A topic in regards to crime

I know I'm not the only one who has these thoughts, but one problem I've always had with every GTA game as been the feeling of being the only dangerous criminal.

 

I know we have gangs, but what about just every day type of criminals? I remember in the old GTAs there used to be car jackers, and muggers. Those should be brought back.

 

Some things I would like to see in GTA Next in regards to crime.

 

-Armed hold ups/bank robberies. I think it would be cool if every now, and then you walk passed a gas station, store, bank etc, and you see criminals fleeing outside jumping into a get away vehicle after they've just robbed it, or if you're doing clothes shopping, or something every so often someone comes in to rob the place, and/or takes hostages. I'm fairly certain this was in SR.

 

-Random attacks on people. Lets say you're walking through a bad part of the neighborhood at night over in the distance you can see someone getting beaten badly by a group of thugs, or alternately you see small gangs intimidating peds.

 

-This one isn't really a physically crime as such, but you could see mafioso every so often park a car next to the water, and they get out to open the trunk. They get out a body bag with a body in it, and throw it into the water, with bricks weighing it down. A classic mafia cliche.

 

Any of you guys have some suggestions you would like to add?

Very good idea but im pretty sure they did have alittle carjacking in GTA 4 i swear i was parked on the side of the street and a guy jacked my car lol. But very good idea.

The mafia thing sounds interesting. But I agree with you 100%.
