WDR
This is my latest idea...I am only showing a preview of my work. If I get a couple of good responses I will continue this thread. OK here goes... Rockstar Games Presents... A Rockstar North Production... Story Preview: Alexander Delgado, a former jailbird bent on revenge, after being released from prison. Revenge? Why? On who? And who landed him in prison?...Why should someone choose revenge when they can leave their past behind and forget anything ever happened? Can't they simply ignore the past?...No! They can't. Not when the past haunts you. Should you go after your past? Or try to escape it while it continues to haunt you? Well...You decide!!! The Location: The state of San Andreas. This state is the largest and highly populated of the three states that border the west coast of USA. Hence, it is nicknamed the West Coast, although it does not comprise of the whole western coastal region. San Andreas is a beatiful terrain containing urban and rural development as well as some great natural landscape on the outskirts of cities. San Andreas contains five cities. Los Santos, San Fierro, San Julio, San Cabrillo and Pino. OK my thread is finally up, here it goes... 1) The Location 2) Gameplay 3) Law Enforcement & Wanted Level System 4) Gangs and Mafia 5) Character Profiles 6) Storyline/Plot 7) Epilogue and Easter Eggs The Location The game is set in 2011 fictional state of San Andreas, based on real-life California. The five major cities include, (the numbering is according to size) 1) Los Santos - based on Los Angeles 2) San Fierro - based on San Francisco 3) San Cabrillo - based on San Diego 4) San Julio (pronounced San Hulio) - based on San José 5) Pino (pronounced pee-no) - based on Fresno This is the road map of San Andreas. The roads in the map are actually major roads. They are classified as having two lanes on each side or more. Smaller streets and roads are not shown. The above map indicates the location of airports and ports in the state of San Andreas. Airplane Locations, 1) The airplane icon in San Fierro is the Easter Bay International Airport. 2) The one in San Julio is the San Julio International Airport. 3) The one in San Cabrillo is the Air Force Training Base. 4) The one north of Los Santos denotes the Wright Flying Academy. 5) The icon in south Los Santos is the Los Santos International Airport. Port Locations, 1) The icon in southwest San Fierro is the San Fierro import/export docks. 2) The icon in east San Fierro is the St. Francis Ferry Terminal for civilians. 3) The one located in San Julio is the San Julio Ferry Port. 4) The one in south of San Cabrillo is the Didacus import/export loading/unloading bay. 5) The last one located in southeast Los Santos is the Los Santos loading docks. These are the geographic locations of San Andreas. 01) Mount Fierro - A high mountainous region, always snow capped. 02) San Fierro rural area - a slopy grassland area. 03) Pino County rural area - a plain grassland area. 04) San Cabrillo rural area - a hilly grassland area. 05) San Cabrillo Beach - a sandy coastal area. 06) Santa Maria Beach - a sandy coastal area. 07) Playa del Marina - a sandy coastal area. 08) Los Santos City - the urban region of Los Santos. 09) San Cabrillo City - the urban region of San Cabrillo. 10) San Julio City - the urban region of San Julio. 11) San Fierro City - the urban region of San Fierro. 12) Pino City - the urban region of Pino. 13) Golden Sands Beach - a sandy and rocky coastal area. 14) Aviator Beach - a rocky coastal area. A little history lesson: Every civilization is built on a water body, mostly a river. The water bodies of San Andreas, 1) Little Pine Lake - a man-made lake in Pino. 2) St. Francis Lake - a natural lake in San Fierro. 3) The River of Good Fortune - a river separating urban and rural areas of San Cabrillo. 4) Miel de Santos River - the largest river which is in Los Santos. 5) The San Feirro River - a river starting from Mount Fierro. The little black box is the San Fierro Dam. The Cities:- The state of San Andreas contains five cities, (Note: All the city descriptions are lightly based upon the real life cities but are rather my own interpretation and any resemblance other than name, location and monuments is purely coincidential) Los Santos is the largest city and capital of the San Andreas state. It comprises most of the southern part of the state and half of the eastern part. 38% of the whole state's population live in Los Santos. Los Santos is the intellectual and entertainment centre of the state comprising of many universities and film studios. It is also called the elite centre as most of the rich, famous and influential people live here. Other than that, the common population comprises mostly of blacks, hispanics and some Asians. The city's national income is mostly sustained by it's very popular film and entertainment industry. The city is famous for it's large number of hip hop and rap artists and a majority of songs in this genre are recorded in studios here. The downside of this city is, however, the massive amount of street violence. Different street gangs and hoodlums have their rivalry and no one knows when a gang war might spark up. A member of one gang might suddenly start attacking a member of another gang. And if one (the player) happens to be in the war zone at the time, then they are most likely to get hit. Since this city is the capital, all government organizations and offices are situated right in the heart of the city. Even the governor of San Andreas has his office and residence here. Los Santos is beautifully landscaped plains area with a mountainous region to its north. The Miel de Santos River runs through the city and flows into the sea, divided into tributaries, at three locations. It originates from the Miel Mountain in the north. Five bridges connect the city of Los Santos with three other cities as San Julio cannot directly be connected. Two bridges connect to San Fierro, a bridge to Pino and two bridges to San Cabrillo. All bridges are part of the same highway called the 'Outer Ring Road', which basically circles round the whole city of Los Santos. Los Santos is also famous for its beaches, the Santa Maria beach to the south, which is the largest beach in the whole of San Andreas, and the Playa del Marina to the east. Los Santos has two basketball teams and one soccer team and houses a large stadium. British soccer player Jacob Bendit plays for the only soccer team, Los Santos Stars. The city has an industrial import/export loading docks in its south-eastern tip which usually exports electronics and other goods from its factories to Vice City and Carcer City. Los Santos is a promising city filled with many opportunities for those who dream of a greater way of life. It is one of the cities that never dissapoints no matter what. San Fierro is the second largest city in the state of San Andreas and the capital of technological developments and the interactive entertainment industry. Some of the country's biggest technological software and hardware companies are headquartered here. It is also the sports centre of the state with more than seventeen big baseball clubs, four baseball teams, one soccer team, two football teams, and two basketball teams. It also has four large stadiums, one for each sport as mentioned above. The city's population comprises mainly of Mexicans and Italians and a minority of blacks and whites. A minus point, the city is the king of crime. The Mafia has its base here and to the north of the city is the world's largest prison with half of its cells full. The reason that half of the cells are empty is because criminals roam the streets of San Fierro. The city's law enforcement system is quite ridiculous and hopeless, as they would go after the player for crashing into cars or hitting people and not after highly sought after murder convicts or drug dealers that freely walk down the street whistling and watch the police nab the player for silly reasons. They do that to the player sometimes as well. They don't give a damn even as the player tries to escape after doing a crime in front of them. San Fierro is a very hilly region with many ups and downs and a rural area to the south. The slopes gradually decrease from north to south. In the northwest of the city is a mountain, Mount Fierro, the largest and tallest mountain in the state of San Andreas. It is snow-capped throughout the year. The San Fierro River starts in the peaks of Mount Fierro, and ends up in the sea on the outskirts of town. The San Fierro Dam barriers between the San Fierro River and the sea, and is used for generating hydro-electric power for the whole state. An alternate source of power comes from the thermal power plant in San Cabrillo. San Fierro contains the largest of two lakes in San Andreas. It is in the southeastern part of San Fierro between the two bridges connecting it to Los Santos and is called the St. Francis Lake. San Fierro has a popular beach to it's western coast, the Golden Sands Beach. The largest sea body enclosed by San Andreas is located near San Fierro and that area in San Fierro is known as the San Fierro Bay. San Fierro's national income comes mainly from tourism because it has many tourist attractions and locations. Tourists can take the Helitours which is a helicopter touring company that takes tourists high in the sky for a bird's eye-view of sightseeing. Likewise, there is the Croctours company which uses an amphibious bus that tours throughout the city on road and around the shores of San Fierro on water. Initially, the Croctours bus went into the San Fierro River but isn't going now due to strong water currents. San Fierro is connected directly to three other cities and indirectly connected to San Cabrillo, with four bridges. Two bridges connect it with Los Santos, a bridge to Pino and a bridge to San Julio. These were the first wrought iron bridges to be built in San Andreas thus earning the city its current name, San Fierro (spanish for 'St. Iron'). San Fierro is a lovely place with lots to explore and see if one has the freewill and time. Along with its great structures and monuments, there are also some hidden places which can be explored and easily overlooked. Take time to relax on the Golden Sands Beach to the west as you sit in the evening breeze and watch the sun set in front of you. Hope you enjoy your stay. San Cabrillo is the third largest city of San Andreas. It is an industrial and economical city with some rural areas to the east. It's numerous factories and manufacturing plants give it a dull look. But don't let this fool you. The headquarters of the FIB for the whole state of San Andreas is located in San Cabrillo. The city also houses the most important of the national securities, the Army and the Air Force. Due to this fact, it has been given the title of San Andreas' Safest City. But don't be so sure as there are two warring biker gangs in this city. The city has factories of the many technological companies of San Fierro, and many other local factories. Very much thriving in industry, this city has the second-most important sources of energy, the thermal power plant. Now this power plant supplies annually to its homecity, San Cabrillo, and the city of Pino. However, it is very much in demand during the summer when the San Fierro Dam will cease working due to low water