Lithium
What would you do if you won the lottery?? Say the lotto was going for $50 million dollars (in whichever currency your country has), what would you buy? My list is as follows: -Hummer (not one of the new ones, but an older original Hummer) -Brand new mansion with everything you can think of in it (indoor swimming pool, tennis courts, bowling alley, arcade, gym, theatre, 6 bay garage etc...) -A maid and butler to clean up after me. -Tons of ATV's and vehicles. Thats about all I can think of right now. Also, I'm sure I would invest some money. Post what you would get if you won this much money. (sorry if some people think this topic is stupid, but I think it's pretty fun.)
mr_bungle
I've always thought about this, as I'm sure nearly everybody has. And too me and I can't really make up a decision what I would like, nor can I make a list. Because my options are pretty much limitless. But I'd definitely buy a new car, preferably a Legacy and a new home.
King Kapone
I'd buy a piece of land out west, at least 100 acres worth.. and build myself a home. Everything else would come to me as time went by.
Kaj.
A Subaru WRX STI for our wonderful Canadian winters. An Aston Martin DB9 for the rainy days. A BMW M5 for road trips. A Ferrari 458 Italia for the fun driving days. And try my hardest to get a Alfa Romeo 8C Spider for the sunny days. After that, a nice house (not a mansion, I don't need that much space) a big garage, and whatever else I may want.
Tyler
This is quite a question man. I will answer this as honestly as possible for ya. A Private single engine plane to take me on regular trips from here to Bolivia. A plantation of cocoa plants and a small group of "Forced Workers" and armed watchmen to go with it. The Processing equipment to do what I need to do (I think you know by now). Of course I cannot forget paying off local policemen to not go around my area of town, as to conduct busniess easier. Over time as I gain money from my entrepreneur venues I will buy a small arsenal to arm some men to take any surrounding "Businesses" in the name of my cause. In time once more, I would eventually rise up in this world and purchase some Iranian farmers to grow some local plants for me to cultivate as I see fit. I would then start a new empire in all Major cities of trade and become one of the richest men alive. ______________________ Or, I would just buy a house in a villa in Italy and spend my days in peace
anus
I'd build my folks a comfy new house, two cars, whatever they need, build myself a comfy house with a complete gaming room with an insane PC, buy a car, get an outdoor all natural organic grow going for all my 'special' plants, buy basic stuff (like clothes, etc). Over here I should be able to do all that VERY easily for $20 mil or less. From the remaining $30 mil, I'd invest $10 mil in shares so I get returns on them and everything that remains, I'll donate to charity and Hindu organisations. King Kapone
Oh and I'd buy GTAF a new server. With less errors.
AnthMUFC-Champs
Everyone has obviously thought about this but mine would be: Buy a nice mansion in four locations which are Manchester, LA, Miami and NYC. Give some to charity. Give some to my family. Buy a few nice cars. Get helicopter training and buy a luxury one for me. That's all i can think of for now. Xboxless
INVEST, INVEST, INVEST, INVEST! So that I can be even richer later on. Of course after I spend a little bit on something else, can't think of what to buy though. Might throw a little bit at Norml too, you know for the cause. The-King
First off I'd pay off the loans for the one year of college I've attended, then set myself up with a $10,000 or so gaming rig. Quad SLI GTX 485's, etc. Once I got that all together I'd probably ditch my Mazda GLC for a mid 2000s BMW M3 (preferably a CSL if I could find one) and a brand new Audi A4/A8. Next I'd probably buy a large house in a nice either coastal or forested area for me, my parents and grandparents. Of course furniture after that. Then I'd invest in a proper education and use my money to get myself a job with a respected game developer. (Mhmm, bribery) The rest would be history. |PropagandaIncorporated:|: Steam:|: DeviantArt:|: Last.FM|

Hmmm nice bike
Well, if I wanted to live the high life after winning the lotto, I'd have a: luxury condo here in Chicago on the top floor of the Trump Tower mansion in LA private ket to bring me back and forth across all of my places, as well as frequent trips to the UK and New York new luxury sedan the newest and most advanced electronics (computers, game consoles, TVs, etc.) a jacuzzi A private coffee shop in my mansion Of course, I'd give some to my family, and I'd use the to live off of, with the occasional indulgences (I'd still have a job, though, just to earn some extra on the side)
Punk-in-Drublic
First things first I wouldnt go round flaunting it like a nob head. Money doesen't bring you happiness. But I would buy a fairly nice house (Not a massive mansion but a fairly big house). I would then put some money into a savings account to keep me financially stable and enough to have a good life. Most of the money would go to some sort of charities and wquite alot towards putting gigs on and promoting underground gigs in my local punk scene. Oh and the rest towards alcohol and drugs obviously.

Ronnyboy
I'd save it up in a large savings account, invest half into new endeavors of the stock market and buy my dreams (cars, house, every unknown game system to man), and live a nice peaceful life. ghost of delete key
I'd buy GTAF, pay Tank a nice pension, and kick all you n00bs out. And by n00bs, I mean Admin. Seriously? I dunno. Maybe buy an awesome football team and run it into the dirt for the lulz. Icarus
Thats about all you could buy once the Government is done taxing your winnings. That's why I love Canada. The Canada Revenue Agency can't touch your lottery winnings because in our tax code, lottery winnings are exempt from taxes. That's why I feel bad for the people who win big in the United States; after the IRS takes their cut, there's not much left. Personally, if I won $50 million (like the Lotto Max draw that is tomorrow), I would probably buy a nice condominium downtown and get myself a nice television and set up an awesome bachelor pad. As well, I would also buy myself a car; nothing overly fancy, just something that works and gets me from point A to point B. I'd give some to my grandparents and immediate family since they spent thousands upon thousands raising me, so I should give back to them. I would still continue with my education and get my M.Sc. and after that, I would likely do some more world travelling. Lastly, I would invest into an account that grew with interest so as to accumulate more money. If you only had an interest rate of 1% annually and deposited, say, $40 million, that's $400,000 the first year which is no small chunk of change. Kwandilibro
I hope never to win the lotto, since it causes to many problems and makes it very easy to go broke. But if for some reason I did win, I'd give maybe half away, blow a good fifth on bullsh*t, start some kind of business, and sit and relax for the rest of my life. I really can't think of anything important to spend 50 mil on(assuming you won at least 100 so you get at least 50 after taxes)
King Kapone
I'd also bring about $150,000 with me to a one-on-one meeting with Gene Simmons and have him tell me financial advice.
