xiffix
Hello people, I am having this problem with GTA 4. Last year i bought this game and played it for a while, then my PC crashed and the game went of my PC. Now like 5 months later i wanted to play this game, but the installation did not work. I get while installing the error like here. And after a while this appears. I have the real CD's and a code and every thing bought in the store. Can one of you guys help me? mkey82
The disk is damaged or your DVD driver is too worn to read it properly. You can try copying both DVD contents to the HDD and then install from there.
xiffix
and how, with iso??
GritEngine
he wont be able to. his dvd writer screwed it up - it is the act of copying that file that is the problem. it is called a cyclic redundancy check. it is the most common pirated software bug known to mankind and at times people have been convinced this can happen with a retail disc fault or drive fault. I don't know, never met anyone who faced this with retail media. Ever. If he tries to copy to the drive, it will just throw the same error. xiffix
you are right, i get the same error. How can i fix this problem with my dvd writer?
mkey82
If he tries to copy to the drive, it will just throw the same error. It actually worked in the past, with GTAIV specifically. xiffix, if you have an ISO, this probably means you don't have the actual game, hence you should buy it or leave GTAF.