currents. During the summer, it supplies thermo-electricity to the whole state. The geographical structure of San Cabrillo is very flat, except for the Didacus Hill located in the northern part of the city. The River of Good Fortune flows from the springs of Didacus Hill to the south of the island and into the sea. It separates the urban and rural areas of San Andreas. It has one of the biggest export/import loading docks in the whole state. The Air Force has an airport used exclusively for training young pilots almost dirctly north to the loading docks. Hence, they are both nicknamed 'the sparrow on the turtle's shell'. San Cabrillo also has a great beach to its south, the San Cabrillo Beach. The Miel Mountain of Los Santos can be seen from this beach. San Cabrillo is home to the biggest gay community in San Andreas and has loads of gay clubs that one can visit irrespective of their sexuality. San Cabrillo also has a lot of straight clubs that one can visit. The citizens of San Cabrillo are football crazy. They would rather die that stop watching football. The city has three football teams which play each other in the local Trio Cup. The city also has a lesser crazed baseball team which plays Inter-city and Nationals. Some of the factories offer tours to people on the manufacturing of goods in their factory. Other factories offer jobs to those willing to work, so it's opportunities aplenty. The city is also famous for its housing and real estate development. People are able to buy large pieces of land and build houses or buy already built houses. There are four bridges connecting San Cabrillo to three other cities, two connecting to Los Santos on either side of Miel Mountain, one to San Julio and one bridge to Pino. The bridge to Pino is very essential to San Cabrillo as it connects the factories with their companies' head offices in San Fierro. The rural areas of San Cabrillo are famous for its corn fields inside and outside the state, although it has been known to also produce wheat. San Cabrillo is a city which grants freedom to those who visit and they can do as they please. The city, with its diverse culture and economy has a lot to offer and is surely worth a visit. San Julio is the fourth largest city of San Andreas. After World War II, many people from different countries immigrated to San Andreas. Though they have spread out in the state, a majority of them have settled in San Julio. San Julio has a lot of different ethnic communities residing in it. The city is a world cultural centre in itself. The different ethnicities in San Julio include the Chinese, Japanese, Indian, Korean, Brazilian, Somalian and the Indonesians. The ethnicity with maximum number of people residing in San Julio are the Chinese as of Census 2010. Prominant ethnic communities among San Julio are Little India, Chinatown and Rio de America. The city strives on its scientific research and tourism. Many famous monuments and structures built by the immigrants are seen throughout the city. For instance, one must not miss the famous Hindu temple atop the Marvel Hill so elegantly carved in pure white marble, or the tall pagoda of the famous Shen Chi Chinese temple. Many religious buildings are located in the city, i.e. churches, temples, mosques and a synagogue. The Al Fatiha Mosque stands as the largest building in San Andreas in terms of area and diameter of the dome. The city is nicknamed 'Einsteinia', often considered rude, due to the fact that it houses the largest observatory along with the only space and biological research centre in San Andreas. The city also has 20 large movie theatres which play Vinewood English movies along with movies of different languages belonging to the local people there. The city has a beach, the Aviator Beach, which stands next to the runway of the San Julio International Airport. Gambling is very popular in San Julio and also a source of the city's income. San Julio has three large casino /hotels for tourists. Once again, the Helitours and Croctours are also available for tourists. The tourists to San Julio can come either by air to San Julio International Airport, or by ferry to San Julio Ferry Port. On a more darker note, there is a lot of street violence, although less compared to Los Santos, in San Julio. There are continuing feuds between the Chinese and Japanese, as well as between two subgroups of Brazilians. The city is home to the much lesser influential Chinese Mafia. San Julio has a large mansion with gardens and park for tourists called the Senator Villa. But it is closed when the President comes to visit as this is his guest house in San Andreas. San Julio is famous for its football stadium, the Trojan Stadium, where thousands of people come to watch national and local football games. San Julio has only one football team and basketball team. The city of San Julio is a diverse cultural and ethnic location which gives locals and outsiders an opportunity to know their neighbour's culture and heritage without having to visit their country. Overall, a city where one can live comfortably without any racial differences, provided he has a lot of money. Pino is the only county present in San Andreas which contains the smallest and final city of San Andreas, Pino (haha! that sentence made me laugh!). Although classified by the San Andreas Government as a major city, it can, more accurately, be described as an oversized village. The people are simple, sustain themselves on agriculture and live in ordinary cottages. Nevertheless, the city contains a soccer stadium, a winery with a small vineyard plantation and a man-made lake. The county gets its name from the large amount of pine trees present all around. Initially, these pine trees were to be cut down to make paper but the people objected and they stayed as a monument. Pino has a highway on its boundaries called the 'Necklace Road'. This has a high significance as it connects some of the major cities of San Andreas. It is the busiest road in the whole state of San Andreas. Four bridges connect Pino with the other four cities, San Fierro, Los Santos, San Cabrillo and San Julio. Pino is famous for its wheat production and the city's income comes mainly from the export of wheat to flour mills in San Cabrillo. The city also has a Binco clothes factory which produces, exports and locally sells clothes at a price lower than Binco stores. The county doesn't have any sports teams but hosts the Inter-City Soccer League in it's stadium, the Charlie Wilson Football Stadium. The buildings in the city are medium sized and it has no high rise skyscrapers, except for a Tall Tower in the northwestern part. The man-made lake in the south-eastern part of the county is called Little Pine Lake. It was first created by old farmers to water the wheat fields during the dry season. Within the city, there are pubs, bars and social clubs where one can hang out and make friends. Coming to crime in the city, apart from some vandalism and property damage and holding territory, the crime is not very serious and life is quite peaceful. The Italian Mafia has a base here, but only operates here and does not pose a threat to civilians. To the south of Pino County is a small village, Nuremville, which has its own bank, council and jail. Nuremville is inhabited by mostly Filipinos which hold territory there. In my opinion, Pino is a quiet and peaceful county/city with a rural atmosphere where the people are simple and friendly without a care in the world. If anyone wants to relieve urban stress or lay back in a country atmosphere, they should come to Pino. Welcome to Pino!! These are the five major cities in San Andreas. Other cities mentioned or made cameos are, Vice City - Seen in the first few missions, cannot really be classified as Vice City as only a neighbourhood and jailhouse is seen. Carcer City - Seen in one mission. An enclosed warehouse setting which is said to be Carcer City at the start of the mission but may not be. Gameplay The game starts off in around March 2011 and ends in around September 2011. It starts off in Vice City and continues in San Andreas. The games follows similar graphics from GTA IV with more realism. It guarantees players complete involvement in the game. The game runs on the proprietary RAGE engine in collaboration with Natural Motion Euphoria Character Behaviour System. One negative aspect of the previous GTA game i.e. GTA IV, was that exploration and explorable areas were limited and it got a bit boring, honestly. Also, there was nothing left to do after completion of the storyline. A new feature introduced in this game is the employment. Jobs can taken up by the player, after the storyline, recieving money and fun at the same time. The jobs in-game require players to be on time, have achievements, etc. which I will be expanding as you read on. The map has been enlarged and is now slightly larger than the GTA: San Andreas map, the largest GTA map till date. Character emotions have been very much improved (thanks to Euphoria) and will react very accurately to surroundings which are randomized. This game gives players a memorable gaming experience. Happy Gaming!! Law Enforcement & Wanted Level System The law enforcement of San Andreas varies between cities. The Police Departments are different within each city, but the Army, Air Force, NOOSE and FIB stay the same irrespective of location. Police Depatments All police department are sub-departments of The San Andreas Police Department, whose headquarters is located in Los Santos, the capital. SFPD-The San Fierro Police Department is the first law enforcement encountered by the player. It is the laziest and most corrupted of all the police departments. They are the reason criminals roam the streets as free birds. Evading these idiots is a piece of cake when there is a wanted level as some of them act ignorant towards the player and will not try to catch him even if the player is standing in front of them. (Like Comic Book Guy says 'Worst Police Department Ever!!') LSPD-The Los Santos Police Department is the by far the most dignified, strict and dangerous police department in the whole of San Andreas. They may be because of the government organizations, or the number of street gangs, the reason is unclear. Evading LSPD is literally IMPOSSIBLE!! They have clever tactics and good strategy for nabbing criminals. Around three cars are sent at once, and no matter how much speeding is done, they are still attached to your fluffy little tail. The player gets caught by them once during the storyline (Best way of evading them is going to San Fierro, as LSPD will contact SFPD about the player because it is out of their boundaries and SFPD will make a lazy attempt to catch the player before giving up quickly). Howard Miles works for the LSPD. SCPD-The San Cabrillo Police Department is neither a bad one or good, but it can be said that they are capable of doing their job well, as seen in one of the missions of San Cabrillo. But these people are known to be putting a lot of roadblocks to stop the player rather than chasing them (Why catch him from the back when we can catch him from the front?). These roadblocks have been known to work in most cases but are not completely foolproof. Having said that, I'd say this is the perfect police department in the whole state. PCPD-The Pino County Police Department