iLiR
Thanx guys. I'm gonna test this ZAZ !! Edit: Now whole map have the only name: Hashbury. Then why you need to place 8 big zones? BTW, how to use special characters (like ç, ë etc) in .gxt file? Because ingame the special character doesn't appear? BTW, in fonts.txd are included special characters, but I don't know why the game don't display them? Also, spanish.gxt uses special characters and HOW? Deji
Mmm.. Doesn't FXT support non-latin characters? I recall someone saying about making SA a different language by overriding the GXT with FXT, but I'm not sure myself. Hehe, for the sake of getting familiar, I wanted to make SA Russian... But if the FXT doesn't work I don't think there would be a way to do it... I doubt there's room to fit 33 letters. Hmm... Saying that, one must exist by now... And so the hunt begins... coin-god
Also, spanish.gxt uses special characters and HOW? GTA_SA.EXE RULES EVERYTHING Sometimes it feels like that.
iLiR
Do you know which language uses .gxt files?
NTAuthority
San Andreas is the only game not supporting UTF-16 for text files, and has specific exceptions in the code page (I've read it's similar to DOS 437?) for the special characters needed in the officially supported languages. Inactive in GTA/R* title modification indefinitely pursuant to a court order obtained by TTWO. Good job acting against modding!
