Without many elite class players either. Tis this: Reina, Abidal, Godin, Albiol, Angel, Xabi Alonso, Sergio Busquets, Mikel Arteta, Bojan, Fernando Llorente, Benzema I really want Xavi (favourite Spanish player) in there but he's so damn expensive lol. At least now EA have given our squad a fairer reflection, it used to p*ss me off have to play online with players rated in the 60's everytime I was Blackpool. In MM i'm having a bug where i can't resign any contracts at the end of the season, and all my favourite players are thus leaving. Would selling players to get my squad down to 16 MAKE them stay, or will they be replaced by generic youths? Also has anyone else noticed the "gloves" error? Default glove colour is white, not black. ffs EA my players look like surgeons. Also online - there needs to be a change to matchup in Pro ranked. The amount of times i've seen players come into the lobby who's default pos is GK, waited for 3 mins only for another to turn up and "steal" that position. They should let you chose your position on a first come first served basis Also, not fifa11 per se (more fifa 12), but they should bring back Indoor 5-a-side mode - with wood floor and astro! MM mode is so crap now - do you remember 06/07's PS2 era ones? with the myriad of emails and interviews etc you could do. Now it's play game, win league, get fired, start again. It's such a shame PES lags behind. Not to say i don't like the game though - i do, that's why these things bug me. Also the fact my favourite player isn't in the game BOOO. But his voice files are so i've recreated him. Another thing fifa needs 1 - PROPER GK JERSEYS - for EVERY team. 2 - Home and away GK jerseys that you chose yourself before kick off - i played a game last night , against burton albion i think. They were in yellow shirts, black shorts, black socks. The keeper was in the generic yellow shirt, black shorts, black socks. COME ON! The only true wisdom is in knowing you know nothing. I'm currently with Aston Villa and I've just passed Christmas, I have signed Charlie Adam, Keiren Westwood for Sub GK but will step up for when Friedal retires and Hugo Rodallega. I'm 4th In the league, 1 point behind Chelsea In third. Man City are In second and we are 2 points behind them, Man United are top and we are 4 points off them. AnotherDave Posted February 25, 2011 Share Posted February 25, 2011 Career Mode is better than Manager Mode used to be, but it's still broken as players don't develop properly. The A.I. isn't the best either, which is especially obvious when you only control your virtual pro. The results seems to have improved though, which is good. With my VP I'm currently in my second season at Man Utd after one year with Bristol City and two with Spurs and the league is always tough. Man City are strong and each season at least 2 of the big clubs have kept up enough form to make the title race interesting. This is a huge improvement over FIFA 10 where all the big clubs would often finish in mid table. Playing as a VP is in some ways very similar to real football. Since I joined United whenever I play alongside Rooney it just clicks, he makes the runs I expect him to, finds space pulls defenders away to free space and can usually be relied to put away chances that are created. It's bizarre that he gets it so right when Defoe at Tottenham was a pain in the ass, he gave the ball away, missed sitters from 3 yards out with regularity and never bust a gut on the break. There are some peculiarities though, like when the opposition just fall apart. I've had 7-0 wins against Man City and Tottenham (as United) and a 5-0 against Arsenal (as Spurs) because their defences just don't pick up players making runs off the ball. Long story short, it's a good enough game, but with loads of room for improvement. I'm glad I waited and picked it up for less than £20 instead of £40 at launch. A small glitch ruins all that work, for some reason my Leeds team (for the second time) freezes when i select a particular player. All gone to sh*t. Aussiebushmatt Posted February 26, 2011 Share Posted February 26, 2011 I agree with some of the rating changes like Rooney down to 87, Ronaldinho to 82, Wilshere up to 80 etc. but I'm baffled as to why Rafael is still 77, Chicharito has gone DOWN to 77 from 79 and why RVP is stuck on 84. JW, what diff you play on? I got an 11-0 win a week or so ago on pro - my best ever result. I'm considering boosting the diff to (whatever's above Pro. ). games get boring where it's all me - eveytime i used to turn it up the game would be a goal fest. On pro it's too easy to defend, the next one up its to hard haha. Strangely, and my mate can confirm this, i play this game VERY well when drunk. not so good when sober. wtf is up with that? Also, what's your thought's people on having a"crazy" mode - online, play anyone, un ranked, custom rules, no rules (ie no offsides etc - host chooses them - and you can just f*ck about, dive, hoof the ball to random places. This is something I've never understood; why EA omits some very simple options that would make the game insanely fun in certain circumstances. I too would love to play with Fouls - off, Offsides - off, and voila! You could have some crazy online (unranked, of course ) matches with just these two simple things! I've always wanted things like intentional fouls and even diving in the game. I mean, we should be free to try and use them, even if we're likely to be punished for it, meaning that the system works itself out.. The old FIFA games used to be so cool, what happened? Invisible walls, harsh fouls (e.g. throwing an elbow, which often resulted in straight reds), and slide tackling the goal keeper were all present back in the good ol' days!