is a little different from the rest of the police departments of San Andreas. Although a sub of the SAPD, the PCPD follow the sheriff system, with a sheriff as head of the PCPD and his deputies in charge of the rural and urban areas of the Pino County. Their mode of transport is also different from the standard ones used by other subs. They use a 4WD Jeep and a dirtbike in their pursuits. They are a little slow at first but will catch the player if they are quite determined to. Also their attire consists of differently coloured shirt and trousers similar to that of the Vice City police. I would say this department is a good and honest one which constantly tries to nab down The Rogues. SJPD-The San Julio Police Department follows a sort of 'do what you're told' rule and are not well known for thinking by themsleves. This does not show that they are stupid, but they do as ordered by their higher officials without asking questions. They are well-trained in catching criminals and do have a good strategy behind them. Owing to the fact that there are many warring street gangs and Mafia in San Julio, they are likely to change course and head to a gang war leaving the player on their superiors' orders (the player might get lucky if a gang war is going on elsewhere, but this only occurs with a low wanted level). In my opinion, a strong department which could use more induvidual brainwork. NOOSE NOOSE (National Office Of Security Enforcement), previously SWAT (Special Weapons And Tactics), is a law enforcement defence organization, under the employ of the SAPD. Originally SWAT, it was universally renamed NOOSE in all cities of America after being first introduced in Liberty City. The NOOSE are highly equipped with millitary grade weapons and heavy armour, and only appear after getting a third wanted level stage. The whereabouts of NOOSE headquarters is unknown, but they appear after a third stage wanted level irrespective of the location. NOOSE vehicles are large and slow and usually make good roadblocks. For Air Chases, a NOOSE helicopter is used (see Airways Evasion). Police also appear alongside. FIB The Federal Investigation Bureau is a national government law enforcement organization originally from Capital City with the San Andreas branch located in San Cabrillo. They appear in fast black sedans, equipped with Assault Rifles (I will detail later in the weapons section), when the player reaches the fifth stage wanted level. The FIB cars are fast and are quick on chasing the player. Evading is tough but can be accomplished. The FIB uses helicopters as well. Police and NOOSE also appear alonside. Army/Military/Air Force The Army arrives after achieving the seventh stage of the wanted level system. They are equipped with SMGs a pose quite threat to the player if stationary. They are quite unable to chase the player as they have a very slow moving tank as their vehicle. These tanks have a turret equipped which is fired only if the player is in a vehicle and in the vicinity. If the player is in air, the Air Force comes into action and sends fighter jets, which fire missiles, after the player. The Navy however doesn't function and the safest bet is to jump into the water. The FIB, NOOSE and Police appear alongside. Airways Evasion Each of the above mentioned law enforcement organization has its own airways transport which goes after the player. SAPD helicopter-The police departments will send SAPD helicopters after the player irrespective of location. These come only after the second stage wanted level. They are quite stupid in a way and can be evaded easily. They have two open doors, one on each side, with a police officer shooting from either side. They shoot at the player inside the aircraft, rather than the aircraft. NOOSE helicopter-The NOOSE is an armoured dark blue helicopter with closed doors. It has a turret equipped which shoots shells continuously, sort of like a minigun, and has long range. The turret shells are quite strong and will damage the player's aircraft quickly, so avoiding them as much as possible is wise. FIB helicopter-The FIB helicopter is fast and has four open doors, with two FIB officers firing from each side. They are clever and will shoot an essential part of the player's aircraft (i.e. the heli's rotor, or a plane's engine, or the tail wings). Staying away from them as much as possible is good. Air Force Jet Fighter-The Air Force is the only one to send planes after the player. The Fighter Jet is capable of firing heat seeking missiles or machine guns depending on the range. They are very fast and deadly, so unless one is a good flyer, one must not try to fly on a seventh stage wanted level. Supposedly there is a Naval Base and Police Boats are available, but they don't function and the player is safe when in water (although the aircraft try to do you in by firing missile into the water). WDR
The Wanted Level System The Wanted Level System differs greatly from it's counterpart in previous GTAs, such as the Wanted Level HUD. The HUD-The HUD no longer consists of the classic six stars with each star denoting each level. The Wanted Level HUD is located around the rim of the little circular navigator in the bottom left corner, somewhat similar to health and armour in GTA IV. It is divided into seven segments of a circle, each segment known as a stage, which denote each of the seven wanted levels. They are intially orange in colour but turn red when the wanted level is achieved. The Wanted Level is now increased from six to seven stages. Each stage and the reasons for achieving them is shown below. Stage HUD Law Enforcers Vehicles Used Achieved as a result of First Stage Police On foot, Police Cars Hurting fellow citizens, destroying public property, abusing traffic rules, drawing a weapon, driving past toll booths without paying, stealing stationary or moving vehicles, destroying vehicles, robbing from any businesses Second Stage Police On foot, Police Cars, Police Helicopter Gunning down an officer of the law, mass murder, mass vehicle destruction, continuing to cause public property damage, continuing to resist against any law enforcement Third Stage Police, NOOSE On foot, Police Cars, NOOSE Armoured Truck, Police Helicopter, NOOSE Helicopter Gunning down more officers of the law, mass vehicle destruction, continuing to cause public property damage, continuing to resist against any law enforcement Fourth Stage Police, NOOSE On foot, Police Cars, NOOSE Armoured Truck, Police Helicopter, NOOSE Helicopter Entering forbidden locations (FIB headquarters, Army/Air Force base), continuing to cause public property damage, continuing to resist against any law enforcement Fifth Stage Police, NOOSE, FIB On foot, Police Cars, NOOSE Armoured Truck, FIB sedans, Police Helicopter, NOOSE Helicopter, FIB helicopter Continuing to cause public property damage, continuing to resist against any law enforcement Sixth Stage Police, NOOSE, FIB On foot, Police Cars, NOOSE Armoured Truck, FIB sedans, Police Helicopter, NOOSE Helicopter, FIB helicopter Entering an unlocked area, continuing to cause public property damage, continuing to resist against any law enforcement Seventh Stage Police, NOOSE, FIB, Army/Air Force On foot, Police Cars, NOOSE Armoured Truck, FIB sedans, Army Tanks, Police Helicopter, NOOSE Helicopter, FIB helicopter, Air Force Fighter Planes. Destroying Military/FIB property or vehicles, continuing to cause public property damage, continuing to resist against any law enforcement NOTE: I have given vehicles general names (helicopter, tanks, cars, etc.). I will expand on these in the Vehicles section. Los Santos Gangs:- Los Santos is the home of many bloodily fighting street gangs some of which are allies and some of which are enemies. The gangs of Los Santos have an interesting affinity for territory and common cause. El Corona Families: An African American street gang based in El Corona, Los Santos. Led by Michael Smith, they work towards the betterment of the neighbourhood and strictly against the use of drugs, prostitution and extortion. They are rivalled against the Arma de Los Santos, a Mexican drug pushing gang, and the Gringos, an equally bad-assed African American gang. The rivalry between the Arma and ECF is the highest. Arma de Los Santos: A Hispanic street gang based in South Los Santos, often in a feud with the El Corona Families. They are allies with the Gringos and often do drug business with them. The Arma is one of the oldest street gangs in Los Santos. They are also in a war with the Los Santos Joventas, a Cuban gang from West Los Santos. The Gringos: It is an African American Gang based in Vinewood in North Los Santos. They are an enemy of the El Corona Families, and an ally to the Arma de Los Santos mainly due to their drug abusing habits and other criminal activities. They are mostly in lesser feud with the ECF, but are strongly rivalled against the San Filipino, a Filipino gang also from North Los Santos. Los Santos Joventas: The Joventas are a Cuban gang based in West Los Santos, originally from the Isla de la Juventud in Cuba. They are a small gang with very less influence and territory. They are often seen fighting with the Arma. They are also rivalled against the San Filipino. They are not into the narcotic business. San Filipino: The only non-American and Asian gang in the whole of Los Santos. Their territory includes the northwest parts of Los Santos, southeast parts of Pino, and the join between the two cities. They can be seen in Pino as well as Los Santos. They are not in the drug business or any other civilian crimes. They are in a continuous war with The Los Santos Joventas and the Arma de Los Santos. Their main motive is 'To attain Eternal Salvation'. They are not allied with any gangs but are in an uneasy truce with the ECF, as the ECF wants them to stay off their turf. Their name is a play on the words, San Andreas and Pino, as that's where they are based. NOTE: Only the El Corona Families will never attack the player. However, the hostility of the Los Santos Joventas and the San Filipino is completely random and unpredictable, which may or may not attack the player. The Arma de Los Santos and The Gringos always attack the player. San Fierro Gangs:- San Fierro is mostly controlled by the Mexican and Italian Mafia, hence the absence of many street gangs. Although there is one street gang, it is allied to the Mexican Mafia and will not attack the player (unless there is a glitch). Valgaras Crime Family: A Mexican crime organization based in San Fierro led by mobster Paul Valgaras. They are always in a continuing feud with Italian Mafia faction, Mazzini Crime Family. The organization is crumbled but again re-formed. Mazzini Crime Family: An Italian crime organization run by the four Mazzini brothers in different states of America. The one in San Fierro is run by André Mazzini, but is weak due to uprising local Mexican Mafia. It gets strong when the Valgaras are crumbled, but is destroyed when Valgaras are reformed. San Fierro Salvajes: The San Fierro Salvajes are a Mexican/Costa Rican street gang in San Fierro. They are friendly and will not hurt the player. But they will start firing at the Mazzini gangsters, so getting in between is not a wise idea. Also if any third party is attacking the player, they will come to the player's rescue. They have no significance