Niko has emotions

I've noticed Niko can be angry or calm. His face differs and dialogue does as well. A few ways to make Niko angry:

Die. When you respawn at the hospital take a look at his face. He will look pissed.

Get busted.

Get carjacked. Punch a taxi, get back into your car and the driver will take you out of your car.

Have low health.

I prefer it when he's pissed, he will swear more and gives you more incentive to kill everyone. When pissed, run into people and Niko will say "GTFO my way". Fist fight and Niko will say "STAY THE F*CK DOWN". Point guns at his people, shoot people, run over people etc.

I wish there was a cheat to make Niko angry whenever you want.

I think Nikos best trait is his sarcasm. I love the jokes he cracks all the time.

United Liberty Paper: "You think I don't know that? You think I've been sitting around scratching my balls with my head up my ass?"

Niko Bellic: "I'd be impressed if you had been."

We all know that Niko has emotions, he is the most dynamic protagonist of GTA yet, Claude was an empty shell compared to Niko.

Using the push button when you walk into people always seems to bring out the angry Niko.

Vlad always seems to get him going as well. Those two do not get along. lol.gif

Niko has emotions, but does Claude has emotions? I think he has, but he doesn't like to show them!!! inlove.gif

One of my favorite emotional remarks was when I strolled up to the Infernus on Stevie's List and Niko says"God must really hate you." right before I break the window and jack the ride.

The owner is whom I figure he was referring to.

Niko also gets angry whenever there is a wanted level. Also...

That could be possible to script. AFAIK, there is a native function to toggle the angry state. turn.gif

Nikos personality is great, but soon we'll have someone in here calling him emo, it's inevitable...

The only true wisdom is in knowing you know nothing.

The first time I noticed Niko's facial expression change depending on the situation I was simply in awe.

The thing I like about Niko is when he's angry, or sad you can actually feel it. In the past when protagonists tried showing their emotions whether it was anger, happiness, sadness etc IMO it just felt very artificial.

People say Niko is an emo, and hates to kill people, but that's just a lie. Pay close attention to GTA IV's story, and while Niko is more assertive, and cautious he's certainly not as bad as he's made out to be.

You would think he slashes his wrists, and drinks 5 bottles of whisky every time he kills someone the way some people on here describe him.

The way R* made Niko so dynamic is brilliant. I just hope GTA Next's protagonist is a complex/human like if not than than Niko is.

That means "as far as I know".

I agree that Niko is the most interesting protagonist in the series so far. He's as much of an immoral bastard as he has to be to be a protagonist in a Grand Theft Auto game, but not quite so much that you can't feel for him. He's definitely one of my favourite anti-heroes in media.

As he himself said to Ilyena Faustin: "During the war I did bad things, and after the war and I thought nothing of doing bad things", yet he has remorse, most apparent when something spurs him to look at himself and think about who he is, and you see that haunted look in his eyes. sad.gif

Yep. Niko has some very dynamic emotions. I think we all know that, that's one of the best things about the game storywise.

No. He will remain angry forever and grow more angry over time until he collapses into a hyper dense anger singularity.

Have him eat or drink something.

As well as eating or drinking if you just wait a couple of minutes after the thing that annoyed him happened (being killed/arrested, failing a mission, being wanted - actually he might turn calm again as soon as he loses his wanted level, not sure) he'll go back to calm.

It's simple.

To calm him down just go bowling with Roman so he can bowl like an angel.
