Mister Pink
Can't find anyone watching Suburra. It's a real shame. It's based on true events but it plays out like GTA, except in Rome. You have warring factions/gangs and outcasts from those gangs forming their own alliances, politicians, politics, the Vatican, street crime. It's brilliant. It's only 3 seasons. The 3rd and final season just released not long ago. The Time Ranger 1 PACIFIC 707 - 808 STATE
GTA-Biker
Just started watching Initial D today. To be honest,I'm not really familiar with anime (I did watch stuff like Pokemon, Digimon, YuGiOh, Beyblade and a few others as a kid,but that was back in the early and mid 2000s),but since I've heard this is about cars and street racing and that it has a lot of cool 80s and 90s Japanese cars,I decided to check it out.So far I've only seen the first two episodes, but I liked them,so I'll keep watching it. Riqitch8
Watching His Dark Materials S2, The Mandalorian S2 and Cobra Kai S3 (all brilliant shows, by the way) made me realise how much I actually enjoy TV, but don't watch it because I'm distracted by other forms of consumable media (games, mostly). So when the new year rolled around I picked up strange habits, the main one being the paring of a serious British drama with a light hearted American comedy. The pairings so far have been: BBC's The Serpent (good show full of suspense) and NBC's Powerless (shaky start, but got pretty good pretty quickly. Shout out to Alan Tudyk). ITV's Broadchurch (damn, damn good show) and FOX's L.A. to Vegas (very much like Powerless, shout out to Dylan McDermott whose character was the best. I was actually sad to get to the end of this show, I kind of wanted to see more). (and currently) BBC's McMafia (just started, still unsure about it) and CBS' The Great Indoors (not sure about this one either, might drop it even with Stephen Fry in it. Plus, it has laugh tracks - yuck). Oh, and you may notice that these comedy shows were canned during or after one season, that's intentional. I'm just going to dedicate the rest of this post to Broadchurch, because I feel I need to. I was originally drawn to it because its essentially Doctor Who without being... Doctor Who. Two doctors; one former and current (but soon to be former) Doctor paired with the current showrunner Chris Chibnall. Also, I've seen so much praise for Olivia Colman, but never actually seen her in anything (same goes for David Tennant), so I thought this show would be my best chance to rectify it. So, my first impressions were, "oh my god, an ITV show? Ugh, that means its some lowest common denominator type sh*t" - ITV shows usually are, particularly their reality shows. It also didn't help that my views of British drama in general were quite jaded. I have to say, Broadchurch is so far from that (particularly after it gets its footing after the first few episodes of Series 1). It honestly blew my expectations out of the water. Tennant is so good, Colman is so good and Jodie Whittaker also has her moments along with the rest of the cast. I can now see why these actors are so highly regarded. I thought the first series was good, but the second and third were so much better (but series 2 is the best). This statement may not have a lot of weight, but this might be the best British drama I've ever watched.
Naughtius Maximus
Started a re-run of Malcolm in the Middle after a long-freaking-time. Man, even hearing the show's intro tune brings back many memories... Life is unfair... I'm not a big fan of the generic, cheesy American sit-com (I consider popular shows like Big Bang Theory, How I Met Your Mother as such). However, Malcolm in the Middle holds a very special place for me: A situational comedy - Very lively, very absurd. Educational with a style. Philosophical with a mindset. Hey, they didn't pick the show's motto as "Life is unfair" for nothing. Just watched the second season episode, Casino. Jolly good episode. Zello
Been watching the old ESPN show playmakers the entire series is up on youtube. It's about the struggles of a football team in their personal and professional lives. The show ended up getting cancelled by ESPN after 1 season because of pressure from the NFL because a lot of the issues that they show got a bit too real for them drugs, PEDs, CTE, domestic violence, gay teammates, etc and thought that it would bring a bad image to the league even though the show doesn't mention the NFL at all and takes place in a fictional league. Watching it is like a time capsule into the early 2000s. I still find it kinda funny that Disney was somewhat involved in this show. Mr. Galloway
Been rewatching the original Twilight Zone, planning to cover all of its seasons. Algonquin Assassin
I’ve had the urge to watch Twin Peaks. I’ve had the third season on DVD for quite sometime, but I found it confusing so I thought about just getting the entire series on blu-ray and started from the beginning. Just finished watching the pilot and I’m quite amazed that I just so happened to watch it 31 years to the day it debuted on April 8 1990. What an amazing coincidence. I had no idea as I was just looking on Wikipedia as I wasn’t sure whether it was 1990 or 1991. Can’t believe I chose the right date out of pure chance lol. Jason
I've read pretty much all of the Invincible comic, so I'm kinda not interested in watching the show but if they adapt the comic faithfully which looks to be the case then it'll be fantastic. One of the best super hero comics ever. I may have to check out the show one day for a flick through for some of my favourite moments in animated form possibly though. Guest
Behind Her Eyes was really good. It starts out slow but really picks up towards the end, I was gobsmacked. Highly recommend it. Eve Hewson puts in a fantastic performance. Definitely a stand-out.