in the storyline. The Silent Monks: The Silent Monks are a faction of the San Julio triads, a Chinese underground society, based in Chinatown, San Fierro. They are most commonly seen in the Chinatown area but may rarely be seen in other places too. NOTE: Of the four above San Fierro gangs, the Mazzini gang will react hostilly with the player. The Silent Monks might attack the player if provoked, but it is unlikely. San Cabrillo Gangs:- San Cabrillo does not contain many gangs, mainly because of the FIB headquarters and the Armed Forces Commanding Base being located there, but this might not be the reason. La Caballería de Cabrillo: A biker gang led by half hispanic/half black guy, Jimmy Moreno. The members of the gang are of many mixed races. The members all have one thing in common, they all have been betrayed at least once by former brethren. This is the reason for the leader to be so cautious about trusting strangers. The gang rides Harley Davidson style choppers. The Trails of Fire Motorcycle Gang: An elite biker gang that rides high end sports bikes for a hobby rather than a cause. They are rivalled by the Caballería. The rich and elite members of this gang threw in some money and got themselves a huge clubhouse where a member can hang out with fellow members or relax with any form of recreation present there. Most of the gang die out when the clubhouse gets destroyed. Whether the gang still continues after the disaster or not, is unknown. The Cabrillan Fags: A gay organization, rather than a gang, formed by a group of homosexual people in order to protest their rights as a result of having been shunned by the society. They ironically named themselves 'fags', an insulting slang word for gays. They don't have any significance in the storyline and can be seen walking on the streets of San Cabrillo. They don't attack the player. NOTE: None of these gangs attack the player, so San Cabrillo is quite safe. San Julio Gangs:- San Julio is home to a community of many multicultural and multiracial ethnicities. Thus, it has a lot of street gangs and Mafia consisting of different ethnic groups. The Raging Monkeys: A faction of the San Julio triads based in Chinatown, San Julio. It is higher than The Silent Monks and lower than The Sleeping Tigers. It is led by Chun Wong Lee, a teashop owner in Chinatown. They are allied with the Valgaras Crime Family and are in a constant war with the Italian Mafia and the Imperial Soldiers, a Japanese gang. The Sleeping Tigers: It is the highest faction of the San Julio triads based in Chinatown, San Julio. It has The Raging Monkeys and The Silent Monks under it's control. It is against drug traficking and will throttle any other gang/crime organization doing drug business in San Julio. Sathadhruvamsha Yodhulu: A South Indian organization based in San Julio. Though their main motto is non-violence, they go by the saying 'Fight fire with fire' or 'A thorn can only be removed by a thorn', thus resulting the gang's use of weapons and involving themselves in street violence. Their name translates to 'Warriors who kill a hundred enemies before they die', though this should only be taken literally. They are neutral with the San Julio triads and are enemies with the Imperial Soldiers. Imperial Soldiers: This is a drug pushing and racist Japanese gang that are enemies with the San Julio triads and the Sathadhruvamsha Yodhulu. They are mostly known for their racist murders and offences on the common civilians of San Julio. They think of themselves as the highest race and all others are rats under their feet. Most of the gang is killed during the storyline, but may have survived later. Os Tribos do Sul: A Brazilian gang based in the South American district of San Julio. Their name in Portuguese means 'The Tribes of the South'. They have no significance in the storyline. They are a small time street gang whose enemies are The São Paulo Boys. They act neutrally towards the player. The São Paulo Boys: A Brazilian street gang based in the South American district of San Julio. They are in a constant fight with The Tribos for territory. With no significance in the storyline, they act neutrally towards the player but may attack occasionally (a glitch?!). NOTE: The Imperial Soldiers will attack the player and are quite powerful, so be careful. Pino Gangs:- Pino, being a small county and city, doesn't have many gangs. Two gangs share territory along with the Italian Mafia. San Filipino: A Filipino gang sharing territories in Los Santos and Pino. It is not in any war with any Pino gangs but fights bloody with a couple of Los Santos gangs (see Los Santos Gangs above). It holds territory in southern rural areas of Pino and members can be seen in the two villages of Pino. The Rogues of Pino County: A street gang in north of Pino and holds territory in northern Pino. They don't really name themselves, and this is a nickname given to them by the common people. Their crimes are trivial like vandalism and destroying private property. They will attack the player only if confronted and can be identified by an orange band around their upper arm (Nazi?!). They are not in any feud with any other gang and share territory with San Filipino. NOTE: The San Filipino will never attack the player, but The Rogues will attack if provoked. Also the Italian Mafia should not attack the player as he will work for them, but they might attack if confronted. Mexican and Italian Mafia:- The cities of San Andreas are locked between the two feuding Mafia mobs. The Mexican Mafia can be synonymously called the Valgaras Crime Family as that is the only sub-section of the Mexican Mafia based in San Andreas. The main Mexican Mafia is based in Liberty City. Having a good control and hold over San Fierro and a bit of San Cabrillo, it is the second largest mob in the city. The Italian mob, originally based in Vice City, shifted to San Andreas and is the largest mob in the whole country with its sub-sections working in three other cities, namely Vice City, Carcer City, Liberty City. It is in a constant war with the Mexicans. The Mazzini Crime Family is a sub-section based in San Fierro. Storyline/Plot:- Alexander 'Alex' Delgado (christened as 'Alejandro Dominguez Delgado') was born in Vice City in 1983. He was born to a Mexican father, Antonio Delgado and a Costa Rican mother Maria Domínguez who migrated to the USA as kids in the 1960s. He also had an elder sister named Lilly. They also have a family friend named Joe Carrigan. His family was always in poverty and lived in a very small house. His father, Antonio worked as a cleaner in The Elite, one of Vice City's most top hotels. Unfortunately though, Antonio could only earn enough to feed their family. Seeing tourists come to the hotel, he wishes they could see the hidden poverty along with the visible wealth they usually see. Soon, family tensions and job pressures make Antonio crack and he loses his job. Banks obviously won't give him a loan, so he borrows money from illegal moneylenders to keep his family going until he finds another job. Obviously, these moneylenders have Mafia links. Antonio has trouble paying off these debts. Soon, and very soon, as every link is connected in a chain, Antonio gets into trouble with the main Mafia don (yes, he is the main antagonist) in Vice City. He gets warned once, twice, thrice to pay off his debts. Antonio requests a deadline but obviously isn't able to pay by then, either. One day, through the dead of the night, the Mafia don, being a ruthless bastard (excuse the language here), comes to Antonio's house and tortures them. 9 year old Alex and his mother Maria are brutally beaten. Alex's 19 year old sister, Lilly, is molested and raped and killed by one of the don's men. The don then painfully starts to torture Antonio to death. He ties Antonio's wrist with a razor sharp piece of wire and twists his arm holding the piece of wire and not the wrist causing copious amounts of blood to seep out and making Antonio scream in pain. He ties the other wrist, again with a sharp wire, and hangs the wire on a clothes hook on the wall which again causes a lot of bloodshed and pain. He then rips open Antonio's shirt and takes another piece of long wire and starts whipping his bare body making horrible slashes on his skin. He finally takes another piece of sharp wire, puts it around Antonio's throat and strangles him to death. This ends Antonio's pain and worries once and for all. Throughout this execution torture, Alex watches silently with hatred and anger boiling inside him, while his mother keeps on crying begging the don to stop. The don and his men finally leave, leaving the mother and son to mourn the father and daughters' loss. For a few weeks or so, Alex and his try mother to survive by making a living. Alex starts working at the local café cleaning tables and Maria starts working as a maid in The Elite, the same hotel Antonio worked in. One day, as Alex was working, he sees the man who raped and killed his sister. Anger rising inside him, he picks up a knife from the kitchen counter, charges towards the man and stabs him squarely on his chest and kills him. This publicised murder catches the attention of police nearby and Alex is arrested. Maria finds out about Alex's arrest and requests the police to let him go and that he is innocent. Alex is charged and sentenced to a life sentence but their family friend Joe Carrigan comes to his rescue and manages to reduce the sentence to 19 years through his acquaintances. Alex is sent to a children's jail (whatever that is called in the US) and grows up in a prison environment. The game fast forwards to 2004. In his twelfth year, he meets a guy named John Bronson, who was sentenced for robbing a bank. Alex and John become very good friends. Prison makes Alex rough and tough and he is not the once innocent boy he was. The game cuts to 2011, Alex and John are released together and Alex goes to find out what happened to his poor mother (from here the character becomes controllable and missions start). He finds his house, but also finds out his mother no longer lives there. Assuming their family friend, Joe, might know where she is, seeks to find him. After finding Joe, he is devastated to find that his mother sustained herself by working as long as she had the strength and as she became old and weak, she fell ill and died of malnutrition and starvation. Alex and John visit her grave and John tells Alex that he is leaving for his hometown San Fierro and he will stay in touch with him. They bid farewell to each other. Alex then sets out to find the don and avenge his family's death. After few days of scavenging and information gathering, he finds out the don expanded his empire and has moved his base to San Andreas. Alex then decides to go to San Andreas and find the don. He contacts his friend John to arrange a flight, and soon enough arrives in Easter Bay International Airport in San Fierro. John receives him at the airport and takes him to his home. Alex is shocked to see that John lives in a huge mansion atop a hill overlooking the sea in a rich area of San Fierro (First safehouse). Alex learns that John is a quite a powerful personality in San Andreas and Vice City. John has his contacts spread throughout San Andreas and Vice City. John's mansion has everything that's anything. Huge bedrooms, drawing