how to get better at gta4 multiplayer?

yeah i suck on gta 4 multiplayer........ i usually have more deaths than my kills the most kills i got was around 5.. most deaths was 18 i think...how do i get better at gta 4 multiplayer? i usually go for the body armor when the game starts anybody have good tips? or tricks? tactics?

practice using r3 to aim for the head when you shoot, crouch when you can it increases accuracy play with high ranked players and watch their actions

M4 + Fast Fingers + Head shots = Result .........Always tap the trigger whilst shooting the faster the better !! Use the enviroment to your advantage any solid cover use to strafe in and out of..... Completly avoid crouching in the open as it makes you an easy target ........... avoid the temptation to plough players over in a car, this will only wprk against poor players with AA off, any decent disallow player will have you out of the car and any AA player will too.

Thers a million small things in this game which make a big difference.Like one of the guys said tap the trigger dont hold.Stop your car behind cover.Learn the range of your weapons.Each game type has different skills.My fav game type is TMW or MW which test all of the games skills.Driving, shooting and your knowlage of the city itself.Also when you are aiming up on disallow try to look in the direction first then bring up the aim.You can move the camera qucker when your not looking down the sights.Learn the sound which each weapon makes that way you can tell if you have an advantage or not.By advantage i mean distance.With Auto aim this is not as important but still has a say the kill or be killed way of things.Thats all for starters the rest is picked up just through experience.

 

Again it really depends on what game type you are playing.

above all just practise, I've been playing GTA online since it came out, and still now I am improving, its all about practise.
