I agree, the whole area around Back o' Beyond, Shady Creek and Flint County is absolutely amazing and well-designed. It gives you the feeling of being far away from everything, in the middle of nowhere. That places were pure magic to me when I did my first ever playthrough.

Agreed! This is why I prefer V to IV nowadays, I love taking my Rebel out and exploring.

IV was going to get some wild life , but Rockstar dropped the idea so they can focus on the physics and realism.

 

Which made it a (pretty) boring game. It sure was pretty

When you think of GTA San Andreas, which place comes first in your mind? Is it Grove Street? Vinewood? Santa Maria beach? Mount Chiliad? The garage in San Fierro? The bridges in San Fierro? The deserts of Bone County? Area 69? The casinos at Las Venturas? Some random pizza parlor? Something else entirely? I'd include a poll, but the world is so huge!

 

To me personally, it's the deserts of Bone County, as well as the Santa Maria beach:

all forests and desert are my favorite places. after 99,47% completion i either hang around there in an ap buffalo, or i have a rampage in the riots

Las,Venturas baby... What ever happens in Las,Venturas stays in Las,Venturas. Apart from gambling. That part of the game is my personal favroite. Hey..Its a replica of Las,Vegas. Who woulden't want to go there?

San Fierro, really cool place.

I like in San Fierro because...

...There are too many turning ways to do so with drifting.

...The roads are great for hot pursuit.(eg. 6-star wanted level)

...There are too many ramps to evade cops.

...The sightings are good in my sight.

...There are no immortal gangs to disturb you.

...There is the best "car modifier" garage(Wheel Arch Angels),so I can easily go there.

 

However...

...The chance of "cop blockers" is high when you have a 4 star wanted level higher in San Fierro.

...There is the millitary base located in Easter Basin,very restricted and must not be entered,or you'll be dead.

...Most of the ways are uphill,making your car slow.

San Fierro (Juniper Hil,Juniper Hollow,Paradiso and the Esplanade)

Bone County and The Whetstone.

Los Santos isn't far behind it. East LS is like instant nostalgia.

Yesterday I finally unlocked Las Venturas and man, driving through the desert canyon at sunset in a monster truck while listening to "Movin' On Up" by Prinal Scream is quite an experience
