How big?

+1 for the truth. There are benefits for a big map when it comes to exploring, but in general I think most are a pain in the ass when it comes to some missions.

 

It would probably be less painful now that we have mission replay though.

really?if you are playing a mission, and you have already been on the road for an hour, thne you fial it. you will have to come back to your start mission point, another hour, and start it over. too much time waste

maybe for missions, if you die or get into some bizarre accident, it can be like RDR when you start from checkpoint.?? maybe i don't know....

well so far most people want san andreas or bigger so i quess big maps are good idea. i agree. san andreas was the funnest becuase of tis big map and jetpacks

yes me too. if the game was just multiplayer, with no missions, then i wouldnt care of size of map. the bigger, the better

GTA IV's Liberty City is so not 8 square miles, the city itself is 468 square miles so there's no way that Liberty City is that tiny. Bohan (a.k.a The Bronx in real life) is only 42 square miles, so I have no idea where you are bringing your information from.
