Using two weapons

(I know someone will probably say that I should search this forum but I already did and the search function came up with lots of threads about completely different subjects)

 

 

So my question is: which guns can be dual-wielded? I know that the regular pistol and the uzi can be doubled when you reach hitman level but what about the other guns?

 

And another question: how can you reach hitman level quickly without cheating? I've heard some trick about using a car tire but I'm not sure.

Mac-10's, Tec-9's, 9mm, Sawn-off Shotgun.

 

I think those are the dual-wielding ones.

 

As for gaining hitman rank without cheating, constantly free-aim and shoot people or cars. Headshots and kills in general will help. The more bullets that hit a car, the faster your rank goes up.

just shoot cars over and and over til it's at hitman. or kill people.

 

Note: shooting a blown up, blackened car won't raise it.

So, get a big truck with a good armor rating and shoot it til it blows up, repeat.

I just killed peds and GSF around Ganton and saved when my wanted level got too high, shooting picket fences works too, there are alot in San Fierro.

Actually, you don't have to hit anything, you just have to shoot. I think hitting stuff makes it go up faster though.

The quick no cheat method is to park a vehicle in a garage. Shoot it until it explodes then allow the door to close, which repairs it.

Open the door again and repeat. Note: I did this at the Ganton Garage and eventually it wouldn't repair any vehicles (PC)

How 'bout shooting a Rhino? Will that work, seeing as it's bulletproof and all.

Haven't tried it. As the intent is to get the skill level as early in the game as possible, without cheating.

I'm now hitman level with the Tec-9 and the sawnoff shotgun after trying lil weasel's trick with the car in the garage.

 

While doing that I noticed something else: if you shoot at the car's hood it will take less bullets before it catches fire than when you shoot through the car's window into the back seat. In my case I could put an extra 4 to 6 bullets into the car before it cought fire. The whole process took me about half an hour.

 

Don't bother doing this with the regular shotgun or the AK47 though, since you'll get plenty of time to reach a high skill level with these during the mission where you save Sweet from the hotel (you get a free shotgun with lots of rounds for that after entering) and you're in the getaway car firing an AK47 at chasing policemen (the mission where in the end the car drives through the billboard).