rooms, a library, a swimming pool, a spa, a fitness centre, a recreational room and an entertainment room where movies can be watched or videogames can be played. Alex asks John why he had to rob a bank when he had all this. John laughs and changes the topic asking Alex the reason for his visit. Alex explains the whole story and how his family died. After hearing it, John agrees to help him the best way he can through his influence and his contacts. (Here the San Andreas missions start) At first John makes Alex do some odd jobs like helping him delivering some items and threatening people to pay their debts to him. Alex objects and reminds John that's what people did to his father, Antonio, before he died and he doesn't want to do this. John convinces Alex that, to find a criminal, he has to be a criminal. Alex finally gives in. John accompanies him on first few jobs (first few missions) and then Alex is on his own. Through John, Alex meets John's P.A., Vincent Wayne. Vincent meets him up with his friend, Benito 'Young Bennie' Moretti, an Italian drug dealer who has all sorts of connections with the Mafia and the underworld. Bennie agrees to help Alex if he does some chores for him first. Alex reluctantly agrees as it's his need. After doing him favours, Alex is introduced to Jacob 'Jake' Romero, a middle-aged man who works for the Valgaras Crime Family, a Mexican crime family based in San Fierro. Jake, finding out that Alex is also of Mexican descent, warmly embraces him with open arms. Alex also bonds with him and considers him a fatherly figure. However the only difference between Antonio and Jake is, Antonio can't stand crime and Jake can't live without crime. Nevertheless, he becomes Alex's greatest ally, sometimes providing him with backup, weapons or vehicles, etc. At first, he sends Alex to do some errands for him (here's where combat starts for the first time). The first job involves beating up a person, but not killing him (killing him fails the mission). The second job involves stealing a bulletproof car from a lawyer so he cannot go to court safely without being killed. And the third job involves killing a rival drug dealer for Young Bennie (here starts the sweet sweet killing). Alex hesitates on his first murder, but then understands that in order to reach the top and take revenge, more or less number of people have to die on the way. Jake teaches everything he knows to Alex about handling a gun. Alex grasps this knowledge quickly. Soon, he joins in as the main hitman for the Valgaras family. The don of the Valgaras crime family, Paul Valgaras, becomes very impressed with his skills. Using Alex's gun skills, he plans a strategy where Alex is sent alone to do all sorts of gruesome destructive jobs (mostly killing and ambush missions), as the enemy flees away if they see the whole crime family after them (these few missions involve big gunfights). Finally, Paul asks Alex to accompany him and some of his men to a business deal with his rival, André Mazzini, head of the Mazzini crime family, as a sign of truce between both families. But André Mazzini doesn't show up and they are ambushed by Mazzini goons. A gunfight ensues and finally only Alex and Paul are left alive. It is now Alex's duty to lose the Mazzini tail and drive Paul safely back to his manor. After arriving, they discover this was actually a lure, as some of the Mazzini goons have demolished The Valgaras Manor and everything was in ruins. Alex and Paul scavenge around to find a severely injured Jake and some of the Valgaras men. Jake and Valgaras' men are taken to the hospital (a timed mission, take Jake and Paul's men to hospital in time CAREFULLY). Alex and Paul go a hide in John's mansion as Paul tries to recover from shock. As Jake and Paul's men are slowly recovering, John gets information from his P.A., Vincent, who gets information from Young Bennie, who has inside links to the Mazzini family, that they are planning to kill Jake in his sickbed. Alex now takes it upon himself to bring Jake and Paul's men back safely to John's mansion (a timed mission until the hospital where a timer is shown as the arrival of Mazzini goons to the hospital, then becomes an evade mission after taking Jake from the hospital as he has to evade the attacking Mazzini henchmen before reaching John's). Again, this was a lure and our hero was foolish enough to fall for their trap. As he brings Jake and his men home, Mazzini men start attacking the mansion by shooting down its windows. As a result, the remaining of Paul's men are killed. John tells Vincent to go in hiding and the four of them (John, Alex, Paul and Jake) make a run for it. After safely going to the outskirts of the city, they stop and the four of them try to recover their confused minds from what just happened. Paul tries to commit suicide as he lost everything he had and that there is nothing left for him. Jake stops him and reminds him that he is still there and that this is not the tough guy Paul he knew. Alex promises he will set everything right. Thinking on what to do and where to go next, Jake says he knows a man in Los Santos that can help them out. They agree and the four of them set out for a fresh start in the capital of San Andreas - Los Santos. Jake contacts his friend in Los Santos and he agrees to accomodate them. The four go and meet Jake's friend in Downtown, Los Santos. Jake's friend, Lionel Heart, was a friendly looking white American. He lets Jake and Paul stay with him in his house in eastern Los Santos very near to Playa del Marina. Alex and John, however, are given a small cottage that once belonged to Lionel's dead uncle (Second safehouse). Lionel has a younger and very much attractive sister, Jillian Heart, who falls for Alex at first sight. She later becomes Alex's girlfriend. Alex and John try to lay low for the time being, occasional doing errands for Lionel (the usual killing, stealing, smuggling kinda stuff) and contacting Vincent Wayne about news in San Fierro. After completing a few errands for Lionel, Lionel warns Alex that the streets of Los Santos are not safe and offers Alex protection from one of the street gangs. Lionel takes Alex to Michael 'Mike' Smith, leader of the El Corona Families, a gang based in a sub section of Los Santos. At first, Mike does not trust Alex saying he's Mexican and that their rival gang is also Mexican. Lionel convinces Mike that Alex is against drugs and will be a great asset to their gang. Mike agrees and Alex finds himself in the middle of Los Santos' Gang Warfare (quite a lengthy string of missions, but not too boring). In the meantime, Jake Romero, Paul Valgaras and Lionel Heart occasional ask for Alex's help from time to time (a small bunch of missions to keep the interest of the player, basically). The bling and high living of Los Santos attracts Alex. Although he has seen all this in Vice City, he was never able to enjoy it (here, just for the sake of laying low, the player is able to take girlfriends on dates or friends on outings). Alex gets quite accustomed to his new lifestyle that he forgets about hunting down his family's killer until John reminds him about it. Alex says he is working on it. Then, during a usual gang war between El Corona Families and their rival gang Arma de Los Santos (man...do these guys ever stop?), they are interrupted by the police and everyone except Alex manages to escape. Alex mainly gets caught due to confusion. After being taken to the Los Santos police department, Alex meets an intimidating police officer, Howard Miles, who is willing to let Alex go if he does some jobs for him. Alex unwillingly agrees and does a couple of jobs for him (which involve destroying evidences against Miles, killing eyewitnesses of Miles' unlawful ways, etc.). After doing jobs for him, Alex is let off and Miles hooks him up as a personal bodyguard for Aaron Schreiner, a veteran action hero who is now the governor of San Andreas. Alex meets Governor Aaron Schreiner, a very buff and muscular looking man, and is given the task of driving him everywhere he wants to go (a string of missions which involve driving the governor to different places). 'Driving? A piece of cake!!', thinks Alex, but it's not so simple, not when opposition leaders send their men to ambush and even kill the governor (a mission where the player has to drive the governor to safety avoiding chasing cars and roadblocks. Seriously, what happened to national security?). Soon, the governor's personal bodyguard becomes his personal friend. Governor Schriener becomes grateful to Alex and praises his fighting skills saying that he never was that good even in his movies. He sends Alex to his dear friend, Ralph Stallion, an actor who is about the same age as Schriener but is still in the film business and needs a favour. Alex meets Ralph Stallion in Vinewood Studios, a smooth talking man of Italian descent, and gets a job as a stuntman in Ralph's films (just some fun missions like jumping from a ramp on a truck to the top of a moving train using a bike and using a helicopter with a magnet to lift up a moving car, etc. for the sake of the player's interest). John keeps constantly reminding him about his revenge and Alex indirectly expresses his thoughts of dropping the idea and letting go of his past. But just when he thinks of completely dropping the idea, he spots a man watching while he does a stunt for Mr. Stallion and ends up failing the stunt. The man starts to leave, and Alex asks Ralph for a break and Ralph gladly grants him. Alex follows the man all the way to the outskirts of Los Santos and to San Cabrillo (a follow mission with a spook-o-meter). The man stops in front of a factory and quickly goes inside, but not before Alex gets a good picture of him on his phone. Alex goes back to Los Santos and meets up with John and tells him to find out about this man as he was one of the goons who were present on the night Alex's father and sister were killed. John contacts Vincent, his P.A., who is currently residing in the Bronson Mansion and operating secretly on John's orders (here the mission is completed and the next isn't activated until another six hours). John later informs Vincent has arranged accomodation in San Cabrillo and is going to be meeting them there. Alex leaves his job as a stuntman and explains to Ralph Stallion he has other problems and will rejoin after he has them solved. Ralph cheerily bids him farewell. After that, Alex and John pack up and leave for San Cabrillo, leaving their exciting new life behind and returning to their old task of hunting down the culprit responsible for Antonio's murder. Vincent gets them both a penthouse apartment to stay in (Third safehouse). He meets them there. Vincent informs them that the man Alex saw actually works for the biggest crime organization in San Andreas. Unfortunately, Vincent couldn't get a name, but he did tell them that the leader of the organization the man works for goes by the name 'Sharktooth' and no one knows how he looks like. Alex says that that's not true and someone they know must have seen him. John understands what he means and asks him whether he is sure that the man who killed his father was Sharktooth. Alex says he is not very sure but he will try to get a look at this Sharktooth. Vincent warns them that Sharktooth is too powerful to be turned against and