lloydo
Strong team. But can't you bring in the likes of Kaka with the glitch? Or would Leeds be too low profile.

SilentSeas
Strong team. But can't you bring in the likes of Kaka with the glitch? Or would Leeds be too low profile. No you can't sign the likes of Kaka, Ronaldo and Rooney. If you try they just reject your contract offer and say that they're settled where they are. TommyMufc-Champs
Yeah I thought so but If you offered 3 million wages they couldn't refuse that
Straznicy
Starting to get fairly annoyed at the difficulty settings in this game. At Professional I'm winning like, 6-0 against teams like Barcelona. At World Class, I'm struggling to nab anything more than a 1-0 win, and teams like Inverness play like Barca. Where's the happy, realistic medium?
Mister Pink
I'm not too fond of Rooney but I he's got a rating of 89 and I wanted the best young-enough striker at age 26. I bought him in the Christmas transfer window, year 2012. They were asking about €50 million. I had a million and just wanted to see if I could lure him away and so I offered him €70 Million and 20% bonus if he scores and he gets about €200k a week. Haha. He accepted immediately the money-hungry c*nt. Go him for 5 years aswell so he'll be 31 years old when I sell him and hopefully still worth a few quid. He scored in the first 10mins for AC Milan but has had a mediocre season since. I was wondering if players start off in new clubs slowly before settling in? It seemed liked that with Nasri when I just signed him cause his stamina is was quite sh*t but now he seems to be settling in and I'm getting more value for money out of him. Next on my list is a midfielder. Maybe a right winger. I'm letting go of Seedorf he's 35 now. Sad times. Scored a goal for me a match or two ago and is still great at tackling except he's so injury prone it's unreal. So, just finished my second season. Did worse than last season. I won the Coppa Nazionale, came 3rd in the Serie A (as apposed to 2nd last time) and got knocked out of the semi-finals of the Champions League by Barcelona (Bayern Munich won it). Got €40 million to blow on transfers. Might save until Christmas to buy players. I 'm in negotionations with Stephen Ireland. He's got a decent enough rating of 80 for a midfielder of 24 or 25. I think he'll progress well. 🅵🅴🅽🅸🆇 🅵🆄🅽🅺 🅵🅸🆅🅴

Dnero
Is anybody getting Ultimate Team? I do, it's free (not like the previous installment) It's supposed to be out today, but I only see it in the US store. My FIFA 11 is region 3, so... I need to wait til the Asia store is updated. Who are you playing as? Sounds like you need some quick wingers and a good old fashioned up front pairing to head in the crosses. I only play on WC so I don't really know what legendary is like to play (only played it once, won 2-1 as Spain vs Andorra but they played like Brazil). lloydo
I just lost out on the Premier League to Man City by goal differance! We were both on 80 points and i drew in my last game, bloody Blackburn.
nerner
I just won the Spanish league with a game to spare. Edin Dzeko got 4 as we tore apart Osasuna 9-0 for by far our biggest win of the season. Everything that our front 4 seemed to strike went flying into the net... Seddo
Ultimate Team is now free? Kudos EA. Yeah they release a statement shortly after FIFA's release, apparently rewarding fans due to how well FIFA 11 sold. Instead of that glitch why not just go to team management or what ever it's called at the very first menu page and swap all the decent players you want at a specified team. Saves a lot of hassle and players can't refuse transfers then .
Mister Pink
I'm totally immersed in this game now. I'm on my third season and for the first time I brought Milan to the top of Serie A with Juventus 4 or 5 points behind and Inter behind them. I changed up my formation and Rooney and Ronaldihno are on fire with Pato and Robinho doing some great work. Rooney Ronaldinho/Robinho Pato/Nasri Bale Seedorf Falaino Abrosini Thiago Silva Nesta Zambrotta/Jankolowski Abiatti OK, that's a dodgey representation of my formation but it goes. I highly reccomend Falaino and Nasri. They have been great for me. I don't think Falaino even cost that much. Bale hammered his first left footed banger for me a few matches ago. Good times! Edit: I spaced out the players in my post but when I post it the gaps are gone. Basically it's Rooney slightly in front as CF then Robinho on the left and Pato on the right. So 3-4-3. Oh yeah and I decided not to sell Seedorf. I think he's 36 now in the game but he scored for me the other day and he's been getting his game and not injuring himself so bad as he used to. I reckon at about 33 they injure easily and most people will sell but if you keep him on the injury proness might go away? Fingers crossed. Sure Milan are famous for having an old team but look at Inzaghi last night. He was on fire and he's 37. HAha. Sorry for doin a Slamman. lloydo
My players rarely get injured, just very tired. Qualifying for Europe really doesn't give you enough rest in the calender, though i suppose it's realistic.
nerner
Edit: I spaced out the players in my post but when I post it the gaps are gone. Basically it's Rooney slightly in front as CF then Robinho on the left and Pato on the right. So 3-4-3. I think that it automatically shortens more than one space to a single one to save space if a user accidentally hits the space bar more than once. If you were to put it in code tags then it would show up fine. Mister Pink
@Nerner: Ah... Thanks man. Useful for the future. @lloydo: Yeah it really takes it out out the players. I love using my first team but sometimes you really have to think ahead about who you put on when you know you have a Champions League game coming up. Dnero
Damn, Ultimate Team has been awesome. I got a 6 win streak against World Class difficulty, and a 1 loss in online but it was a close game though. In the end, we traded some players
Mister Pink
Still really unframiliar with Ultimate Team. Not quite sure what it is. I played online for the first time in a good while. I lost about 6 games in a row. Furious, I am. On the brighter side I scored my first free kick in Fifa 11 in my last match online with Pirlo. http://www.ea.com/uk/football/videos/ugc/47259970 🅵🅴🅽🅸🆇 🅵🆄🅽🅺 🅵🅸🆅🅴

AnthMUFC-Champs
Really good career i am doing at the moment, took on the ever so demanding job at Real Madrid CF and i have currently had a clear out for a new Galactico era or what ever they call it. I have signed three Brazilians, Ganso from Santos, Neymar from Santos and Michel Bastos from Lyon, currently are unbeaten and my three Brazilian signings are flying even when they come of the bench they always put in a solid performance. lloydo
The great thing about this game is the ability to play well with low skilled players, i have one on 66 skill and he's a machine against bigger teams. Even though he won't grow any further he still scores great goals.
nerner
Still really unframiliar with Ultimate Team. Not quite sure what it is. No I don't think I really understand the point of it either. Anyone care to explain it to me?
Seddo
Still really unframiliar with Ultimate Team. Not quite sure what it is. No I don't think I really understand the point of it either. Anyone care to explain it to me? The main aim of the game is to basically build your Ultimate Team (does what it says on the tin ) Upon starting your UT game you'll be given several packs and each pack has a number of cards featuring different types such as players, managers, home and away kits, formation cards, contract cards ect; Then by playing games and depending on a win, draw or loss you get given a certain amount of coins to spend on other packs and then try to improve your team. Another key element is chemistry which makes your team tick. Each player has a preferred formation and playing players in that formation gives you bonus chemistry, also grouping players in a certain area of the pitch with the same nationality will also grant you bonus chemistry. It can get quite addictive trying to build your team up, it's free so you might as well give it a bash, also it will be worth looking at FIFA 09/10's videos on Xbox/PSN marketplace or Youtube. Think i covered the basics there....
