TheBlackProject
this is very interesting. You know im glad there are alot of members from around the world so that if they hear something they can post it on here. this is a good find. if it were me though, i wouldve approached them and asked, but then again they would probably keep quiet and you would never have heard anything. also did they change the V in gtaV.net again? Yes they did, it's green now. Also, I forgot to mention that all of those guys live in San Francisco and not in Houston, apparently they were having an argument on whether or not they wanted to move into the core city of SF rather than around it. I don't know what exactly they were doing in Houston, I am not sure if Texas exactly is in the South even though we have strong Southern culture, and little Southern dialects we use such as "ya'll". But even if it may or may not give the news we want for GTA NexT, it's good to share a story. Plus, they also were having a girlish poor method of communication a sec "Yeah, I'll be thinking about the next; yeah... right right. You know, I'll be thinking about the next one that may be out around 2013, we need to put in kind of like a mid-west and Texas voice combined. I hope Matt listens to us." He was talking about the next GTA already, damn haha. I think that is all they said after I came in the store though. Interesting conversation to listen to. The-King
You live in Tehran, what the f*ck were you doing in Houston? I'm pretty sure there are some god-awful intensive travel restrictions on Iran. You know, considering the fact that our government more or less considers Iran an enemy state. We're not just going to let Iranians into our country all willy-nilly so they can go on vacation, and on that note, who the f*ck goes to Houston of all places on vacation? I just put on that flag because I'm an Iranian-American, and what is up with your problem of Iranian immigrants entering this country anyway? They won't let us go "willy-nilly"? I think you got your information wrong my friend. The mayor of Beverly Hills is Iranian, there's a place called Little Persia in Los Angeles, and if they won't let us go willy-nilly, then why the f*ck are there so many Persian restaurants all over California? Even the sh*tty city I live in Houston has them too. That is quite ignorant of you.

The-King
Oh noes, I made an educated assumption, f*cking shoot me. How the f*ck was I supposed to know you lived in Houston? You put Tehran, Iran as your location, which seems like a pretty f*cking stupid thing to do for someone edgy enough jump the gun like you did and start declaring me a racist for no reason. There's a huge difference between an immigrant and someone on vacation, and considering the fact that Iran's only became a notably hostile nation in recent years, as well as the supposed home to multiple terrorist/rebel groups one would come to the conclusion that travel to and from the aforementioned country would be heavily regulated, and restricted. Your edginess tells me that you're hiding somethingl. No-one normal jumps the gun like that unless they're trying to conceal something personally damaging. Okay, I have Iranian descent so what? Educated guess my ass, this is why I always see Americans being against GTA locations in Europe, because they listen to their politicians and fags. God damn it, Rockstar is constantly making fun of American culture. The fatass cops eating donuts, the sugar in Sprite, chemicals in Burger King's food, etc etc. Yet you are putting your own thoughts of another country which you do not know sh*t about, and you're complaining that I never posted I'm from Houston in the first place.. so what do you want me to do, TICKLE YOU? If you think the stuff I'm saying is bullsh*t, go somewhere else like thegtaplace and gtatv, where everybody is perfect and patriotic Americans chant U.S.A, because "all other countries can go to hell". Where are you bringing your misleading information from? "Iran is a terrorist state", that is completely misguided. Maybe take out that Bill O' Reilly out of your wet vagina and start listening to some real American news, not some Jewish controlled foreign f*cking media. I assume that you consider the riots in Iran as "terrorist activities", if you don't know yet, we are fighting for FREEDOM. Iran isn't "the typical Middle-Eastern country" like Jackf*ckistan and all those other countries that will never be ahead. 60% of Iran is Atheist and want to assassinate the leader, and so do I. Once again, don't start quoting lines from Bill O' Riley or Larry King. Why would I make up some story to bullsh*t you? MrcTOtheJ
@ TheBlackProject Not all Americans are like Bill O' Reilly and are ignorant pricks (I'm not saying The-King is ethier as I have no beff with him, nor am I defending him) and don't like other countries, actually I'm one of the few Americans to support a GTA out side of the US. Anyhow back on topic, I wonder why they where in Houston researching ascents, I've never been there, how culturally diverse is it? From the sounds of it, it sounds relativity diverse. Rucke
