I played the mission a couple of times and here's what you need to know: the game gives you 3 and a half ingame hours to get Salvatore. Of course he leaves a few ingame minutes later. The first time I played I was spotted and Sal got back into the club and I failed the mission. The second time I blocked the entry with a Stinger which eventually exploded but it was still blocking the entry. After I killed the mafia guys Sal for some reason didn't go back inside, he was trying to get out of the back alley I blocked with the Stinger and just as I was trying to move the exploded Stinger out of his way, the game crashed. MyDog Posted August 4, 2010 Share Posted August 4, 2010 I had no trouble killing him, he drops a lot of money and I always kill all the bodyguards and pick it up. radioman Posted August 5, 2010 Share Posted August 5, 2010 If i'm not mistaken, the correct sniping position is from the roof across from the club-it is easy to get to without alerting the mafia. If you are having difficulty with the sniper, just drive straight to Sal's house(where you got his missions from), and wait by the blockades at the foot of the driveway and just use the Rocket Launcher on him as he comes up the drive way in his car-that's how I pass it easily. The Rocket Launcher is easily obtainable from your safe house just by getting the Hidden Packages(which should be done by now). just a heads up.
