Dear reviewers,

a couple of days ago I finished my first ever storyline mission pack, it contains eight missions and I was wondering if any of you could find the time to play through a couple and review them so that I can get a better understanding of where I can still improve.

The mission pack is about 3 friends that rob a betting shop and get away with 300.000 cash. The money however is not that easily earned. You can find the missions in this topic here:

http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showtopic=480187

thnx in advance

Hello everyone,

Today, I'm going to review 5 missions made by asp. They're part of his Medal of Honor: RAGE series.

Please click on the following link in order to download the mission pack: http://dyom.gtagames.nl/?act=show&id=13218 .

Now, it's time for the review,

- Writing: Excellent, as everything is pretty much well written, with the right sentences and punctuations. Although not really necessary, it would be better to have some text colorings as well.

- Presentation: Very Good. Nice viewing and timing between different cutscenes. Most of the cutscenes are used for mission briefings, so there's nothing crazy or over the top to be seen.

Part 1 / The Cold War

- Length: Long, as it can be done in 16 minutes. The player plays as an unnamed US army soldier, and he has been tasked by his commander to shut down a russian ATC machine at the enemy airbase (Las Venturas airport) and escape the area from the russian army soldiers by jacking up a plane. After he must steal a book containing important information from the Russian Police Department (LVPD) and park the car into a nearby parking lot to collect the rewards from an agent.

- Difficulty: Normal. The enemies carry different weapons and have average accuracies. Fortunately, the player carry an m4, has a larger bar and armor so he can takes a lot of punishments. Due of the length of the mission, it is best to avoid any careless mistakes or the player has to redo the long mission again.

- Variety: Excellent. The characters include the US army soldiers using the swat model, the Russian army soldiers using the army, rural and LVPD officers models and a few Russian scientists. The weapons include ak-47, mp5, micro-uzi, pistol, desert eagle, dildo, m4 and parachute. The vehicles include hunters, airport planes and few passenger cars. The items and objects include like fences, crates, computer cabinets, healthpacks and armor.

Part 2 / The Reactor

- Length: Excellent, as it can be done in 13 minutes. The player as the unnamed US soldier has been tasked by the commander via the radio to shut down their nuclear reactor and disable warheads from a Russian nuclear reactor (Las Venturas army base) and escape the area with a speedboat, while at the same time losing the heat the pier south of the city.

- Difficulty: Hard. The enemies carry different weapons and have average accuracies. However in this mission, the player also must fight against 2 enemy hunters with the rocket and homing launchers, which can be tough as the enemy missiles can do massive damage to the player. Not to mention that the wanted level is enabled during the shootout, including the auto-generated 5 wanted star level during the speedboat escape sequence.

- Variety: Excellent. The characters include the US army soldiers using the swat model, the Russian army soldiers using the army, rural and LVPD officers models and a few Russian scientists. The weapons include ak-47, m4, pistol, rocket launcher and homing launcher. The vehicles include hunters, airport planes and few passenger cars. The items and objects include like fences, crates, computer cabinets, healthpacks and armor.

Part 3 / In the Amazon

- Length: Excellent, as it can be done in 12 minutes. The player as the unnamed US soldier has been tasked by commander via the radio to locate the Russian communication headquarters inside the South American jungle (south-west countryside) and disable it.

- Difficulty: Hard. The enemies carry different weapons and have average accuracies. However, some of them carry miniguns in which can do massive damage to the player. Kill them all from a distance with an m4 in order to avoid of getting hit by their fire shots.

- Variety: Excellent. The characters include the US army soldiers using the swat model, the Russian army soldiers using the army, rural and LVPD officers models and a few Russian scientists. The weapons include ak-47, mp5, micro-uzi, minigun, sawn-off shotgun, rocket launcher and m4. The vehicles include passenger cars. The items and objects include like construction crane towers, crates, computer cabinets, explosions, healthpacks and armor.

Part 4 / The City

- Length: Excellent, as it can be done in 12 minutes. The player as the unnamed US soldier has been tasked by the commander via the radio to kill a Russian general who is attempting to leave the Russian city (Las Venturas) with his plane. Also during the mission, he must kill all the Russians and get a keycard from the motel at Roca escalante to unlock the Caligula's casino entrance. Then, he must get the confidential documents at the casino vault room, which tells him to stop the illegal weapon shipment at the entrepot (Smoke's palace).

- Difficulty: Excellent. The characters include the US army soldiers using the swat model and the Russian army soldiers using the army, rural and LVPD officers models. The weapons include mp5, micro-uzi, m4, ak-47, pistol, silenced gun and camera. The vehicle includes the player's passenger car. The items and objects include like fences, crates, keycard, briefcase, healthpacks and armor.

