jamieleng
GritEngine, I think you are taking the term 'system seller' a little too literally. It doesn't mean it's the only reason a console sold, rather it is a very high profile game that could influence some people to buy that particular system. More on topic. Yes I would've liked to see a SAS,but it's too late now. I'd rather R* Leeds made something else. Are they making anything at the mo?
Sgt_Tricore
i wish they would make a san andreas stories. people will probably start telling me that they have already started another era, yes, but it could still be possible. or maybe add vcs and lcs to pc once they stop making many profit and sell them for $15 usd, becasue i really want a vice city in which you can swim, the graphics are better, and complete new storyline. my friend had a psp and i used to play vcs on it it was very fun because it was way different from vice city. Emhyr
i dont think anyone wants a psp game since they suck. I definitely dont want one. What are you talking about? I played tetris once, and I had amazing gaming experience.
Weirdo.
i dont think anyone wants a psp game since they suck. I definitely dont want one. PSP games don't suck and for your info I'd like to see another GTA released on it. A prequal to IV would be ideal. Nah man, San Andreas Stories, all the way. Theres no need for San Andreas Stories, we've already got The Introduction. Liberty City Stories wasn't the setup to Claude's story, it was a completely different story arc focusing on one of the characters. San Andreas Stories could be about Big Bear for example, or how things were before CJ left, through the eyes of a character that is not CJ. kudoboi
i have tried a psp and i will never buy it, the chinatown wars was released on iphone, i'd rather buy a iphone compared to psp cuz 1st. iphone can call, internet, apps, music player, camera, bluetooth. although it would be great to release that game to android market. and psp is so bulky and psp go is just another ver of psp, its slimmer, but still.... its still big compared to iphones and android phones or any touchscreen or smart phones you can find. if i were you, get a android or a iphone. android phone reconmandations : samsung momment samsung galaxy s motorola milestone

The iPhone and Android are not. That extra bulkiness is what powers games like Liberty City Stories. Can Liberty City Stories fit on an iPhone? No. Just something light like a crappy racing game or Chinatown Wars. Chinatown Wars has sub-par graphics and low-poly models. Perfect for porting onto a smart phone. A game like LCS, no, it's models are close to something like a portable PS2 game. Now I know that I'm using the same game for comparison, but think of LCS as 'a PSP game in general'. With CTW being the exception: A port of a Nintendo DS game. Edited August 1, 2010 by Weirdo.
kid23455
sadly, i don't think that a new one will be released on the psp. But remember, that the psp was created originally in the ps2, xbox era. The psp, while still, from a technical standpoint, superior to the ds, it is behind. Not really because it sucks, it is dying for several reasons: The pspgo was a total joke, an insult to gamers everywhere. Not many good games were produced. The firmware is completely blocking any customization "if sony allows it, it could completely reopen psp, and could probably still turn a profit despite being a generation behind". And finally, although previously stated, its a generation behind. Although rockstar could turn a profit "kojima I know anticipated poor sales in mgspw, but it will sell over time", the technology is too limited. Not only that, but the 3ds will have its own market, completely unparralled for a while. But, also remember that the current generation is also probably coming to a close "5 years, meaning its the twilight for 360, ps3, and the wii". The next generation will come, and the psp 2 will arise, and there is your san andreas stories. Or whatever. Wow, I really got off topic.

LCS may not have been the build up to Claude's story but it was the build up to other characters. SAS doesn't need to be done, whats the point in going back to the III era where all the loose ends are tied up?

GTAIV-NewYork
The GTA III era is dead. So is PSP. Now, obviously I don't KNOW this, but come on guys. Seriously, Vice City and San Andreas are over. It's time to just.. let go. They made IV, the two DLCs and that CTW just to give other smaller systems a go, and pulled it off very well. But now, 4-5 years after they made LCS, the final, final III era GTA, going back would just be silly. Sure they'd make money from it, but really it would make no sense because III is over, no San Andreas Stories.

I mean, it would be totally impossible, because GTA LCS was the final, final, FINAL GTA III era game, right? owai...
