I'd definitely like to see Tommy as a some kind of boss who gives me missions. But I'd like to play with a totally new character.

I think it would be really epic if you were to do missions for someone who works for Tommy Vercetti (bit like in GTA IV when working for Vlad, but he works for Mikhail) and you only hear his name mentioned a few times. Then during a mission, a rival gang/organisation could raid a drugs stash of some sort, then when you think your going to have to make a run for it or die, Tommy shows up, shooting a big assault rifle. (bit like how Scarface does his epic last scene)

 

I think that would be really memorable.

Although Tommy is a really cool character, I personally prefer Niko Bellic since as a character, he's been far well developed. Actually, the poll should've had checkboxes instead of radio buttons since picking a single character is really difficult !!!

My favorite is and probably always will be Tommy V. He's not too serious, and he has his funny moments. He was the first speaking GTA character. His voice also fits him, and if your familiar with mob films you'll recognize the voice

 

my least favorite has to be luis, i just couldnt like the guy

CJ's my favorite I'd say. His "cool" personality makes you feel more comfortable when your playing the game.

That seems about right. Kill people until you accidentally stumble upon the right target.

I always thought CJ was a huge hypocrite & the worst character with the whole killing but no dealing thing. I mean you don't mind dropping a fool wearing the wrong colors, but slinging drugs is a big no-no! Really, R*?

 

Anyways, fave MC is probably Tommy, Luis would be my second one, cause we both Dominican, favorite npc would be The Truth or Yusuf Amir.

A reference is not the same as a cameo or physical appearance.

 

He also doesn't show up in IV only his outfit and his name along with the other MCs in graffiti.

When is Claude mentioned in VC? We didn't even know he was name was Claude until SA.

 

Plus wouldn't you think he would be a little young to be a criminal in 1986?

Getting missions from Claude

 

*Protagonist walks up to door, knocks on it*

*Claude opens door, quickly hands protagonist note, then slams it in his face*

*fades back to game play as it shows protagonist reading the note*

Note: Go kill John Smith, he's at the red light district in a yellow blista compact.

 

After mission

 

*Protagonist calls Claude*

Protagonist: "You won't be hearing from you friend John no more."

Claude: *Grunt*

Protagonist: "Uhh ok, see you later"

*Hangs up*

 

 

But yeah I'd like to see Niko again. I doubt any of the last generation characters with reappear. And I'm surprised by the number of votes for CJ, I didn't like him he was a whinny and annoying.

As a massive San Andreas fan, it's hard for me to say this, but I think Tommy would be best to work for. Even though I would love it if you worked for CJ, I'd love Tommy's style that little tiny bit more, can't see it happening though, didn't Ray Liotta end on bad terms with R*? I'm sure I heard the same about the guy who voiced Niko too.
