Deadly Cargo

Part 1

 

My target was Boris Deruzhka, he was that arms smuggler media talked about, a lot. He was trying to get his hands on a nuclear device. I was hired to stop him...

 

I was right behind him, getting ready to finish his miserable life. He was doing cocaine, while slowly, my wire was moving towards his neck, ready to end

him. Right before I started to strangle him, I heard loud gunshots, from outside. I knew that his mindless sailors would come and report, so I had to finish him quick. Few seconds of helpless struggling and already he was dead. I heard more gunshots, I didn't know where were they coming and why. I quickly hid Boris' dead body into the closet in his room and stood behind the door what was about to open. When one of the sailors walked into the room, I grabbed his neck and broke it.

 

I sneaked out of the room quickly, but when I opened the main door to outside I knew where were the gunshots coming from. SWAT was attacking the ship to get the nuclear device from Boris and the sailors were defending it with their lives, without knowing that their leader is dead. I was between their battle and everybody were my enemy. I ran quickly back inside and went to the lower decks to check on the device. I saw the nuclear container right away. Unfortunately it was empty. I heard more shots and footsteps approaching me. I quickly hid behind another container. I saw 4 or 5 heavily armed SWAT members walking into the room. I had to take them down, because there was no other way out. I shot them all and walked towards the door...

2 weeks later

 

I woke up in a grimey basement, with no clue where I was. My suit was bloody and my tie missing. I was lying on the ground, my scratched PDA infront of me. It's battery on low and screen broken. There was a message on it

"Get out of there, it was a setup. You killed a fake target. The real Boris is on his way to moscow, with the nuclear device. The SWAT is after you, not the bomb. -Diana."

"Recieved 2 weeks ago."

"What? I was blacked out for 2 weeks?"

 

I tried to contact Diana, got no response. "No signal here, damn"

 

I couldn't remember what happened in past weeks. I had to contact the Agency and get updates. But first, I had to get out of this place. The room was empty and cold. Only few boxes in the corner. There were blood stains on the cold floor. All of my weapons have taken away, I knew I had to improvise. I buttoned up my dirty suit and started search for some weapons. I found my tie under one of the boxes. That was everything useful I could found in that room. Then I approached to the big metal door, which was the only exit from the room. It appeared to be locked on another side with a padlock. Getting the door open seemed impossible, but luckily a guard was coming into the room to check on me. He opened the door, I stayed behind it. He slowly walked into the room, while I sneaked outside and locked the door. Luckily the doors were soundproof and no screaming was heard.

 

I walked upstairs, to the first floor, to see what's going on and where I excatly am. There were long choridors and

 

many doors. The place looked like a hotel. I saw a door that was half open, I could see a laptop on the table. I sneaked in and locked the door. I accessed the internet and found out that I'm in Nordhorn, Germany. I also found out that the place was, actually a hotel. I was one of the taken rooms. I tried to contact the Agency.

 

"Agency, this is 47 speaking, put Diana on please"

 

"47, this is Diana. Where have you been these last weeks?"

 

"I, I don't know. I was held unconscious in a hotel basement. Any updates? Where is Boris Deruzhka?"

 

"Yes, he is currently at Moscow with his personal army. Trying to take over the city threatening to blow up the nuclear bomb he got."

 

"Okay, I'm trying to figure out what happened in Rotterdam and how did I got here. Was there any security cameras on the ship?"

 

"Hmm...Yes, there were. I'll try to get all the footage from the ship cam... Meanwhile, enjoy your flight to the Moscow. Tomorrow, 12AM at Reisezentrum Airport. And check the local post office for your new equipment."

 

And the call was canceled. I went to the bathroom, washed up my dirty clothes and cleaned my face from the blood. Soon after that I heard loud knocking on the door. It was a security guard coming here for the reports of the room owner. I let him in, with no reasonable explanation why was I locked in a taken room I had to strangle him with my tie.

 

Yes, this is based on Hitman, actually the beginning is based on an altered version of a certain mission in Hitman: Contracts. Props to those who recognize it.

Also this is my first writing here/ever, so can you please give me tips and critisism?

Try Extending your description of the environment and story better. I like the hitman feel, but since it is a fanfic I won't criticise on how 47 would never kill so many people without reason.

 

Try sneakier tactic telling on the actual plot, and less used dialogue, other then that good work for a new writer.
