9450392956
and except that which one was the best..... COZ am currently running on 1.0.7.
mkey82
OK, ignore that nigge character. 1. the best patch will probably be something like 1.0.4.0 as the latest ones have revamped the shadow system and performance suffers as result. If you want to install the older patch, you will have to reinstall the game. Link to the update is in my sig. 2. what kind of shadow problems so you have? 3. disappearing textures are probably caused by too high settings, try lowering them and see if it helps. You can also try memrestrict 4. stuttering is a common issue and usually you need more processing power to get around it. You can also try different GPU driver versions to see if that helps. 9450392956
I have shadow problems like whenever shadows are on med quality it appears to be moving or flickering..... So i turn off the shadows..... Will the ultimate performance tweak help me.... And the Ultimate graphics tweak... If both are same then please let me now...... Actually i am a noob here.... so can u please let me know everything which can be done to improve performance on my rig........ And i am reinstalling GTA 4 to get patch 1.0.4.0... And thanks
mkey82
Basically you don't need the Ultimate graphics tweak, it's outdated. Flickering shadows can sometimes be fixed with a different GPU driver version, but there are no guarantees.
9450392956
So can u please help me getting the best Ati drivers for GTA 4..........
mkey82
For me the best for GTAIV were 9.6 and 9.8, but that's for the 4000 series card. Here is the 32 bit Vista/7 driver archive http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/wind...iw_vista32.aspx
9450392956
And what about the HD 5600 series which were the best...

9450392956
Well thanks for your help..... And one more thing... Can u please tell me any graphic enhancements for GTA 4... Like the enbseries or Extreme graphics and realsm pack..... Can i use them to improve the graphics......
mkey82
Enb series lowers performance since it adds features. About all those tweaks I'm not sure which does what, but for any that boost performance you can be sure as hell they cut loads of features as well. OverTheBelow
I get roughly the same fps and I have a 5850. Problem does not lie with the card, we both have Core 2 Duos. Nothing you can really do about it except turn the view distance down. Edited August 3, 2010 by OverTheBelow
