To other reviewers: Can anyone review my Life In San Diablo series? Here is the link to topic. Thanks! biggrin.gif

I am going to do it tomorrow (10:45pm right now). If you want someone else to do it as I have already given my feedback in that topic, feel free to say so.

Hello guys, today i will review 2 missions of The Story of Leroy Kingston: Remake by KaRzY6 (this isn't tounge twister so just say TSLOK biggrin.gif). Why is it Remake and where is the orignal? The orignal was a sh*t so K6 made a nice one with the same story but with developed features. Small talk about the designer (no one does but i will do). He is a new guy. He makes really short but nice missions. He makes missions really fast and completed 2 good mission packs. He has also organized some games like 'Which Path will you take?' and he is getting timely response. He got lot's of help in this forums and he is also helping the forum in many ways. For Example, 'Every DYOM Designer Topic'. He has become a pro in DYOM too. Let's begin the Review (waited too long, huh? biggrin.gif)

Writing: Very Good- Many spelling mistakes but Colour/Color text prevented it (save my prince!). The lines were understanding and really logical too smile.gif.

Presentation: Very Good- Less cutscenes and hope more soon. Really good use of Objectives at a time. Less Realism but i know that you will bring more soon.

Totally, i will do just the first 2 missions.

Going To Miami (you will LOL when you will find out San Andreas's Miami)

Length: Decent- You are Leroy Kingston fron Los Santos and going for a trip to Miami. You go to your brother's house to just keep your vehicle there (why? What will happen to your vehicle if kept at your house?) and to say farewell (oh! that is why.. I thought that Jamie wanted that sh*thole to drive). You go Miami (the taxi driver is... Ambulance Chaser! biggrin.gif). LOL.. LOL.. LOL.. You go to Miami (which is at the back of your house lol.gif. Now easy to go and piss in the ocean). You don't like it and return back after 1 year with a f*cking problem. You Bank Manager has sold your house (sh*t! not my sh*t!). What to do now? Where you will stay? You return back to LS and the story begins....

Difficulty: Very Easy- Only cutscenes and a telephonic call. Nothing much but you understand the story.

Variety: Good- Good start. Pick the pace, bro. Many skin and animation. Less cars and no weapons. Take care of the realism (i loled alot when the Miami was at the back of Jamie's house biggrin.gif).

Back In Town (welcome back! We were waiting for you smile.gif)

Length: Good- Now you need a taxi (again Ambulance Chaser is the driver). You go to Jamie's house but he isn't there (seems like he has gone to Sweets house to change his make-up biggrin.gif) and you pick your sh*thole. You go to your friend's house, Chance (there is a chance that he will become a enemy too biggrin.gif). You ask him for a place to lay low so he gives you a pass to live in Jefferson Motel (don't do anything dirty, Leroy just like Carl biggrin.gif). You go and check your new room. Chance call's you and tell's you that he will give you job. His cell number has also changed (oh! too bad. Now how will he call the bitches?). Let's take some rest, motherf*cker biggrin.gif.

Difficulty: Easy- Driving is important. No action but will come in upcoming missions so sure to play TSOLK.

Variety: Good- Nice to keep realism and many cars here. No weapons but many skin. One side bad but one side good. Well Done and improve more next time. icon14.gif

Overall- 12.5/15

Sorry for not Reviewing your other missions but I did this to improve in those weak points. I guess there aren't any weak points biggrin.gif. You did well than last time. This Mission Pack look's promising. Sure to play it to encourage this new guy. You will surely become a awsome designer. So this was another Review from John12 (ah, I know. This review is short. Don't worry, next review will be of Jimmy's The Runaway biggrin.gif). Thanks for reading, guys.

----------------------

@SF: Seems like Nitesh will do so I don't think i need to do, i will do Jimmy's smile.gif.

Hello everyone, this is KaRzY6 with another DYOM mission review. Today I'm going to play mission 1 & 2 from the series LSPD Stories, created by Junior123456789.

Link - http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showtopic=489226

Writing Very good The writing was very good. With very little spelling or grammar mistakes. If there was any, it was still very clear what it said.

