Lithium
What is your favorite Jean Claude Van Damme movie? I would have to say that my favorite is The Quest, since it is full of action and fighting. Another few favorites would have to be Universal Soldier, Hard Target, and Double Team. All of these are really good movies in my opinion. The newest Universal Soldier movie was kind of sh*tty, but then again everyone is getting a lot older these days. Which movies of Van Dammes do you like? Edited August 2, 2010 by LithiuM_FirestorM
Otter
Can't believe you didn't mention Bloodsport or Kickboxer! Classic, terrible acting, awesome fighting. However, have you seen JCVD? Pretty damned cool movie where he actually plays himself, caught up in a bank heist. I saw the dubbed version, which detracted a lot from it. Be sure to watch it in French with subtitles. Don Garcia
And I can't believe you both forgot to mention Lionheart. A French Foreign Legion deserter turned underground bare-knuckle brawler. Classic.
Lithium
And I can't believe you both forgot to mention Lionheart. A French Foreign Legion deserter turned underground bare-knuckle brawler. Classic. Well I have seen them all (Lionheart included), but I just mentioned my immediate favorites. Is that the one with the sandman?

Andyzoot
Gotta throw in my support for JCVD. A really cool film and one that shows Van Damme is more than just roundhouse kicks. I mean, that monologue...wow. Great stuff. "Jean Claude Van Damme is robbing a bank!?" I love that line.
Don Garcia
Is that the one with the sandman? That would be Death Warrant, another Van Damme classic.
Lithium
Is that the one with the sandman? That would be Death Warrant, another Van Damme classic. Was sandman some type of supernatural, or was he just tough as f*ck? I don't remember that movie as good as I should, I just know Van Damme had a hard time with him. Moonshield
Bloodsport man. I mean, Tony Gibb AND Bolo Yeung? Gold. I still need to see JCVD though. But I love me some Jean-God Van Damme.
Creed Bratton
The Quest used to be my favorite movie when I was a kid and when JCVD was in demand. Every boy wanted to be tough like him. Most of my friends (me included) started training martial arts because of his movies. Remember that movie he did with Dennis Rodman?

MC.
Hard Target - classic brutal slomo action, and throw in some Lance Henriksen for good measure. Man, that was a good movie. Lance was amazing. I absolutely loved the action scenes in that movie. His right hand man, (I forgot his name but it's the main protagonist in The Mummy) was awesome. I liked the scene where he used that shotgun on the poor dude in the car.

I still can't believe John Woo directed that sh*t.

tuareg
Kickboxer, Double impact, Bloodsport, Knock off, Double team, Lionheart are my favourites. I've yet to see JCVD, but Legionnaire and especially Until death are both excellent and are more serious in tone.

Hell No..
Now matter how many times I see Bloodsport now, I can't help but wonder what it would of been like if he had to fight Jackson?
