Terror-Inferno Posted August 9, 2010 Share Posted August 9, 2010 Well I had a five minute go to see if I could make something as I can only model simple models in 3Ds Max So I created some sort of spider, still need to finish the body and legs off. coin-god Posted August 5, 2011 Share Posted August 5, 2011 1 year BUMP. Now that we can put models in IV, this program is going to be really usefull for making HQ characters for it. The best part is that anyone can use it. This is my latest project with Sculptris (havn't touched it in months): Made a pretty low poly base head on MAX, and imported it to Sculptris. Yes, but the idea (for game developing/modding) is to use this program to make a high resolution mesh of your model. And later with MAX or any other program you make a new mesh but in low resolution. Then you create a normal map out of the Sculpted mesh and use it in your low poly mesh to make it look like the High res one. It took me a while to get it right, I've been looking at many head wireframes to get the topology right. I like how it looks. Basic workflow: Sorry for size... and paint editing lol First in-game test (Using Unity Engine, not GTA IV). Turned out nice, I like it so far.