Presentation Excellent The cutscenes were great. They were on the perfect angle and degree to see all the action. The animations used were great and were appropriately used.

Life In Los Santos (Mission 1)

Quick Walkthrough You are Mike Harrison, an officer at the LSPD. The city is calm and not much happening. Mike is sitting in the park across the road from the LSPD. His friend Trent, another officer, asks Mike if he wants to go for a drive. Meanwhile at a food shop down the road, vagos are robbing it. Mike and Trent drive there in a red buffalo to get something to eat. When they walk in, they realise it's getting robbed. They kill 3 of the 4 vagos. One gets away and jumps in his car outside. So Mike and Trent chase the 4th vago and kill him. Once that's done, you's go back to the LSPD. Mission Complete.

Length Decent The mission can be completed in about 4 minutes.

Difficulty Easy The mission only involves killing 3 vagos and a drive-by.

Variety Very good The variety was very good. It featured.....

  • Weapons - 9mm, Uzi and AK47.
  • Vehicles - Red buffalo, yellow sentinel and yellow perenniel.
  • Pickups - None
  • Objects - None
  • Actors - Mike Harrison(Pulaski), Trent(desert sheriff), vagos, man in suit and a young ladies.

War-House (Mission 2)

Quick Walkthrough Mike is in the Police Station and another officer, Lawarance, has a job for Mike. Mike has to go kill some vagos. Lawarance then leaves and Mike has to grab his 'stuff'. Then goes to the garage and gets in the Police car. Mike has to go to a warehouse at the bottom of town (The place in the mission 'Grey Imports', Near Ocean Docks). When he gets there, the entrance is lockes, but Mike knows another way in. Once he gets in, he kills all the vagos there. And he destroys a drug van (I think ???). Mission Complete.

Length Very Good The mission's length is very good, as it can be completed in 7-9 minutes.

Difficulty Medium The mission was about medium in difficulty. As some of the vagos have much more powerful gun (E.g shotgun, AK47).

Variety Good The variety is good. It includes....

  • Weapons - 9mm, Tec9 (I think??), Uzi, SMG, shotgun and AK47.
  • Vehicles - White and black police car and a red van.
  • Pickups - 9mm, armor, health and SMG (hidden).
  • Objects - None
  • Actors - Mike Harrison(Pulaski), Lawarance(Tenpenny), vagos.

Rate - 8.5/10. Great work Junior, here's a cookie cookie.gif Keep up the good work icon14.gif

Hello everyone,

Today, I'm going to review 6 missions made by SatournFan. They're part of his Life In San Diablo series.

Please click on the link below in order to view the topic and find links to download them:

http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showtopic=493368

Now, it's time for the review,

- Writing: Very Good. There were no noticeable grammar and spelling mistakes. The dialogues very easy to understand.

- Presentation: Good, The cutscenes timing were perfect, and all the actors were given different animations to make them more lively. However there should have been teleport objective kept when there was hiding and spawning of actors in between the cutscenes so as to prevent the actors appearing or disappearing in the cutscenes.

How it all began...

- Length: Good, as it can be done in about 5 minutes. First the player plays as Joe, who goes and picks up Matt from the airport. Joe tells Matt about the rising dominance of the French, and Matt readily agrees to help the gang fight against the French. Then the player plays as Matt, who has to drive back to the Family House.

- Difficulty: Easy. The only gameplay involved in driving to and from the airport.

- Variety:Could be better. Characters include Joe and Matt. Vehicles include Bravura.

Gangsters from 35th Street

- Length: Good, as it can be done in about 5 minutes. The player, Matt, and Joe goes to the 35th Street Dorm where they meet up with TJ. They have a small chat and then TJ tells Matt to get a package from a dealer. The player has to find the package and return to TJ and then home.

- Difficulty: Easy. Most of the gameplay is driving, and there is a time limit which is very easy.

- Variety:Decent. Characters include Matt, Joe, TJ and Dealer. Vehicles include Bravura and Sanchez.

