City of the Dead Mod Won't Work

Ok, it's the City of the Dead, Zombie mod. Now, since posting this, I have uninstalled and deleted everything and started fresh. I ignored what the video said and simply did what I already know. I switch the moded files out and backed the originals up in folders. The Alice folder is where it needs to be, and everything that needs to be in it, is in it.

Here's where I'm currently stuck. If you watch the video, it says to replace the file "pedgrp". After replacing everything else, the game worked, the loading screens were for the zombie mod, and the hotdog vender in the beginning was a zombie (though it was only appearence and he acted normal). But once I replace the "pedgrp", the game starts to open, but simply does not continue loading. The computer acts like it doesn't understand. Nothing pops up like it used to, nothing says it's stopped working, it just doesn't turn on. I have the "fix" that the video indicates and the necropolis files in it, and until I put that file in, everything works fine. I also installed the patch as indicated. So I don't quite understand what that one file is doing to the game. If you can help, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks...