darthYENIK
Just watched the finale of the Mighty Ducks: Game Changers. Overall the series is just not as “edgy” (big quotes on that) as the originals. Very G-rated, not so much PG-rated. But I did like to see the original kids as grown ups.
Craigsters
This showed up this week on amazon prime, I watched it last night and fell asleep during it, but to be fair I just finished a 24 hour binge gameplay if Far Cry 5, no amount of pop or energy drinks would of kept me awake to watch this "You don't understand! Mexicola9302
Im currently watching through that list, well at least what i think i might like. Lately i watched Burn Notice and liked it, it's a bit like Person of Interest but without a super AI, well it's not on the list, but it has some good laughs. It takes some time to get used to the main actor, i don't know it's his face or something, but after a while i got used to it, he's actually a good actor, it's great if he plays some loser or something, he really nailed it. Then i watched Resident Alien, it's so funny watching an alien living in our world, all these weird social interactions between the alien and the humans, yeah really had to laugh hard a few times. After that i almost binged watched Silicon Valley, damn it's so nerdy but fun to watch, 1000x times better than watching annoying Big Bang Theory that lost it's charme already after like 2 or 3 seasons. Nah Silicon Valley is just great, from the beginning to the end. Then i started to watch Veep, i didn't really like it, and just stopped watching after a season, it's just not very funny IMO. Oh yeah and before Burn Notice i did a Rerun of Chuck, that show is so great, i just had to watch it again, after all those years. Currently im watching Boston Legal, James Spader is such a good actor in this one, damn yeah it's fun to watch, it has so many good guest actors, and the rest of the maincast is pretty good too. I also watch The Blacklist, but honestly i like him much more in Boston Legal, he still has full hair in it lol. Im a bit depressed lately, comedy helps a lot with it. Im not sure what to watch next after Boston Legal, it must be without canned laughter, i hate canned laughter so much. I hope i find another "pearl" like Silicon Valley or Resident Alien. The list in the first sentence of this post is pretty good, if anybody is looking for comedy without canned laughter.
sabitsuki
Went in with relatively low expectations and I gotta say I'm quite impressed by this show. Yeah it's still kind of cheesy but the character development and dialogue in this show is on par with shows like The Sopranos and Breaking Bad, in spite of the contrast in genres. I think 90% of the teen drama crap on Netflix and CW owe their existence to this show.
Mexicola9302
I binged the first season of Avenue 5 yesterday, it was great. I always liked seeing Hugh Laurie, and in this series he plays a space ship captain that has no clue what he is doing. It had some good laughs the first season, looking forward to the second season. Mexicola9302
Just watched the first season of The White Lotus (anthology series), only took a lil less than 6 hours to watch, it was interesting to see how the lives of these characters changed in just a week of vacation. Next i will watch Chernobyl, and then Big Little Lies, oh yeah im a seriesjunkie, lately i like watching a lot of HBO series. Even if it's just short ones or miniseries.