Night rider

- Length: Decent, as it can be done in about 4 minutes. The player, Matt has to win a race against three other drivers.

- Difficulty: Easy. The route points for the cars are very buggy and this makes the race very easy to win.

- Variety:Good. Characters include Matt, TJ, Joe and Loc. Vehicles include 4 different cars.

Loc of the locked

- Length: Very long, as it takes about 21 minutes to complete. The player, Matt, and his gang has to save to Loc from the French kidnappers. The shoot-outs mainly contribute to the length.

- Difficulty: Too hard!! All the enemies have high health and the headshot is turned off. The accuracy of the enemies and number makes the mission very hard. And on top of that there is the annoying wanted level, so the player has to stay safe from both the enemies and the police.

- Variety:Very good. Characters include Matt, Joe, TJ, French, Loc and the kidnapper. Vehicles include Sultan and Bravura. Weapons include uzi, SMG and M14. A wall object is also there.

Show on Fruit Valley

- Length: Long, as it takes about 15 minutes to complete the mission. The player, Matt, and Joe goes to the Fruit Valley to kill the French leader. The guards outside the house are heavily guarded so you have to get the armour first. Then clear the guards who are outside the building and then kill the ones that are inside the house. However in the end the leader John, escapes.

- Difficulty: Very Hard. All the enemies have high health and the headshot is turned off. The accuracy of the enemies and number makes the mission very hard. And on top of that there is the annoying wanted level, so the player has to stay safe from both the enemies and the police.

- Variety:Very good. Characters include Matt, Joe, French and John. Weapons include SMG, M14, uzi, Sniper rifle. Vehicles include Bravura.

O'Pirelli

- Length: Very good, as it takes about 7 minutes to complete the mission. The player, Matt, gets a call from Loc that he has a meeting with the Pirellis and needs him as a guard. The meeting goes bad as the Pirellis tries to kill Matt and Loc. They, then have to escape from there.

- Difficulty: Medium. The gameplay involved is only driving. There is a bike with the Pirellis chasing you, but it is easy to lose them.

- Variety:Decent. Characters include Matt, Loc and the Pirellis. Vehicles include Bravura and a PCJ. Weapons include SMG.

Overall, the missions are very good and fun to play. The difficulty of the missions and variety of gameplay gives the missions a lot of replay value. If you are looking for something that involves a lot of gameplay, this is the best mission pack for you. The author should have kept the maximum wanted level low so that the difficulty reduces a bit. The length of the mission mainly increases because of the high difficulty of the missions. Otherwise the length of the missions was perfect.

Hello guys, today i will review your favourite designer's mission, The Runaway by Jimmy_Leppard. Let me tell bit about him. He is an awsome designer. He can make awsome missions in seconds. I guess LCJ and Jimmy and brothers. Jimmy had started some awsome projects like Multi-Designer mission packs ans BTH (Brian Thompsons Heist). Learn from these fellows. He is a pro so 15 marks. Review Time!

Writing: Excellent- Ah! No mistakes. Taken good care of words. The dialouges were awesome. They were running with the cutscenes.

Presentation: Excellet- Want to give *** too but not allowed. Awesome! All cutscenes, the action, the emotions. Everything was icon14.gif leaving Realism. Hope you work on that.

Totally, there are 8 missions.

The beginning (Please take your seats as the show will start within 20 min and don't forget cheese popcorns, those are my favourite smile.gif.)

Length: Good- You are Jeef Parker working for a secret agency. They give you operations. You needed to kill a 17 years old boy (sh*t! why to do that? he is reaching to the age of 18 where he can enjoy many things (18+) biggrin.gif). You don't do that and General Mills orders his men to kill you and that boy. That boy ran away but you will take the shots (notify.gif why did we spare that child?). You need to survive (of course, you will tounge.gif). General makes you the enemy of the state (which state? San Andreas, assholes). Now you need to Runaway (as the title says) from everyone. The Movie begins!

Difficulty: Easy- Nothing but cutscenes. Only a small gunfight and that's all.