the only way Alex can get to him is by joining their organization and work his way up. Alex and John sit down to think and Vincent leaves them to it and goes back to San Fierro. Alex snoops around a bit and finds out that the factory that the man went into was actually a counterfeit money printing press disguised as a Blubber biscuit factory. The people were clever enough to really manufacture biscuits in case any inspection officers show up. The printing however takes underground. Funnily, if one were to apply for a job in this factory, they should produce a heavy and convincing criminal record printed from the police computer. Alex, unfortunately, has a very loose criminal record. This is where John comes to the rescue and tells Vincent to make very good criminal records for himself and Alex. Alex objects and tells John that it is his battle and tells John not to join with him in the factory. John argues with him and reminds him that without him, Alex wouldn't have got this far and also that John accompanied him this far. Finally Alex gives in and they both manage to secure jobs at the factory. Soon, they slowly gather information bit by bit, and then try to connect the pieces. The man Alex saw is in charge of the conterfeiting and drug import/export business owned by Sharktooth and that his name is Jitthu Panwar. Furthermore, he is an Indian man from San Julio, whose ancestors immigrated there long ago. John hatches a plan and calls FIB and informs that the factory is counterfeiting money in secret. Alex asks John what he is trying to do. John explains to Alex that to get Jitthu's attention, they have to save the factory from destruction or something. Alex comments that the idea is so old-fashioned and adds that he knows it because he has been in jail for nineteen years. He also says that many honourable FIB officers might be killed in the process. John tells Alex to weigh out his priorities and proceeds with his plan. Alex hesitates and then joins in with John. Soon, the FIB arrive and the factory is infiltrated and attacked by FIB officers. A lengthy gunfight ensues and finally Alex and John both get rid of the FIB before they call for backup (this is the duty of the player). Just as they predicted, they fall into the eyes of Jitthu and Jitthu offers them a job as his hitmen. From here Alex and John are sent (separately, of course) do different executing, stealing and infiltrating jobs on rival gangs and businesses. After becoming the most powerful man in San Cabrillo (thanks to Alex and John), Jitthu grants them a break. John contacts Vincent only to find out that San Fierro is in a state of havoc, even more than before because of André Mazzini's expanding tyranny. Alex remembers his promise to Paul Valgaras, and makes a mental note to himself about keeping his promise after his work is done. In the meantime, Howard Miles, the cop from L.S., comes to San Cabrillo with Alex's criminal record file to arrest him. But he is so impressed from Alex's fighting and gunman skills that he offers to give his record file if he does some work for him (this work involves, infiltrating the FIB office in San Cabrillo and retrieving a case file, breaking out a 'friend' of Miles' from the large prison in San Fierro using a helicopter and other similar missions involving firefights and a bit of stealth). After doing jobs for him, Miles gives Alex's record file back to him and leaves for Los Santos and does not make an appearance again. Alex and John deduce that they need more base in San Cabrillo to take over Jitthu Panwar. They contact Mike Smith in Los Santos about this and Mike leads them to a biker gang he knows in San Cabrillo. Soon, Alex and John meet up with Jimmy Moreno, the leader of La Caballería de Cabrillo (basically means The Cavalry of Cabrillo). He is a very cautious guy who is willing to help them if they are willing to earn his trust. Typically, a bike race takes place and naturally Alex wins (sigh!! doesn't this ever get old?). Jimmy still isn't convinced and asks them to destroy their rival gang's clubhouse, The Trails Of Fire Motorcycle Club. Alex and John grudgingly agree. After arriving at the clubhouse, John expresses doubts about Jimmy joking about this as they see a huge building with four storeys. Alex, set on doing it, drags John with him and together, they infiltrate and kill all the gang members inside it using stealth, hiding behind walls and all that sort of thing. Alex uses the molotov cocktails given to him by Jimmy and burns the place to the ground. The FIB arrives and chase Alex and John who flee the place on a gang motorbike found nearby. A long chase and evasion takes place (fifth stage wanted level, not that easy to evade!!). Finally, they arrive at Jimmy's gangbase are relieved to know that they earned Jimmy's trust. Jimmy, surprisingly has a lot of information regarding Jitthu and his network of businesses. According to him, Jitthu runs a currency counterfeiting business, a drug factory and a diamond import/export in San Cabrillo, some of which Alex and John never knew when they worked for Jitthu. Jimmy waved away the question after being asked how he knew so much, but after some badgering he told them that he once worked as a right hand man for Jitthu before Jitthu betrayed him and left him for the dead. Jimmy says he would love to strangle Jitthu to death. Jimmy's story is not revealed much after this point. Alex and John continue to work for Jitthu while they try to bring him down simultaneously (here a series of missions involving destroying a diamond shipment before it reaches the shores of San Cabrillo, destroying the import/export warehouse, chasing down a helicopter carrying a shipment of drugs, then infiltrating and destroying the drug factory and then reaching Jitthu in time to discover he is distressed and hot-tempered, are done). After seeing his two of his businesses go down in ruins, Jitthu tightens security on his counterfeiting business and confides in Alex to take a load of currency notes to his dealer in Carcer City, while John stays with Jitthu (the player has to take an armoured helicopter to Carcer City and after landing it there, use a forklift to unload the goods into a warehouse safely and return to San Cabrillo). After arriving, Alex and John decides to make their final move with help from La Caballería. They successfully infiltrate the currency counterfeiting factory and burn it down to the ground. Then they go after Jitthu in his office nearby to the factory. Jitthu sees them approaching and flees the place resulting in a chase through the whole city of San Cabrillo. Finally Jitthu is cornered and Alex threatens him to reveal the identity of their leader, 'Sharktooth'. Jitthu confirms that it is Sharktooth who killed Alex's father. Alex further questions Jitthu about Sharktooth's whereabouts and real identity. Jitthu confesses he doesn't know the real name of Sharktooth and where he is. He also emphasizes the fact that he hasn't seen Sharktooth in three years. He, however, lets out the fact that he does know the whereabouts of Sharktooth's right hand man, Wallace Gould, and also the fact that he sees Sharktooth on a regular basis. After revealing Wallace Gould's location, Alex hangs Jitthu on a nearby wall by nailing his shirt with a peg. Jimmy arrives and after giving a nasty grin in reply to Jitthu's shocked expression, he takes out a motorbike chain and strangles him to death. Alex closes his eyes and turns turns away his head. Alex and John return to their apartment and sit down and plan how to get to Wallace Gould's location, which is in Pino, a city southwest of San Cabrillo and west of Los Santos. Their planning is cut short by an FIB helicopter firing a missile at their apartment. The duo jump on a bike and try to flee from the following helicopter and simultaneously dodging their missiles through the city of San Cabrillo. Finally, Alex drives the bike over a bridge and they both fall in the water along with the bike. The FIB cease their chase and leave. John and Alex surface and swim to the shore of Pino County, once again empty-handed, intent on finding Wallace Gould. Both John and Alex climb onto shore outside the city and steal a car on the road and get into the city (also a mission). John calls Vincent on Alex's cellphone, one of the few things they still had on them along with some cash and other things, and Vincent points them in the direction of his nephew, Adam Wayne, who owns a ranch on the edge of the city, somewhat like a border between the countryside and the city. The duo travel to Adam Wayne's ranch, not a huge estate but a decent sized house overlooking a bit a farmland. Adam, a very cheery guy, expects them warmly. He tells John he knew John's father as a kid and it would be a pleasure to accomodate him. He let's them stay at his ranch (Fourth safehouse), and is not seen much afterwards (a waste of character,really...but who will give them a place to stay?). Staying at Adam's ranch made Alex's job much easier, as he could easily talk to Vincent without being secretive. Pino and Adam distract John as they both go out together to parties and clubs scattered throughout Pino. Finally, it is Alex alone. Alex tells Vincent to gather some information about Wallace Gould who is assumed to be residing in Pino. Vincent asks for some time. Meanwhile, Lionel Heart from Los Santos calls Alex and asks to help out a friend in Pino about some car theft business (side missions, can be done later as well but first one should be done now). This 'friend' does not show his identity and calls only twice (at the start of the first theft and at the end of the last theft). All the while, he only communicates to Alex using sticky post-it notes stuck to the wall of each location. Vincent calls Alex and tells him that Wallace Gould is indeed in Pino and currently runs the whole city. Alex tells him, he now knows why so many people dressed in black roam the streets of Pino. Alex still tries to find a way to reach Wallace, as he is heavily protected and rarely seen outside. Furthermore, Alex is broke and needs money to sustain himself. He hears that world's famous soccer champion, Jacob Bendit, is coming to Pino for the Inter-city Soccer League taking place in Pino, and that he needs a chauffeur to drive him around. He enrolls for the job but is rejected for failing to provide a valid ID. Alex determined on getting the job, gets a recommendation from Governor Schreiner in Los Santos. In the end, he finally lands the job. Alex drives Jacob and his wife everywhere they want to go until the Soccer League is over (another string of driving missions). If Alex thinks this is easy, let him think again. In the final mission, Jacob and his wife are invited by an anonymous person for dinner just before his final match. The restaurant's address is given to Alex and after driving there, discovers it to be the address of an old abandoned warehouse off the coast of the city. Jacob suggests it might be a very discreet private dinner and he and his wife get down and enter the warehouse telling Alex to wait outside in the car. Alex watches them go, when suddenly, two men grab the couple covering their mouths and pull them away as the warehouse door starts to close. Alex quickly gets out of the car and runs and rolls under the door just in time (here the actual mission