Mister Pink
It Is annoying that but once I was beating a guy 6-0 at half time, he didn't quit. I respect him, a good loser:) Final score 10-0 Yeah man, I beat a guy about 9 or 10 nil and he totally stayed on and took his beating. I commend people like that and I think I sent him a message thanking him for not quitting. After all it should be encouraged. OK, I've a few questions as I never have anyone to play with that knows the game inside out and I find it difficult trawelling for the specific info I'm looking for. So if any of you can kindly answer, I'd be so grateful. 1. So, is there a way I can go online for a quick match with a saved squad rather than do all the subs beforehand? 2. When I go online it's asks me if I'd like to overwrite over a current squad. What's that about? I have an idea, I think, just very unsure. 3. How come when you create you own player during Player/manager mode you can bang all the stats up to highest. Isn't that cheating? Can you use that player online? AnthMUFC-Champs
It annoys me that the music you install is very quiet on the entrance is there a way of turning it up?
SilentSeas
I've tried to play 5 or 6 games online today but only managed to finish one because of people quitting. After the one match I did finish (which I won 3-1 playing as Blackpool against some guy playing as Chelski), I got a message from the guy I beat calling me a pussy for using a sh*t team! I'm thinking of setting up a league on PSN if anyones interested.

Can you use that player online? As far as I'm concerned, you can't use your player/manager squad in any other mode than career mode. But if you use your Virtual Pro, you can use this player in Be a pro online modes and unranked 1v1 games. You can play 11v11 where every single player is controlled, and also create clubs for competitive and organized teamplay

nerner
I'm thinking of setting up a league on PSN if anyones interested. I'll hardly ever be online but count me in if you want. I'll probably get spanked by everyone though.
Mister Pink
Had the worst day of my online Fifa life ever. I kept getting hammered. I lost about 9 out of 10 games. Really giving me the rage. Does the difficulty you play in single player be the same as online. For instance the online AI is better/harder if you play Legendary etc? arsenal_fan
It annoys me that the music you install is very quiet on the entrance is there a way of turning it up? Yeah man, download mp3gain and up the volume to 105 db, then put them in and it should be good, I had the same problem as well.
HenningM92
I'll have to increase the audio of my songs that play in the crowds as well, they can barely be heard on my LIVE broadcast. It surely make the atmosphere epic I always wondered what effect that's added to the music from stadium, is it some kind of echo or bass reduction? arsenal_fan
Have no idea, a friend suggested it to me as I had trouble with audio as well. You can use audacity as well to increase the audio of the mp3 files but I find mp3gain much easier.

nerner
I really dislike the games defending on any level above "semi-pro". Any time a player with any talent gets the ball they are immediately outmuscled by about 5 defenders. There is simply no real place for skill in the game. Plus the referees don't defend my teams one bit... I sound like Arsene Wenger up there...

That's true, my first 3 games with Leeds have been a defensive battle without many clear chances on goal. The referee just doesn't let my games flow. SilentSeas
I have to agree with you there nerner. But having said that at least it makes the game challenging, I found last years game to be a little bit too easy. As for the ref, yes he does very little to offer protection and yes he makes stupid decisions but at least its realistic

I like games where I can lead Bristol City to victory and the refs get every single decision correct. Give me FIFA 05 on the GBA any day!
SilentSeas
Are you not leading BC to success at the moment then nerner? FIFA 05 was good but I think I'd take FIFA 04. I miss scoring from 30 yards out with my keeper. Still I'm not complaining with the realism, I've got the my beloved Blackpool to the top of the prem and I hold a 2-1 fist leg lead over Inter in the Champions League semi finals. Bates_GTA
I agree Nerner, it's beyond frustrating, and removes the possibility of trying skills & having shots at goal from far out, Defenders never give you an inch of space to try something different. That's why playing online shows off FIFA's true potential.

lloydo
On Professional, as Leeds, my gameplay is rarely consistent. The only way to break down defences is with quick wingers and their crosses. Though you don't necessarily need quality strikers to score in this game, all you need is sexy football.
nerner
Not even in the easiest difficulty setting? I don't really get any excitement from destroying any team on amateur settings. I am finding myself playing more online matches now due to the fact that other people often give me enough room to work with in order to do something special. I like the game, don't get me wrong, but I am certainly not the only guy who is complaining of defensive overtuning within these pages.
SilentSeas
The only way to break down defences is with quick wingers and their crosses. Agreed. I play on the Proffessional difficulty with a 4-3-3 formation and I have no problem obliterating defences with my wingers. Having a good old fashioned centre forward up front helps as well. I suggested the easiest setting for those who found the game too realistic. It was mainly directed at Bates, who misses "the possibility of trying skills & having shots at goal from far out". Lethal Nizzle
Just took Cardiff up to where they should be, the Premiership! So far I've signed Thomas Kuszczak and Kevin Davies for the new season, but I still have my January buys - Kyle Naughton, Mate Bilić and Zat Knight. I've lost Koumas, Bellers, Olofinjana and Keogh (they were season long loans, like in real life). Can't wait to start a new season! Also I recommend Andy Keogh to anyone who has a Championship or below squad. He's rated 73 but was my second leading scorer!
