Where is the blue?

I'm starting to think what Stefche said on the previous page, how could a tree cause us so much?

Well guys, I'm seriously running out of all ideas here. This is the closest I've ever came to finding this godforsaken picture:

Papoose Flat in Inyo National Forest, California......this is my best guess, because the rocks and mountain seem to match up a little bit. If only I could find a decent angle to be sure:

Also, I've been taking into account that the tree might hold some kind of significance so I found this while searching in Nevada. It's a tree that people have thrown shoes up into for years.....I think it's about 20 miles east of Fallon, Nevada on Highway 50:

Apparently, there are a few of these things in the the American Southwest

 

They haven't updated the "V" yet again, so I'm assuming they're just going to leave this whole debacle a big mystery.....much like aliens.

Hi everybody! Ignoring the hunt for that tree, has anything else happened today?

I talked my friends Elvis and Tupac into going into the woods to search for Bigfoot, but once we got there the yetti scared us away. From there we went down to the finger-less gloves store. Tupac wanted to pick up this hooker named Lola along the way, but Elvis talked him out of it...maybe the lady didn't like being haggled with I suppose. From there we went to the lake and caught the Lock Ness Monster, but he was underweight, so we had to throw him back. Now I think we're going to find the little alien who's been pooping in Elvis's yard.

 

 

But when I told them about this tree, they all thought I was crazy!

Aman, this thread was a waste of time, waste of space, waste of brain power. Now what if we all spent this much effort trying to solve a REAL problem instead of some changing picture?