starts). Alex fights his way through the three floors, hiding behind walls, killing goons using stealth. Finally, he finds a man standing over a tied up Jacob and his wife. Alex shoots the gun in his hand and a hand to hand melee fight ensues. In the end Alex floors him, unties Jacob, and ties him up. He later finds out that this man works for Wallace. After gathering information on how to get to Wallace, Alex delivers a cut to his wrist and leaves him to bleed to death. He drives safely back to the hotel Jacob is staying at. Jacob thanks him and tells him that he will mention this act of bravery and sincerity to Governor Schreiner. Alex bids him farewell and jokes that the governor already knows about that. Having gathered information about Wallace, Alex proceeds to tell John about his findings. Using this information, he meets Wallace, a cunning man, and joins as his hitman, clearly impressing him (a mission where the player must hit a couple of targets within the given time at the local gun-shop, Ammu-nation). Alex is dead set on not letting John join with him. Alex, as Wallace's main hitman, is taken to wherever he goes and is given various jobs to do (deliver goods, business deals, ambushes and even a bank robbery). However, Alex finds it very hard to get Wallace on his own, as he is very careful about the company around him. Wallace doesn't stay with less than three people at a place. Meanwhile, Alex's plans are halted due to the fact that Wallace sends him off to help a friend of his, Gordon Shinnigan, in the Los Santos Porting Docks. Alex goes off again to Los Santos, and finds Gordon Shinnigan, who runs the illegal import of weapons into San Andreas from Vice City. Alex is surprised to find Gordon is not actually a 'friend' of Wallace, but is forced to work under him. He expresses his dream of leaving San Andreas and this business and opening up a café in Vice City. Alex helps him with his import business (delivering them to designated places, loading and unloading cargo and even defending the import warehouse from attacking rivals). Finally, Gordon asks Alex to look over his business deal and take care of any intruders (the player stands with a sniper getting rid of intruding goons). Finally, Alex bids Gordon farewell by saying his dream is about to come true very soon. Gordon asks if Alex is joking. Alex laughs and leaves for Pino, without saying a word. Back in Pino, Alex is still finding it difficult to get Wallace on his own. Finally, he gets his chance as Wallace has to do a drug deal with some Arabians. Wallace has to go alone with only one person for company and he chooses Alex, as he is their hitman, for protection. Alex and Wallace drive there, but Alex stops halfway between in a dark alleyway. Wallace gets annoyed and says he is late for his business deal. Alex puts a gun to his forehead and says that he isn't going to do any more business. After much persuasion, Alex is told that Sharktooth's actual name is Don Agostino Sancchetti. He tells him that Don Sancchetti keeps moving and confesses that he didn't get information on his current location. However, Sancchetti's son, Sergio, has permanent residence in San Julio. Alex takes a deep breath, thanks him and then says goodbye, delivering a bullet to his forehead killing him. Alex tells John everything he knows, but comments that he still is missing the lead to Sancchetti's location. Assuming that getting to Sergio might help, they both leave for San Julio. Just before they leave, Alex calls Gordon Shinnigan and informs him that Wallace is dead, and hangs up the phone, dismissing further questions from him. Having done a good deal of infiltration into Sancchetti's yet unidentified crime organization, Alex found it easy to assume the identity of Edward Gould, Wallace's non-existent nephew and go to Sergio. Alex buys a luxury apartment in Downtown, San Julio with his newly earned money (Fifth safehouse). He explores a bit around the city and becomes fascinated by it's multicultural heritage. After settling himself well in San Julio, he contacts Vincent and gives him Sharktooth's real name and tells him to find as much as he can regarding it. Soon, he finds himself in front of Sergio Sancchetti's mansion, ready to introduce himself as Edward Gould and get into the inner side of the Sancchetti family. He meets Sergio, a man with overly-pronounced manly behaviour, and tells him that his 'uncle', Wallace, died in a car crash. Sergio feels sorry, and praises Wallace, saying that he was a great man (and all kinds of bullsh*t). Sergio offers Alex to work under him. Alex takes the job. Apparently, Sergio is in the hooker business and loves visiting clubs, parties and bars. Then he cruises through the whole city in his limo with a lot of champagne and women. In short, he was a spoilt brat and a very proudhead. Also a bit low on the IQ chart. And he makes Alex accompany him to all these places as his bodyguard. His fear is that his enemies might strike down on him while he is high and drunk. This comes true at one instance, when Alex had to drag his drunken ass to his sports car and take him home. On the way, they are ambushed and chased and attacked by a bunch of Asian goons, and Alex has to avoid their attacks and evade them before he reaches Sergio's mansion safely. The next day, Sergio calls Alex, frustrated, and tells him to kill a certain Chung Wong Lee, leader of The Raging Monkeys, a faction of the San Julio triads, the Chinese Mafia based in San Julio. Alex proceeds to kill Chun Wong Lee by ambushing a bunch of triad gang cars going through the city. Firing a rocket launcher at them, he manages to destroy a car, but Chun Lee gets out of another car and tries to escape on foot. Alex gives chase and finally corners Chun Lee in an abandoned inn. Lee keeps shooting threats at him and Alex is about to kill him, when suddenly a word slips out of Lee's tongue that stops him. On hearing clearly, Lee seems to be saying that he knows Mike Smith from Los Santos and that by killing Lee, he is answerable to Mike Smith. Alex lowers his shotgun, and instinctively, Lee pulls out a pistol and aims it at Alex. Being a good gunman, Alex smoothly shoots the gun out of Lee's hand and asks him how he knows Mike Smith. Lee tells him that he is an old friend and ally. Alex, in turn, tells him that Mike is his brother and close friend. Interested, Lee asks who sent Alex to kill him. Lee starts laughing uncontrollably after Alex tells him it was Sergio. Alex assures Lee that he is no ally of Sergio, and only works for him in order to get to his father, Agostino Sancchetti, who is in fact Sharktooth. Lee is surprised to find out that Alex knows so much. Alex requests him to lay low so he can tell Sergio that Lee is dead as that will help him get closer to Don Sancchetti. Lee agrees and asks Alex to visit him at his teashop in Chinatown, San Julio. As he leaves he calls Sergio a 'girly bastard'. Alex goes back to Sergio to report that Lee is dead. Alex visits Lee in his teashop and quickly learns that the San Julio triads, are an underground society from Hong Kong. The San Julio triads have three factions, the highest being The Sleeping Tigers, second being The Raging Monkeys run by Chun Lee, and a lower one, The Silent Monks, which runs a pawn shop in Chinatown, San Fierro. The Raging Monkeys are fighting a tough battle with a drug pushing Japanese gang, Imperial Soldiers. Alex, once again, finds himself in the middle of Gang Warfare between the Chinese and Japanese. He assists Lee in the best way he can in return for a favour Lee promises him. After helping Lee and The Raging Monkeys get a hold of San Julio, Alex thinks about his promised favour, while simultaneously doing Sergio's silly chores. Realizing that the San Julio triads have a large gangbase in San Julio, and quite a bit of hold in San Fierro, Alex asks Lee to keep his promise by helping Alex keep his promise to Paul Valgaras. Alex contacts Valgaras and Jacob Romero to come to San Julio and along with a lot of assisting triad members, Alex, Paul and Jake set out for San Fierro. After reaching San Fierro, they are received by members of The Silent Monks, who did a bit of snooping around and found out the location of André Mazzini's crime base. André Mazzini is currently inside his mansion off the western San Fierran coast. The only other stronghold André has is a meat factory. Deciding taking out Mazzini first would be easier, they arrive at his mansion. Together with a bunch of triads, Alex starts clearing the mansion of the rats inside it, one by one. After clearing the first floor, more Mazzini goons arrive which are taken care of by the triads. Paul and Alex charge forward taking out more goons as they go and reach the third floor where Mazzini is supposedly to be. Reaching Mazzini, Alex and Paul find that he is relaxing in his soundproof spa. Suddenly shaken by the commotion outside, he flees the place equipped with a towel on his body. Paul tries to give chase, but are interrupted by a another bunch of thugs. As Alex and Paul try to clear them out, Mazzini escapes on a helicopter. The triads waiting outside quickly follow the helicopter and call Alex saying he is headed for his meat factory. After clearing the last group of thugs, Alex arrives at the meat factory with Paul and Jake. They, along with the waiting triads, infiltrate and slowly take out the goons in the meat factory. Alex, Jake and Paul find Mazzini hiding in his office. Paul points the gun at a pleading Mazzini, takes in the scene for a moment, and shoots him right on his heart. Paul picks up his body, puts it over his shoulder (although his personality doesn't show this strength). Walking over to the mincing machine, he dumps the body into it. Mazzini's body goes down the machine, the machine jams up and stops with a bang. The triads take down the last remaining thugs. Everything goes quiet, and everyone savours the moment of victory. San Fierro being safe at last, Paul Valgaras, takes up residence in Mazzini's mansion (new safehouse) and thanks Alex for his faithful service. Jake also returns to his home in San Fierro. John, who is currently in San Julio, returns to his mansion as well. Alex, returns to his apartment in San Julio and continues to work for Sergio. A little later, John calls Alex and tells to come to his mansion as quickly as possible. Upon reaching, he learns that Vincent manages to scrounge up information on Agostino Sancchetti as instructed to him by Alex. Alex has mixed feelings of shock, anger and happiness when he hears that his mother is still alive and that his father's friend in Vice City, Joe Carrigan, betrayed them to Agostino in the first place. When Alex was off in prison, Joe sold his mother out onto the streets for money, as Agostino wanted the woman, whose son killed his best hitman, to suffer. John tells Alex that his mother was found begging on the streets of Vice City and the grave they visited was a fake set up by Joe Carrigan, and if Alex stayed in Vice City longer, he would've found her. Alex expresses a desire to crush Joe Carrigan, whom Alex highly respected until now. Vincent says that he anticipated this and sent someone to bring him to San Fierro. Just then, the phone rings and Vincent is informed that Joe is being dropped off on the San Fierro Dam. John says he is going to accompany Alex