DingiDong
Hey guys. I downloaded Kam's script for 3Ds Max that is supposed to make it possible to import San Andreas maps. I installed the plugin and extracted all the content from gta3.img into a folder. Now I can import individual .DFFs (also with Kam's script), but when I try to use the GTA_MAP_IO it says "-- No ""<"" function for OK". That's it, doesn't open up anything else than that error message. But I also have a "MAP IO" button on the menu to the right that came with Kam's all-in-one script - But even when I click that it says "Please re-install my map IO Script!", even though I did everything exactly as the instructions said. However when I started up 3Ds Max I automatically get this popup box with alot of different options (which also came with Kam's all-in-one), titled "GTA mapping tools v0.5b". I expand the first tab ("IO Control"), then choose the DFF path (the folder where I've extracted all the content from gta3.img) and then on the import section I press the 'IPL'-button and choose vegasW.ipl from C:\Program Files (x86)\Rockstar Games\GTA San Andreas\data\maps\vegas\ (as that is the map that I want) - And then after a few seconds I get this error message saying "-- Type error: Call needs function or class, got: undefined". Help is appreciated Thanks in advance.

When I choose the IPL 3Ds max stops responding :S Any help? I'm running on Windows 7. Thanks My 3DsMax used to crash whenever I clicked Material Editor and 3DsMax froze. So what I heard was it was because of my computer was weak and couldn't take the pressure or something. I didn't believe (or care) but that might be the reason for your 3dsmax freezing though. iLiR
Try xmen scripts. To import IPL in 3ds Max, go to: Run X Script Manager => X Importer => Import IPL 1) 2) 3) Select your dff folder then select your IPL file and click OK. A good thing about xmen scripts is because it can import as many dff's as you wish at once. Edited August 23, 2010 by ilir
Spider-Vice
NOTE: This script use KAMS DFF Import Script.IT's practically the same, you'll still need dff's and I find Kam's way better.
