Look!

The V isn't blue anymore. It's blue again... move on...

 

The V at the top of this sub-forum has been blue/pink for quit sometime but after a while it changed to green, the quote below sums up the whole adventure.

 

 

 

On July 29th, 2010, the V inside of the GTAV.net logo began changing in color.

Inside of the colored border of the V was what appeared to be an image.

A thread was started on the subject at GTAForums.com, and soon people from

all around the world was trying to find the picture hidden within the V.

 

Once the first image was found, the logo changed again.

People continued the search for the images inside of the V,

and new images are still appearing inside of the logo.

 

As it's known that GTAnet admins have good contact with Rockstar Games,

this led people to believe that the changing V is giving hints towards GTA V.

People believe that it might be leading us towards the location of the next GTA.

One or two mods here have a direct link to Rockstar, I'm sure of it. I doubt they've told them any details, not even the setting. They're far too secretive for that. But it wouldn't shock me if the change of colour was directly influenced by something a Rockstar rep had told them.

Seriously, they didn't just do this for sh*ts and giggles. They did it for a reason. And don't believe them if they say otherwise, you really think they'd give the game away?

This is not a meaningless gesture, it's a hint. Or perhaps a red...or maybe a pink herring.

But from first impressions it does seem to indicate that Vice City will be next.

I wasn't here when it was NeXt, so I can't really speak on that. But I always assumed that since IV was the last game, most people impulsively assume that the next game will be called GTA V. So naming your forum that would attract more attenion, since people would be searching it.

This is already the most popular GTA site out there. So I doubt that was their reasoning.

Stop thinking so pratically, I doubt this was done for any cold, logical reason like advertising. They knew how we would take this gesture, that alone should indicate that they are trying to tell us something.

This is getting interesting. Something tells me that we're going to see some sort of announcement soon... maybe within two months or so.

Ain't nothing quite like waiting for a new GTA. I can hardly wait for the first trailer, and the total dissection down to the smallest detail of it.