to the San Fierro Dam. Alex arrives on top of the dam for a waiting Joe Carrigan. Joe moves slowly towards Alex, but Alex takes out a pistol and points it to his forehead. Joe panics and innocently asks what is going on. Alex threatens Joe and demands him to tell him why he betrayed their family. Joe says Antonio kept pushing Joe around and suppressing his dreams. Alex retorts saying Antonio had always thought about Joe's good and it was Joe's foolishness that blinded him. Alex says he has nothing more to say and continues to point his gun at his forehead (Here the player has the choice of sparing him or killing him. If killed, Alex shoots him and kicks him off the high dam and if spared, Joe jumps off the high dam into the water below to escape, both of which make little difference. There is a chance he might survive the fall when spared, but it is very unlikely). They both leave the dam and Vincent calls Alex to inform him that his mother is waiting at Easter Bay International Airport. Alex and John drive to the airport, with Alex unable to contain a mixture of happiness and excitement. For the first time in 19 years, Alex sees his mother waiting, eager to see her son. Maria, with her body weakened a little, and hair greying with age, runs forward as they arrive. Alex and Maria exchange hugs and kisses, and let out tears of joy. They take her back to John's mansion (I don't need to tell you that this is also part of the same mission). Alex introduces John on the way, and explains, after getting to the mansion, that he is now rich and successful and knows some of the most influentual people in San Andreas. At first, he hesitates but later tells her that the man who killed Antonio is here in San Andreas and that's one of the reasons Alex came here. Maria objects to this and says she'd rather that Alex leave the past, but Alex insists on crumbling his past. He leaves her in the safety of John's mansion and leaves for San Julio once more. Upon arriving in San Julio, Alex learns from Sergio that Don Agostino Sancchetti is coming to San Julio. Excited, Alex waits for his moment. Upon the arrival of Don Sancchetti, Alex notices that he hasn't changed one bit, except maybe for some grey hair, and he was the same well-built, tall man with a devilish look in his eyes. Sergio, being an idiot, never notices but Agostino questions Alex about his latino complexion as Wallace Gould was a white. Alex replies his mother is a Mexican. Sancchetti also remarks Alex looks familiar but doesn't go deep into that matter. Soon, after doing some important errands (kill a few people, threaten a businessman to pay Sancchetti's share of the profit and blow up a government office building) for Agostino, he gets promoted from Sergio's employ to Agostino's employ. After accompanying the don to his different ventures through the city of San Julio, Alex realizes he has to make his move very soon because Don Sancchetti will be leaving San Julio. Meanwhile, discovering that Chun Wong Lee is alive, an outraged Sergio sends thugs to track down and kill Alex. Alex, in turn defeats all the thugs after him and goes after Sergio and kills him in his own mansion while Agostino is away. When Agostino returns, he is shocked to see that Alex has killed Sergio and greives his son's death. He sends his men after Alex and after much fighting and running, Alex is caught and taken to one of Agostino's shoe factories in San Cabrillo. Alex is brutally beaten up and is asked by a sad and angry Agostino why he killed Sancchetti's beloved son, Sergio. Alex manages a laugh in his bloodied up state and says that now Sancchetti understands how it feels when a family member is killed. Sancchetti doesn't understand what Alex is talking about. Alex tells he is here to avenge his father's death. Don Sancchetti says that he hasn't killed any brother of Wallace Gould. Alex laughs and states that he is no relation of Wallace, but also refuses to reveal his true identity. Don Sancchetti mocks him by saying that if the family members of every person he killed seeked revenge, a whole new state would be formed with the number of people. He further questions Alex, "Which father's son are you?" to which Alex gives no reply. Alex looks straight into Sancchetti's eyes and says, "Leave me now and I'll kill you in one piece. But if you delay it, I will kill so, that even your men won't be able to recognise your body". This sentence has such a powerful impact on Sancchetti that he stares at Alex, open mouthed for a few seconds. Then he orders his men to untie Alex and leaves them to deal with him, proceeding to his car waiting outside. Alex finishes all of them and gives chase on a helicopter on top of the the factory building. Alex chases Sancchetti's car through the city of San Cabrillo and the city of Pino, all the while avoiding Sancchetti's men chasing him in another helicopter. As Sancchetti enters into San Fierro from Pino, Alex lowers and crashes the helicopter into Sancchetti's car resulting in a huge explosion. Sancchetti and Alex jump out just in time and Sancchetti tries to escape on foot. Finally Alex corners him in an abandoned garage and a hand to hand melee fight takes place. After beating him up a bit and flooring him, Alex picks up a roll of barbed wire on the floor and ties a piece to Agostino's arm. He twists the arm holding the piece of wire. He takes another barbed wire and ties it to his other wrist and hangs it to a nail on the wall. He tears open Sancchetti's shirt, goes behind him and whips him with yet another piece of wire. Sancchetti's eyes widen with shock and realization (here the screen flashes a scene of Antonio's execution, showing that Sancchetti now remembers). Seeing his expression, Alex whispers in his ear from behind, "Now you know which father's son I am!" and with one sweeping motion puts the barbed wire around Sancchetti's throat, and tightens it, finally avenging his father and sister. Alex throws the tortured body of Don Agostino Sancchetti down on the floor and leaves the garage without looking back. Epilogue:- Alex returns to John's mansion to his mother. He vows never to set foot in the crime world again and decides to start a business. He settles down in San Julio in his luxury apartment with his mother, away from the street violence of Los Santos and Crime Underworld of San Fierro, even though he has many properties across the state of San Andreas. From killing Agostino Sancchetti, he gains ownership of the Sancchetti mansion in San Julio. He demolishes the old mansion and builds a park and memorial for those who lost lives in the hands of Don Sancchetti. It is now called San Antonio Memorial Park. Alex ocasionally stays in touch with his friends from Los Santos and San Fierro. But the friend he regularly visits is John Bronson. The duo, who did everything together, can be found on the Golden Sands Beach, relaxing and enjoying the sunset. Alex turns to John and asks him what he was itching to ask for ages, 'Why did you have to rob a bank?'. John laughs saying it's a long story, but after much persuasion, with the sun finally going down, starts his story - the adventures of another forgotten hero! NOTES: Yes, John's story is episodic content for GTA:WTTWC and I will do it if this get successful. Easter Eggs:- There are many Easter Eggs relating to previous GTAs and other games. Here are some known ones. 1) A picture of the Perestroika with Mikhail Faustin's custom Schafter parked in front of it can be seen in safehouses (see below). 2) The old garage that Don Sancchetti is killed in may be the same one CJ owns in GTA: San Andreas. 3) The friendship between Mike Smith and Chun Lee could indicate the frienship between CJ and Wu Zi Mu. 4) Carcer City - No comments!! I will add more features like safehouses, radio stations, TV, Internet, Businesses, Vehicles, Weapons etc. later. (they are all done, I won't post them to give people time to analyse the story) THANK YOU! GRACIAS! GRAZIE! MERCI! Seems a bit weird to change the name of the state This shows that you haven't read what I wrote!! States have been broken up and re - formed! So technically, yeah, the new cities were once part of another state.
Super Warmonkey
This has potential, although I don't like the breaking up of states. If you would take my advice, put only Las Venturas and a few other cities (NOT SF, LS) in a separate state. Because IRL LA, SF, and LV aren't in the same state. WDR
Tbh, the name Is pretty lame. So I you going to carry It on? Yes, I am going to carry on. But please, never judge a book by its cover. Also, never judge a game/story by its name. Edited August 3, 2010 by WDR
unknowngtafan
I agree the name is bad. its not really lame, just a bit to wordy in my opinion. maybe try GTA: West coast or something. Also i agree with you in not putting LV into SA again. It could also be that since the original SA took place, there has been rezoning going on in which LV was deemed part of a different state. Its been at least 25 years so its not out of the question

It depends on how people see it. i will be keeping an eye on this topic in the future. i like where this is goingcan you put out alittle more info on the other states and are you planning on making a map? Oh sh*t!! I completely forgot about the map!! I haven't planned it yet. But let's see how the rest goes and then I'll think of making one. Spaghetti Cat
Not really sure what I'm supposed to reply to.... I mean it's just two small paragraphs and a logo. Which, granted, is more than most people bother to do...but I don't know what your looking for. I like the idea of SA(or one of the cities) making a comeback, and hope and pray that it's neXt. Well I'll give it a shot... ...like you know a map would help. A weapons list would be nice, nothing over list-y or super technical, but a nice list of weapons. Some people are really into gangs, so you might want to include those. Music is always a nice addition to a neXt concept. And uh, some missions or story I guess. Probably missing a few there but its a good start. Try to start in WORD, or save it in your PM folder, so you can edit and add when you want. I like WORD b/c it catches spelling mistakes and such. That's it for now, if I think of anything else I'll post. This is a good start for a concept idea, wish you all the best! Every five seconds I hit refresh at the main page, the topic name does not change but the member name under it changes. What's the deal with that, man? EDIT: Matter will be up in the next 24 hours!! Kwandilibro
Just some advice, For the map, use the line tool for streets. And in LA, there's nowhere near as many Cubans as Mexicans.
GTA4Life22
not to sound like a pain but San Jose is a lot bigger than San Francisco by population. everyone seems to forget that.
patsfan4life
Yeah, but San Jose is not as recognizable, and doesn't have that many significant landmarks.
WDR
(Note: All the city descriptions are lightly based upon the real life cities but are rather my own interpretation and any resemblance other than name, location and monuments is purely coincidential) OH GOD!! Hasn't anyone read this sentence at the start of the cities' description? These are fictional cities with names and landmarks borrowed from the real cities! *forehead slapping* Other aspects are very much fake. As far as I know, Fresno County isn't such a tiny bit of land.
