crackdawg
As the GTA IV blog states R* has been researching around LA. Maybe the BS&Garbage will cut down in this forum section. Agent is also based around the same setting so who knows..
Shark_Cipriani
Hopefully not. And what's with the garbage&bs thing? This section is meant to be full of speculations and such, I believe.
TonyPro
Couldn't that "research" possibly be for L.A. Noire?
sminem
Couldn't that "research" possibly be for L.A. Noire? Could also be for Agent, Max Payne 3, or maybe something totally different. Hell it could even be for a RDR sequel.

Agent is also based around the same setting so who knows.. L.A Noire is also based in the same setting, so this means that they're making 2 games that were already announced to be set in L.A, obviously meaning that they didn't start making the next GTA yet. We won't be seeing a next GTA until 2012, and hopefully the next motherf*cking episode of Half-Life 2 will be released before that as that is the most overly waited game of all time. Yes I understand, but wouldn't it make sense for R* to have GTA NeXT to be released in a later date if two great games are already coming out? Anyways that wasn't my point, my point is that there are already two games published by R* that are going to be in Los Angeles.

There are sub-divisions of the company but only one global market.. Agent alone is suppose to be massive and like GTA. The sandbox is suppose to be "twice the size of GTA IV". BTW L.A. Noire is based on older times..I have it on good authority they were surveying non-historical locations.

Anyhow, did they say, what R* branch is doing this, because if it is north, It could be Agent or GTA, or who knows what else.
