I don't think it's taken from a GTA game, look at the clouds, they're not really like that.

note the palm trees in the background defenitly not liberty city. or carcer city.

it is possible of two places that have palm trees- sna nadreas, and vice city. but the palm tree is on a hill, and vice city is very flat. so it might be san andreas. or who knows, maybe its a vice state idk.

I know this has nothing to do with that whole ad, but I'm saying maybe if we find this building somewhere, it may give a clue as to why it was incorporated into the logo. But also, just like the tear in the ad, it could just lead to nothing and was just put there to fill space.

 

EDIT: @ Sgt_Tricore, the image in the tear of the ad was just a portion of another advertisement stuck there of an erupting volcano that resembled a penis.

I know for sure that we're on a need to know basis about the future of GTA. Since GTAF is the largest GTA forum out there, it wouldn't be absurd for R* to give bits and pieces of info to the admins, who then would give even less info to the global mods, and we all basically get some logo with a picture that we can't identify.

Most likely the admin that created the site.

 

There's also a chance that some solid info could pop up on some random GTA site, but giving info here seems to be a better idea.

Also, GTA Advance wasn't made by Rockstar or DMA... And Rockstar Lincoln was Tarantula Studios prior to its acquisition.
