King Of Monra
I suppose it it kind of cheating a bit. Kind of takes away thie fun of scouting new talent but I'm glad to have this list and might use it, thanks. I agree. But you can find more hidden stars when scouting, that is probably more rewarding when finding someone who ends up with 85+

Dnero
Bad news fellas, my FIFA 11 disc is scratched... well not really, there's like a crack from the middle hole of the disc until the second ring which is short but when I put the disc in, the PS3 doesn't read it. I'm screwed.
SIKKS66
Assembled an Ultimate Team I'm loving atm. Record is poor because of all the tweaking and such I've had to do but I'm undefeated in a few games, won 8-0 in my last game which was ace. Here it is: Inter Zanet (4.5 stars) - Chemistry: 84 - Record: 11-0-19 GK: Demirel (Fenerbahçe) LB: Dossena (Napoli) RB: Zambrottta (Milan) CB: Nesta (Milan) CB: Onyewu (Milan) CAM: Pastore (Palermo) LM: Boateng (Milan) RM: D'Agostino (Fiorentina) CDM: Palombo (Sampdoria) ST: Müller (Bayern) ST: Klose (Bayern) Bench GK: Stekelenburg (Ajax) CB: Papastathopoulos (Milan) CB: Mellberg (Olympiakos) CM: Petrov (Aston Villa) CDM: Bodmer (Paris SG) RF: Gouffran (Bordeaux) ST: Altidore (Villareal) Ze German attack is destroying everyone and the midfield is immense. Defence is old school Italian destruction. Intend to partner Nesta up with Walter Samuel at some point and replace Palombo with De Rossi or Cambiasso. I'd really like to bring Di Maria in for Boateng and have an all Argentine attack with Tevez and Higuain up top but a) that will cost the Earth and b) the Germans are too effective. Anyone else having a LOT of fun on Ultimate Team like me?
nerner
Anyone fancy a game? Just got into the online scene now and haven't lost a game apart from one forfeit due to lunchtime and one penalty shootout. I also quit on a guy playing as Inter Milan because he was literally the most cynical bastard I have ever seen on FIA online. And another thing which I hate is people who see you pick Bristol City and then pick Real Madrid. Nicky Maynard, Khalifa Cisse and John Stead made that guy shut up quite fast as I routed him. I'm on PS3 send me a PM anyone if you fancy a game and we'll work out a time.

Until the inevitable quit moment happens when you stuff in a 35 yarder to make it 3-0. Speaking of which, I need to shoot from distance more, last game I scored twice from miles out. I'd much rather do an Arsenal though, feels so much more satisfying.
Hobbes27
When starting a career mode, which do you guys prefer to do? Player, manager or player manager? I've only done player manager obviously, but besides the descriptions on the screen they give you when choosing, are there any major/minor differences then the other ones? I had to blow some dust off my fifa, my influx of games is just out of control the past 3 months, I can't find time to play them all. NBA 2k11, NHL 11, Halo: Reach and Fifa 11 are just the ones I have purchased within the last two months. God help me haha Edited November 8, 2010 by Hobbes27
HenningM92
After I pretty much maxed my virtual pro for FIFA clubs, I prefer manager mode so I can focus on the whole team instead of just one player
MostOfAll
I was actually considering getting this game, but I honestly don't know if it still keeps you playing after about ten gaming sessions. Usually, I get bored of these sports games after several sessions. Repetitive commentary and player celebrations make me sick. For those of you who already own this game and have already played it, is it worth getting? Edited November 9, 2010 by Allen14n

God help me haha Player - You can control a single player and develop him or play as the whole squad. Player Manager - Same as above but you can also take charge of squad settings and tactics. Manager - You play games as the whole team, there is no option for an original player. I played three games as a goalkeeper and was honestly bored out of my mind, so since then I have stayed in the Manager comfort zone. @Allen14n: Make your own decision, all judgements which you get from any people in this thread will obviously be biased. Watch the gameplay videos and if you are still interested, then buy the game.
lloydo
@Allen14n: All games are kind of repetitiive in their own way, in Fifa you don't have to do one thing all the time. You've got a wide variety to do, don't get stuck to the big leagues all the time, pick a small team and build them. I never tire of trying out new signings and working on the youth squad! lloydo
You can prevent that yourself by changing the style of play, shooting often with precision, early crosses... anything to change the tactics. Or just change teams. You just have to accept it's not perfect.

SIKKS66
The amount of money I've spent on Gold Packs in Ultimate Team is depressing. I need to stop. Ari Gold
Well, I haven't gotten FIFA 11 yet and still play 10, but it's more or less the same game so I might as well discuss it in here, if you guys don't mind. I'm currently in my fourth season of my manager mode; I started off with FC Lyn Oslo and spent two seasons with them, before moving to QPR in the Championship, winning the Championship in my first season and then getting an offer from Real Madrid. I'm currently about twelve or so games into the league season, and just completed the group stage of the ECC (I think that's the Champions League equivalent); I f*cked up my first few matches against Everton and Hoffenheim, and heading into the final match-day there was only three points separating first and fourth. I beat AZ Alkmaar 5-0 and went through top of the group; I've now been drawn against Sporting Lisbon, as far as I remember (haven't played in a few days). Barcelona, the c*nts, are sitting about eight or so points in front of me. I won my first seven matches, but my past five matches have been indifferent, and Messi and the crew have basically stormed past me. I'm still kind of forming my team (would've been better had Dani Alves decided to join), but my line-up's still pretty formidable: CasillasSergio Ramos - Pepe - Raul Albiol - LahmKaka - Lassana Diarra - Xabi Alonso - Van der Vaart Ronaldo - Benzema 4-4-2 works surprisingly well in Spain. Lethal Nizzle
Here's my two Ultimate Team squads at the moment. And SIKKS666 I have the same problem, been spending way too much on jumbos, etc. Premier League XI: Cech, Kolarov, Alex, Ivanovic, Sagna, Yaya Touré, Malouda, Nasri, Gerrard, Chamakh, Anelka. Liga BBVA XI: Almunia (b/c he's Spanish), Sergio Ramos, Diaz, Marchena, Filipe, Mascherano, Sergio Busquets, Pablo Hernandez, Pedro, Sergio Aguero, Perotti. SIKKS66
My current Ultimate Team: Buffon, Riise, Chiellini, Nesta, Zambrotta, Cambiasso, Pepe, Vargas, Pirlo ©, Pato, Amauri Frequently used Subs: Storari, Onyewu, Gargano, Palombo, Rossi, Iaquinta, Pastore, Hamsik 4-1-2-1-2 formation. Old school Italian mixed in with some pacey new blood. Saving up for Robben to switch with Pepe and eventually Sneijder to play anywhere along the midfield (I like Pirlo too much to give him the CAM slot straight away ). Eto'o or Milito may eventually replace Amauri but he's far too good for me to replace atm. Di Natale may replace Vargas.
Theodoro
Online on this game is terrible. So slow, just awful. Player reactions about 2 seconds after you've pressed a button. Yes you guessed it, I lost my first game online. After just about scraping through the first few games with this awful gameplay, I finally lost to some chap on penalties.
