[Q]Mods and stuff, can't get it working.

For some reason, I just can't seem to figure the crap out... I used to have it working but I just can't seem to get any luck with this since the reinstall. I've been trying just to get Simple Native and Ragdoll mod to work correctly, for my own single player amusement, but I guess I just fail at getting the correct files.

 

No, I'm not sure if I have the correct ASI Loader.

No, I'm not sure if I have the correct Scripthook

No, I'm not even sure if I'm putting the files in the right folder... but I doubt that's the problem.

I'm currently using GTA4 Vanilla, V1.0.7.0, No EFLC.

Running on Windows XP Home Edition

 

I downloaded(or at least thought I downloaded) the correct files for the ASI loader, Simple Native, and Ragdoll mod... but I'm completely unsuccessful in actually getting any of it to work... Posting on a forum is a last resort for me, but I guess I'm stupid in regards to this stuff, or just overlooking something.

 

The best help would just be a short list of the correct files to use, with a link to them. I have searched, but I just don't know which is which with all the version releases and everything.

 

If all of my questions here have already been answered, could someone just link me to them, I'd be fine if the topic was locked after that... or even if someone could just private message me or something.

get the latest simple native trainer( 6.0)

get the latest asi loader( for patch 6 or 7)

get the latest scripthook( can be found in codding section, use the scripthook by aru)

place the scripthook.dll and the asiloader( dssound.dll) in the gta 4 root folder ( rockstargames>gtaIV

after that download the simple native trainer from sjaak and extract trainer.asi and trainer.ini

DO NOT extract the scripthook and the files that have tbogt or tlad after the word trainer.

after that just play the game. tell me if it crashes or something.

and yes all the stuff i mentioned can be found on this forum.

Followed the instructions to the t, still nothin' happening in game... Is there a special launcher or command or something I need to have/do before the simple native commands will work? I've tried various listed commands from the simple native readme, none of which work, from trivials to vehicle spawns... The asilog.txt file says the stuff loaded.. I guess?

 

I used aru's most recent scripthook version, Alexander Blades dsound.dll asi loader, and simple native version 6, only the trainer.asi and trainer.ini files.

 

Still, nothing works
