Chasing dimitry with heli

gta 4 is a great game. I really enjoy it to play.

But on this mission with the heli, where you chase dimitry

i cant come on !!

I tried it 24 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! times

i am not able to accomplish it .

this dammmit heli is always getting down .

i cant hold it up.

else dimitry gets away

what can i do ?

i already start to hate gta .

only because of this one crap, sh*t unneccesary mission.

As soon as you have climbed aboard, press escape, which will pause the game and look at the map. You probably won't be able to see Dimitri's chopper at the start, but this will help you work out where he is relative to yourself. Head straight towards him when you unpause, or you may fail pretty quick.

 

There is a bug on the PC version where sometimes the camera doesn't adjust direction. If this happens switch to first person view.

 

Try not to fly in a direct line behind him or you are more likely to be hit by a rocket.

 

You don't need to shoot at him at all - just follow him.

 

You can't fly too high or it will say you have lost him, so you need to be confident flying close to buidlings. Steal a chopper from the helitours pad and practice flying between tall buildings in Algonquin. This will give you more time to get good in a situation where you can't fail a mission. You don't need to use the turn keys that much to begin with (although they do help when you get good). Just use the bank keys, up, down and pitch forwards, backwards to begin with to keep things simple until you improve.