Part 5 / The Showdown

- Length: Too short, as it can be done in 1 minute. The player as the unnamed US soldier and his comrades has been tasked to kill the remaining Russian soldiers at the desert (el castillo del diablo).

- Difficulty: Easy. The enemies carry ak-47 with average accuracies. There's a lot of them so as your allies. Aim to their heads for massive quick kills.

- Variety: Decent. The characters include the US army soldiers using the swat model and the Russian army soldiers using the army models. The weapons include ak-47 and m4. The items includes armor.

Overall, the missions are very good icon14.gif . Most of the length of the missions are mainly due of their many objectives and the obstacles such as the enemies in large numbers that slows down the player's progress considerably. Because of these consecutively long missions, they can be tedious for an average player. Nonetheless, the author did a great job for designing these missions and must keep up the good work biggrin.gif .

Hello everyone,

Today, I'm going to review 3 missions made by Nitesh aka AAAAAAA. They're part of his Hitman series.

The missions can be downloaded at this following link: http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showtopic=478339

Now, it's time for the review,

- Writing: Very Good, as it is very well written with few typing and punctuation mistakes. Also nice text colorings.

- Presentation: Very Good. Nice timing and viewing accuracy between each cutscenes. The cutscenes are mainly used for interactions between different characters and to understand better the storyline. So, there's no crazy or jaw-dropping scenes to be expected.

Pure business

- Length: Decent, as it can be done in 4 minutes. The player plays as Agent 002, and he has been tasked by another agent who later named David to kill some army soldiers and steal their tank at the north edge of Muholland, Los Santos.

- Difficulty: Hard. The enemies carry m4's and have very good accuracies which can be troublesome for the player as his initial weapons lack the range. Also the tank that he must drive is not indestructible so it might explode after a certain amount of damage. The wanted level is also enabled, which means that a 3 star wanted level will most likely happen and the police maverick will further damage the player. Kill the enemies quick is the best option.

- Variety: Good. The characters include Agent 002, the army soldiers, David and his agent's goons with helmets. The weapons include silenced pistol, mp5 and m4. The vehicles include barrack, patriot and tank.

new home

- Length: Very Good, as it can be done in 7 minutes. The player Agent 002 has been tasked by David to kill the bikers at their HQ in Verdant Bluffs, Los Santos, including their leader who attempts to escape. Then 002 return back to David's mansion to reclaim 001 freedom, only to be trapped by David's goons.

- Difficulty: Hard. The enemies carry m4's and have very good accuracies which can be troublesome for the player as his initial weapons lack the range. The wanted level is also enabled, which means that police interference can annoy the player attempts to stealth killing. Kill the enemies quick is the best option.

- Variety: Good. The characters include Agent 002, the bikers, David and his agent's goons with helmets. The weapons include silenced pistol, tec-9, knife, mp5 and m4. The vehicles include blue motorbikes.

Saving the boss

- Length: Very Good, as it can be done in 8 minutes. The player 002 heads to Maddogg's mansion at Muholland in order to save 001 from David's guards. In this mission, Agent 001's identity will be revealed.

- Difficulty: Hard. The enemies have very good accuracies which can be troublesome as the main action happens inside Maddogg's mansion which is full of corridors. To make things worse, some of them carry miniguns which can kill the player very quick. Fortunately, the wanted level is disabled. Kill the enemies as quick as possible with the most effective weapons.

- Variety: Very Good. The characters include Agent 002, Agent 001, David and his agent's goons with helmets. The weapons include knife, silenced gun, sniper, armor, tec-9 and minigun. The vehicles include Agent 001's car. The items and objects include a metallic door and a "radioactive" explosive.

Overall, the missions are good icon14.gif . Unlike his past missions, these missions focuses less on exploration but more into massive killings as most objectives are shown on the GPS map. Nonetheless, the author did a good job for designing these missions and must keep the good work biggrin.gif .

Could anyone Review my Very First Mission, Silent Witness. I would like some feedback as I am only getting use to the features of and i have only had it for a day. Bear in Mind it is quite difficult.

Hello everyone,

Today, I'm going to review a mission made by Deli2000. Its called Silent Witness.

The mission can be downloaded at this following link:

http://dyom.gtagames.nl/?act=show&id=13410

Now, it's time for the review,

- Writing: GoodThere were no noticable mistakes in the writing.

- Presentation: Good. Although the cutscenes are few, they are used to explain the story better.

- Length: Good, as it takes about 6 minutes to complete the mission. The player first has to find and kill Cataline

before 5 minutes are over, and then go back home under a two star wanted level only to find that the SWAT has already reached there. So the player has to follow some checkpoints while the cars with SWAT are chasing the player. Then The player has to go home and kill the remaining SWAT members.