Variety: Decent- Nothing much. It was filled with nice animations but the realism was missing. Let's see other missions too. Keep 'em coming!

Wingman (Wings + Man = Man has wings or we can say - Wingman)

Length: Good- Now you go to your friends house, Spencer Wing. You call him Wingman (really cool name). You ask him for help and he helps (everyone helps, even General Mills if his skin was for Spencer -_-). You go to his house and he gives you clothes (not the one which he is wearing lol.gif). You go back to his store and take a weapon. Just then he tells you about his problems. One of those were Stan Hart. You go and teach him a lesson (Yaaa!!) but with your fists not with MP5 (notify.gif)! You teach him a lesson and return. This act has warned General about the location of Jeff. What will happen now?

Difficulty: Easy- Easy-Peasy. You can handle driving and fist battle too. So easy.

Variety: Good- Getting DYOM-legs, laddy (sea-legs)? Keep it up and improve more.

Don't be a Fool (I am not motherf*cker biggrin.gif)

Length: Very Good- Now you need some wheels. You go to Wingy's (it's really huge to type Spencer so Wingy) friend house, Lou. He is master in cars (let me see... he can beat me? He doesn't even have a nitro gas! Not talking about the human gas biggrin.gif). He will give you the car but... but but but! You know, challange. After beating the challange, you get the car. In the house, Wingy gets a call from Stan saying that some ary fellows will give his 100,000$ if he brings Jeff mercie_blink.gif. What is going on? Want to know then play The Runaway!

Difficulty: Medium- Cars means travelling. The challange will be hard because of the place. If you hit, no boom but sh*t. Take care!

Variety: Good- Passing the gates isn't hard. Just focus on Realism. Animations were blowing me at 600 knots.

Stay Away (Ewww... sh*t)

Length: Very Good- Wingy tells you that Stan phoned ahead. Jeff isn't satisfied. He decides to leave LV. But he doesn't knows that he has a suprise (happy birthday... oh shut up! it is bad one). General had sent some men to SF at Jeff's house because he knew that he would Runaway from LV. Wingy comes with you (this is what called true friendship!). You don't get satisfied to see army near your house so you decide to go to your brother's house, Rick (don't worry, he isn't a prick biggrin.gif). A brother meeting another brother after 5 years, what will be the reactions? Meanwhile, General himself goes to Stan and says he will give him 200,000$ if he brings Jeff and Spencer (each) mercie_blink.gif. OMFG, what will happen? This series always leaves you what will happen.

Difficulty: Easy- Just a small gameplay of driving or else cutscenes.

Variety: Good- Well done in keeping the pace but Realism... never mind because animations were excellent.

Desert Sheep (Baghhhhhh)

Lenght: Very Good- You stay in Rick's house. Wingy get's a phone and f*ck it! Stan knows that we all are in Rick's house. What will happen? Army comes and questions Rick. Jeff and Wingy go out of the house. Meanwhile you do some risky sh*t, planting a sapling. You will know soon what type of sapling it is ^_^. You and Wingy stay at a distance. When they went, sh*t happened. Want to know what? Play the game or find in this Review. This won't be good for General because Media will come. The operation was a secret. Which operation? Play The Runaway!

Difficulty Very Easy- Only Cutscenes. So, nothing much

Variety: Very Good- Good. I think you know that what is more precious, Cutscenes but Realism is first. Increase more in Realism and you will leave alf behing ^_^ (no offence, guys).

Evacuating the City (oh! sh*t!, here we come to first twist!)

Length: Very Good- It feels like nothing is good so you decide to go Bayside. General is coming.. Rick and you see your faces last time cryani.gif. Time to go! You go to Gant Bridge but things aren't well out there. General men are checking everyone in the car (f*ck off, dude). You go from the other side but gaurds are watching. You do Stealth. After reaching to the top, you steal the militry jeep (oh well, didn't expected that cops themselves don't lock their cars tounge.gif) and f*ck off to Bayside! TWIST!Meanwhile at Rick's house. General reaches there and ask about Jeff but Rick doesn't give a f*ck again he asked but.. he gave a gun to Stan and gone out. Stan holding the gun... Dhichkyouu...TWIST! Will Jeff find out what happened to his brother ever again?

