Anasterian Posted July 30, 2010 Share Posted July 30, 2010 I like to steal taxis with passengers inside then randomly drive around the city fast and the moment i see an opportunity to bailout at high speed right before a jump, i do it and the taxi flies somewhere with passengers screaming. If i do not die from the bailout, i go and check the taxi out. meson1 Posted August 2, 2010 Share Posted August 2, 2010 (edited) I have this odd irrational hatred of taxis in GTA:IV+Episodes. I don't know why. Perhaps it's because there are so bloody many of them and they are always getting in my way. In particular I hate the MPV type "Cabby". I get fun from them in numerous ways. These include: - Driving as fast as possible down the centre of a street in a heavish vehicle (Patriot or heavier) and if a taxi is making a left turn right across my path, I actually steer INTO it. This usually results in the taxi rolling several times as I continue down the road. The Cabbies seem more fragile than the other types of taxi and sometimes just burst into flame before exploding. - I also like to kick several cabs so the drivers get out ready for a punch up. I then climb on top of a tallish vehicle like a cabbie and watch them furiously circle the vehicle as they try to get at me. They do calm down over time, though they don't give up, but if I then punch the air while still stood on the car, they go nuts again. - I like to lead an infuriated taxi driver in front of a police vehicle and take a hit so the police get out and arrest him. Then if I time it right, I steal the police car after the taxi driver's been put in the back and drive off with him and do a few stunts. - Another one is to use the fire engine to give taxi's a free wash . This generally drives them bonkers in various ways, but the best being the ones that chase you down and try to ram you until they damage their own cars enough that they set ablaze and explode. - And in TBoGT: sticky bombs. Oh what fun. I'm trying to get a sticky bomb on a cab, then kick it and run away. I want to get the taxi driver out of his cab for a fight and then blow up his cab when he's far enough away for the explosion to knock him flat, but not kill him. - Another is the sideswipe. This needs good timing and a mid-weight to heavy vehicle. Drive down the road at speed and as I pass taxis stopped at the lights I steer into the side of them with the corner of my vehicle. If I get it right, it seems to impart a much bigger impact than it should and sends the taxi violently crashing to the side of the road.
