vice-city-mobster
Back Story. Luca Fratelli’s father, Vincenzo Fratelli, was a reputed standover man and Mafia Assassin for the Gambetti crime family in Palermo, Sicily. He provided for his family with hundreds of euros every day. Luca, his mother and his little brother didn’t care much about Vincenzo’s occupation, because it was better than any other job that Vincenzo could get in Palermo. Everything was going good until assassins from a rival Mafia faction arrived out of nowhere one day while Luca was at school and murdered his mother, his little brother and his father. Luca was lucky enough to be taken in by the Don of the Gambetti family, Alberto Gambetti, who was a close friend of his father. Alberto arranges for Luca to get a passport and visa and travel to America as soon as possible. Luca expresses his interest in working for Alberto, but he is refused and told that he must go to America. Alberto then adds that if he still wants to work for him he can contact his son, Lenny Gambetti, who is an underboss in the Vice City organisation. Main story. Luca arrives at Escobar International airport, Vice City. He is mugged almost immediately and most of his money is taken apart from ten dollars in his left shoe. He uses a payphone and contacts Lenny. Lenny sends a limousine to pick Luca up from the airport and take him back to Lenny’s nightclub in the Red Light District. Luca is confused, wondering why Lenny owns and operates a club in the Red Light District when he is the underboss of the Vice City Organisation. Lenny tells him that he hasn’t been telling his father the truth about the Organisation’s real position on the Vice Commission. Luca promises Sonny that he’ll do anything to get the Organisation to the top. Lenny appreciates this and gives him a small room on the top floor of the club to sleep in.
