entering car problem

since a few days i cant get into cars.

When i press the '' f '' or the '' return '' buton to get into it, nothing happens.

and then when i press esc to look at options and go back, i enter the car and imidiatly step out ( while i dont een pressed to enter the car )

 

i have the same problem in vice city.

any help would be apreciated, i've tried everything.

reinstalling them both/ redownload them through steam.

It could be your keyboard. Bind the 'enter vehicle' button to one of the mouse buttons to see if it enters right away at the press of the button. If it does then there are problems with your keyboard.

For best performance make sure that the Repeat Delay is set to the shortest value and Repeat Rate is set to Fast in your keyboard settings, Control Panel.

Nope. doesnt work either.

when i use the mouse it gives the same problem as with the keyboard.

You could try using a cracked exe if it works with the steam version.

tried everything. still doesn't work.

it isn't a problem with my keyboard either, as i can walk fine, fight / shoot guns.

it's only entering cars that is the problem

got it fixed btw.

dunno what i did, but now it works again.
