GTA SA Singleplayer Sound Lag

Ok what I mean by this is, lets say I spawn a AK-47, then i start shooting the weapon,

when i'm shooting the gun I continuously loose FPS (Frames per second) THIS IS HAPPENING WITH ALL GUNS. Then when I stop

shooting, my fps goes back to normal . Also, on SAMP, it's worse when i'm on DM/TDM Servers, This

ONLY happens when SOMEONE is shooting a weapon.

 

If ANY of you can help me

I would be much, much obliged.

OS - Microsoft Windows XP SP3 Home Edition

Processor - Intel Celeron 2.70Ghz

Graphics card - NVIDIA Ge-force 8400gs

Sound Card - Realtek AC97 Audio

 

I can play GTA SA Very, very well, it's just the weapon sound lag that

bothers me !

EDIT - I finally solved my problem, I was looking through the troubleshooting forums

and found a topic that REALLY helped me out which was the stickied Audio post. Thank you

so much guys!

Before going too far, as a lot of time is wasted on trying to fix a no-fix situation:

Are you playing the game with the Original DVD in the Drive? You are not trying to use a No-CD program or crack.

If you Downloaded your game: is it from other than Direct2Drive or SteamPower.com?

 

When posting a problem, be sure to include the following information about your computer:

Operating system (Windows users: be sure to mention if you have XP or Vista, and which Service Pack you have)

Video/Graphics card type and how much dedicated graphics memory (shared memory?)

Processor

RAM (random access memory)

This may help to identify the problemI

Also if you have installed mods, either remove them or search and post a topic in the MODDING forum
