What is the game that you hated...

So, what are the games (if more than one) that you hated but most other people liked?

 

Mine definitely has to be Modern Warfare 2. It was so overhyped and it is the most overrated game of all times. It takes no skill to kill people which reminds me why lazy people love this game so much, and game reviewers such as IGN are rating newer shooting games underrated as hell because they don't "work like COD". Modern Warfare 2 just has too many damn campers and 12 year olds whining on the mic who are constantly noob-tubing. MAG and BF: Bad Company 2 were so underrated because they didn't have killstreaks and what not. People fail to try something new, just like how Americans fail to try new foods once they reach 21.

 

Edit: Oh and also Saints Row 2, I have a friend who is so obsessed with it because there is more "stuff to do" than GTA. Even though that may be true, Saints Row 2 has NO creativity whatsoever. Plus, he keeps telling me that I should help him make a "conspiracy" video for SR2. Doesn't SR2 even have any mysteries to be solved? I thought not.

Metal Gear Solid 4, Prototype, Resistance. Stuff like that. I have a love/hate relationship with Modern Warfare 2. It can be great when you win, of course, but other times, it's full of bullsh*t moves like commando and quick-scoping.

 

MGS4 bored me to pieces. I couldn't finish it. Prototype felt unfinished, and compared to inFamous, it was crap. Too many powers, too crappy of graphics, too lame of a story/character. Resistance was just weird. I dunno how to explain that one.

I don't like Halo, or any of them to be fair. I've played one or two on the PC and even bought Halo for myself to see what it was like since it was quite cheap. Really didn't enjoy the gameplay. I didn't like the whole concept of the game to be honest so I've never touched it since. Still amazes me at how many people seem to bum this game even today though. Then again I kind of feel that way about any game that's out there.

Not necessarily true. Just look at Mass Effect 1 and 2, Assassin's Creed 1 and 2, Crysis, Metro 2033, Red Dead Redemption...and the list goes on but it's 4:22 AM here and I barely remember my name. All great newer games. Quality does matter and gamers can recognize it because they actually play.

i never cared for really any of the PS3 exclusives (i have a friend that owns a PS3 and has all of the PS3 exclusives and ive played all of them over the past year or two) except for LBP. that game captivated my attention. the rest could be thrown into a burn pile and i couldnt care less.

actually there really is a difference, when you turn on the tv you see a show like cops, or something like that, and it shows a guy getting busted for doing a crime which should help kids see what happens when they try to do something in gta and also in a game like gta they have a disclaimer saying that what happens in this game is entirely fiction and I have read the MW2 manual front and back, looked all over the game and have not seen one disclaimer saying how parts of the game are entirely fiction, but then you see a commercial for the military, and it looks like something you would see out of a video game, I really don't have anything against the military I thank them for risking their lifes to protect the country that they are from but I think that they could just tone down the ads a bit, so basically what I'm saying is that I hate MW2 because the fan base thinks that its the best game ever made and if you dont agree f*ck you, but I also don't like it because it feels like a "been there done that" kind of game it just feels like every other fps, and it feels repetitive after a short while.