Difficulty: Medium- Driving isn't important but action is. Stealt action! Gotta remember the lesson that teacher taught us about Stealth. Don't ever touch their body! Forget about Wingy for sometime until you reach to the top. 3 stationary gaurds and one running dog (not CJ biggrin.gif). Good Luck as it might be hard.

Variety: Excellent- Well Done here, Jimmy. Realism was there and comedy too. Many objects, cars, actors and animations were there. Keep 'em coming!

Bayside Hotel

Length: Good- You don't even f*ck about it that Stan is coming to Bayside. You find a hotel nearby. Stan said to that Hotel Manager phone ahed if Jeff and his friends arrive. You go meet with him and he let you stay (wow, really good guy) and phones Stan (wow, really bad guy tounge.gif). You Don't let that happen (mama knows you have been naughty!). You say that Stan is bad and we are undercover agents (pointing a gun at people). He phones now to cops (oh sh*t!). You kill them and run back to LV. Stan isn't satisfied as it is attracting more people. He needs to eliminate Jeff! NOw or Never!

Difficulty: Easy- The mission has cutscenes and a small gunfight. It will be easy even without cover.

Variety: Decent- Mamamia.... sh*t! Fallen down. Man, why did you kept everything soft and smooth? Never Mind, improve more on Realism. Sorry, Jimmy sad.gif

Cat and mouse (Tom and Jerry)

Length: Very Good- You reach to the outskirts of city. Wingy calls Lou to pick 'em up. You take some breath at his house. He finds out that you are having problem with General. He tells you that his friend has some tools for him so you go and bring it. After going, he calls ??? to tell about Jeff. You go there, nothing is much out there when finally you LOL.. no no i mean, get busted! You meet with Agent Holding who wants General behind the bars. He gives you two choices- either stay in jail for 35 years notify.gif or help in busting General wink.gif. You choose the second (of course). He gets happy. He also tells that Lou is in team (doubt clear). Now what will happen to General?

Difficulty: Easy- Driving or else Cutscenes.

Variety: Very Good- Lol.. Lol.. I can't stop lolong because of your mixture. SF and LS guys coming out from LV Police car, that's just lol. Realism was packed a bit. Good Job, Jimmy.

Overall- 13.5/15

Awesome missions, man. Found another great guy! You have the magic of making missions. Just work a bit hard on realism and you will leave LCJ behind (no offence, guys tounge2.gif). Good Luck with your other projects too. So, this was another review from John12. More reviews on way! Thanks for reading, guys.

I will be happy to do the review of the whole pack but I will not be in touch with the PC for a long time. So it's better that someone else do the rest... unless you wait.

@John

We can't compare ourselves because your reviews are funny to read while mine are serious. I like doing them like AznKei. So it all depends on what the reader prefers. By the way, I like your reviews. icon14.gif

Alright guys,today i'm going to review a mission made by KaRzY6,The Story of Leroy Kingston.Mission number 3 & 4,which is 52 & Collin & Drug Dealer

-Writting:Very Good, they are written perectly good grammar and coloing text icon14.gif

-Presentation:Good,i don't say very good because less cutscene are used,it used many timeout smile.gif

-Length:Good,i'm done it maybe in 1 - 2 minute, cause the mission not too long but it has an interesting storyline icon14.gif

-Difficulty:Medium,Both of the mission series have a different difficulty, like in Drug Dealer,we must defeat the ballas using only a baseball bat without armor, but the ballas are using guns, that's the interesting part, make's the mission more challanging & twisting icon14.gif

-Variety:Decent,almost all the actor's and playable character using the skin that we seen while playing the original mission of San Andreas, like Leroy, the main character, use the skin of Ryder

Overall,the mission are cool,very fun to play & icon14.gificon14.gificon14.gificon14.gif 5 thumbs up.Great job KaRzY6,for designing this mission ! Keep it up ! biggrin.gif
