Adler
Ryosuke has this list of structs which includes coronas and I want to know how to find a certain corona's struct (which I created using 04D5) and write to it. Does anybody know how to do this?
Wesser
Unfortunately, it's impossible bacause the game doesn't assign an ID for each corona, so you can't check how many coronas you've spawned before to get the last ID. 012 345 678 9A BCD EFG HIJK LMN OPQR STUV WX YZ
Deji
The only thing I could suggest is comparing the values that you set to your corona with the values of each element of each array in the memory. For example, if the coordinates are the same and no other corona has the same coords, you can bet you've got the right struct
Wesser
Sure, but it could be helpfull only for static coronas unless you create many of them with different colours or sizes. 012 345 678 9A BCD EFG HIJK LMN OPQR STUV WX YZ
Adler
I tried a loop checking for which corona has the same X coord as the one I created and it works! Here's changing the Far Clip of the corona: 04D5: create_corona_at [email protected] [email protected] [email protected] radius 25.0 type 1 flare 2 RGB 4095 4095 4095for [email protected] = 0xC3E058 to 0xC3EF58 step 0x3C 0A8D: [email protected] = read_memory [email protected] size 4 virtual_protect 0 if 0045: [email protected] == [email protected] // (float) then break [email protected] += 0x1C0A8C: write_memory [email protected] size 4 value 5000000.0 virtual_protect 0 And I just put that bit of code in a loop for the corona to show for however long I want it to. Thanks for the help guys! Edited July 7, 2010 by Adler