Why haven't I thought of Houston before. It's the forth largest city in America after New York, Los Angeles and Chicago. Plus GTA hasn't been in Texas before. If this is true, then it's great! Crime in Houston (from Wikipedia) Houston's murder rate ranked 46th of U.S. cities with a population over 250,000 in 2005 (per capita rate of 16.3 murders per 100,000 population). The city's murder rate was ranked in 2005 to be 3rd among U.S. cities with a population of over 1,000,000. This ranking could be higher as KHOU-TV found the Houston Police Department under-counted 2005 homicides; counting two more would have bumped up the rate to second place. While nonviolent crime in the city dropped by 2 percent in 2005 compared to 2004, homicides rose by 23.5 percent. Since 2005, Houston has experienced a significant rise in crime, which the Houston Police Department partly attributed to an influx of people from New Orleans following Hurricane Katrina. After Katrina, Houston's murder rate increased 70 percent in November and December 2005 compared to levels in 2004. The city recorded 336 murders in 2005, compared to 272 in 2004. Houston's homicide rate per 100,000 residents increased from 16.33 in 2005 to 17.24 in 2006. The number of murders in the city increased to 379 in 2006. The The Times-Picayune disputed that Katrina evacuees were to blame for the rise in crime, citing statistics that crime was rising in Houston before their arrival. City officials claimed that though the majority of evacuees were law-abiding citizens, and noted that Houston's population swelled by 10 percent "virtually overnight," reducing the ratio of police officers to citizens. A 2010 study published in the Journal of Criminal Justice also disputed the assertion that Katrina Evacuees were the cause of rising crime in Houston. Houston, due to its size and proximity to major illegal drug exporting nations, is a significant hub for trafficking of cocaine, marijuana, heroin, MDMA, and methamphetamine. In 2007, Houston ranked first for auto-theft in the state of Texas when more than 31,000 motor vehicles were stolen in the metropolitan area. In 2010, the area within Houston with the least amounts of crime incidents was at the intersection of Westheimer Road and Texas State Highway 6. In the early 1970s, Houston, Pasadena and several coastal towns were the site of the 'Houston Mass Murders' which at the time were the worst case of serial killing in American history. Frankly, I agree with this guy. I just found the whole thing a bit hard to believe. How many of us will ever bump into R* employees? And if they are discussing the aspects of GTA V, shouldn't they go to a more private area "cough"conference room"cough" where they will be less likely to be eavesdropped. wesley123
So I am assuming that he's trying to say that the next game (speaking of the word 'again') the game will be in Vice City. Jeez that assumption is plain bullsh*t, dude is there any link in his words to Vice City? nope, and even if there was your assumption would be wrong, look at the context 'so why not do a mid-west accent so we don't do the same sh*t again' i dont see the link to vice city there. They are talking about an accent, and Vice City is based on Miami, wich is east. So even if this is a link it would rather be a link to las venturas or something, wich is actually mid-west like said. Well, your story is cool to read, but we really dont know anything, as we dont know the whole story around it, with these words we can only guess. And another thing, what are they even oing in houston? Im sure there isnt an r* office in that city?

crackdawg
Yeah! Finally some real information. Not like that Hollywood bullsh*t there was a few days ago. That "sh*t" was witnessed by a lot of people, one a staff member. This was witnessed by a random guy who keys in a name in a lot of GTA manuals and on websites in credits. Also it's funny they were talking about info that the company protects with biometrics and RSA fobs in house..in a convenient store... The late 20s early 30s yuppie part sounds accurate though.. Cojage
I'm calling bs on this. sounds bizzarely coincidental Yeah exactly lol. What is R* doing in Houston? At the same Jamba Juice at the exact same time a gamer and member from GTAF is there? But his writing style and the fact that a guy named Matt is actually the lead audio guy at R*, well, maybe he did a bit of research but it's believable. But still, I don't think seeing how protective they are that R* are just going to a public place and sit around talking about detail of the upcoming GTA. So for now, I don't quite believe it. maxopower
Sorry but I can't believe this. Very interesting and coincidental. Maybe it is a hint towards Vice City. Yeah! Finally some real information. Not like that Hollywood bullsh*t there was a few days ago. ------ That's awesome. And for anyone who thinks this is fake, well, I don't really see how anyone could come up with this story. No I know it's wired but this happens all the time. One guy claimed he worked at a hotel in Miami, and had seen some R* staff going around researching. And then theres lots of guys calming to have spotted Rockstar cars around the world.
