I'm getting real bored of GTA these days, and I'd love to replay the best entry in the pokemon series (Gold) in a desperate attempt to hold onto my fast escaping childhood. BLlTZ Posted August 2, 2010 Share Posted August 2, 2010 I have more than 400 hours of playing on my Pokemon Ruby. This hours was when I didn't have a PC. And it worth it. Still keeps you entertained and putting you back to the old games 10-15 years ago - atmosphere. Heart Gold/Soul Silver is twice big because is new. You will need a half of year or more to complete everything. The games doesn't have an ending so is a continue game. It was more fun by staying on the bed with battery charger and playing for hours and specialy if you are outside, if you have a house or balcony. Playing and smell the fresh air. Compare with IV that after a moment you will just drive cars, shot, shot, shot on cops and people and much of it will not do. You just getting bored at some moment, because IV doesn't give so much things and the city is limited. If you are not so connected to IV game, maybe you will take Pokemon. If your PC can handle GTA4 then you will have no problems running JC2 (unless you have Windows XP). GTA4 didn't entertain me for a week and I still play a lot of JC2. You sir are sadly mistaken, to believe that the greatest Pokemon game is Platinum, when the greatest games are Heartgold and SouldSilver. Everything is better in the these games compared to Platinum: better music, better region, better starters, guy protagonist does not where beret, and better graphics. The only thing that got worst was the female protagonist. I politely disagree Platinum had the best 'graphics', which is why it was carried over to Heartgold and Soulsilver. The music was also fantabulous: It's.....beautiful . The region also had more variety than just grass grass grass. It was rockier, but much more varied and juxtaposed much more better. Look, think what you want about which game is better (opinions, afterall), but I will DEFEND THE MUSIC TOOTH AND NAIL IN D&P: It is THE best music in the series. Edited August 3, 2010 by E.A.B.
