nlitement
Wait, guys, you don't get paid by wire? I mean, directly to your bank account? Why not? Cash is the exception here in Finland. Some things about the US just amaze me. Not giving the full price of the product on price tags, paying to receive calls, then this. Hmm. I guess it's the small things in life that would make it harder for me to live there.
makeshyft
check Get your Amerigano sh*t outta my face, hermano. Also, we aren't talking about freelancing. The dude had a regular job slingin' tacos. The proper terminology I do believe is Cheque Cheque is the French way to say check. And we Americans don't like us no Frenchies. Actually Cheque is the British way of spelling it, as well as the Canadian way. I think that since check can mean more than one thing in a sentence, the better way to spell it is Cheque...either way is right though I guess. You don't really need to say British and/or Canadian. It's how it's spelt using British English. 'Check' is a US English thing. But this topic is about Taco Bell, and them living in the friggin' stone age. Basically I was trying to prove that it can be spelt either way, but cheque, is better because it only has the one meaning.
Stig
Who gives a flying f*ck it in reference to what the topic is about its the same f*cking word. But anyway, most places like taco bell (Fast food) all still do their payments by check.
Mark
If they specified it before you signed on the dotted line, I guess it's legal. If they did not specify it, nor was it in black and white before you, I'd say they've no right to do so. I'd put in a complaint to wherever is relevant. To be honest in that situation I would've just stood there at the counter til they paid up. Then again, I've no life. Heheh.

Tyler
Personally I think when the sh*t hits the fan, money or 'cheques' are not going to matter at all. Just guns, food, and manhood.
