raveneyes
Hi, I am finally in the last level of this game and facing a seemingly queer problem . Whenever I reach the second last floor of the building after finishing off Big Smoke and enjoying a lovely encounter with Tenpenny, my game gets horribly slow in all that haze and smoke from the fire. So much so that I find it extremely difficulty to move a millimeter, let alone aim and shoot at my enemies. Mere turning and moving on seems a Herculean task . The result is that I get shot at countinously and die, while I am helplessly stuck to one place unable to move well . Why is this is happening? What should I do? lil weasel
With all the information you didn't tell us, it should be easy? to find a fix. Before going too far, as a lot of time is wasted on trying to fix a no-fix situation: Are you playing the game with the Original DVD in the Drive? You are not trying to use a No-CD program or crack. If you Downloaded your game: is it from other than Direct2Drive or SteamPower.com? When posting a problem, be sure to include the following information about your computer: Operating system (Windows users: be sure to mention if you have XP or Vista, and which Service Pack you have) Video/Graphics card type and how much dedicated graphics memory Processor RAM (random access memory) This may help to identify the problemI Also f you have installed mods, search or post a topic in the MODDING forum Next: Turn off the Frame Limiter, you could also delete the GTA_SA.set file
raveneyes
I tried with the frame limiter turned off too, it does not help. Edited July 29, 2010 by raveneyes

JAJ
Sometimes the game files get corrupted. When my game acted like you just described I uninstalled the game & then installed it again. It cured the problem for me. If you do this, be sure to indicate during the uninstall that you do not want to get rid of your saves. In fact it might be wise to make a copy of them before doing an uninstall. Hope this helps.

Xenon128
And you didn't specify your graphics memory. Having only an integrated (on-board) adapter can slow the game down so much, and maybe that is the problem you have, I have to guess.
Shark_Cipriani
What are your graphic settings ingame? Did you try turning off the anti aliasing?
AlfieWilRus
I had the same problem. My solution was to turn down the "Visual Effects Quality" down to low. That should make it back to normal but if it doesn't try putting on the lowest resolution for that part and then when you get out of the crack den put it back to your normal settings. Hope this helps!