- Difficulty: Normal. The time limit to kill cataline is a lot so there is no problem in that. Also its quite easy

to loose the SWAT cars chasing you. The only part where it becomes hard is when you have to kill the SWAT members after you have reached home.

- Variety: Decent. Actors include CJ, Catalina, Sweet, Big Smoke, Swat members. Weapons include SMG, grenades, mini-gun, Sawn off shot gun. Cars include elegant.

Overall, the missions are good icon14.gif Although the author has to make sure he hides the enemies that are not necessarily supposed to be killed before setting up the 'Kill all enemies' objective. This makes sure that enemies in previous objectives that are far away have not to be killed. However, considering that this was the first mission by the author, the author did a good job, and must continue with the good work. biggrin.gif .

Hello everyone,

Today, I'm going to review a mission made by Secronom President. The mission is part of his The story of Samuel Garret series.

The mission can be downloaded at this following link:

http://dyom.gtagames.nl/?act=show&id=13350

Now, it's time for the review,

Zombies and Infected

- Writing: GoodThere were no noticable mistakes in the writing. And aslo nice text colourings.

- Presentation: Good. They are used to explain the story better. Animations that have been used makes the cutscenes lively.

- Length: Long, as it can be done in about 17 minutes. The player has to clear the rooms which are full of security guards and clowns. Although the main objective is just killing, it can take a lot of time as the enemies are many and you have to look for cover everytime the health runs low.

- Difficulty: Very hard. The enemies carry very powerful weapons like shotguns, Rocket launchers, AK 47 and they also have good accuracies. Also there are four allies with the player and all of them are set to must survive and that makes the mission really hard because apart from taking care of yourself you also have to take care of the allies.

- Variety: Very good. Actors include Samuel, Swawn, Jack, Security guards, Clowns. Weapons include rocket launchers, AK 47, SMG, Sawn off Shotguns, Chainsaws. Objects includes a wall. Pickups include health, armour.

Overall, the missions are good :^:The mission generally is really hard and suits very much for those people who like gunfights. It is really recommended for those people who likes difficult shootout missions which involves use of powerful weapons. Nonetheless, the author relly did a good job designing the missions and, of course, must continue his good job.biggrin.gif .

Hello everyone,

Today, I'm going to review 4 missions made by TheDru1d. These missions are part of his Rags to Riches storyline.

The missions can be downloaded at: http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showtopic=480187 .

Now, it's time to review these missions,

- Writing: Excellent, as they're pretty much well written with the right structure and punctuations. Also, nice text colorings that are mainly used to highlight the character names and objectives.

- Presentation: Excellent. Nice viewing and timing between different cutscenes. There's also a noticeable amount of objects and animations that can be found in these missions, which make the missions much more alive and different.

Rags to Riches

- Length: Excellent, as it can be done in 12 minutes. The player plays as Dirk, and along with with his wife Bambi and his cousin Ron, are starting a new life by getting some weapons from ammunation and the Ballas and start robbing money at the local betting shop in Los Santos. Most of the mission length involves traveling into many places.

- Difficulty: Hard. The enemies have powerful weapons with very good accuracies. Also, while the player has a shotgun, it's less effective against enemies with high hp and no headshot options, especially when they're together. The best option is to kill them one at a time from a distance. There's also a 5 star wanted level which is actually less scary because of the lack of traffic, so proceed to the destination carefully.

- Variety: Good. The characters include Dirk, Bambi, Ron, the Ballas members, the betting shop employees and the LSPD. The weapons include m4, shotgun, combat shotgun and country rifle. The vehicle includes Dirk's own car.

Back to Rags

- Length: Good, as it can be done in 6 minutes. The player Dirk, Ron and Bambi forgot their robbed money at the back of their car from the abandonned restaurant and find out that their car dissappeared once they got outside. They must get the clues in order to find them.

- Difficulty: Normal. There's less enemies to deal in this mission. However, one enemy is on his car while the surroundings is full of explosive barrels. Stay away from that area while at the same time, run away from the incoming car, while looking from a safe place where the enemy car can't reach you. Also, this mission can requires logic and exploration in order to progress.

- Variety: Good. The characters include Dirk, Bambi, Ron, a hobo ped and a drug dealer. The weapons include m4 and mp5. The vehicles include the drug dealer's car and bikes. The objects include crates, boxes, pizza and explosive barrels.

Lost

- Length: Excellent, as it can be done in 10 minutes. The player Dirk and Ron are looking for the Hobo who might stole their robbed money near the LSPD HQ when the boss of the recently killed drug dealer wants his revenge against the duo with his goons. After Dirk goes to the stadium from Bambi via his cellphone when he learns that his wife has been kidnapped by some strangers.

- Difficulty: Hard. The enemies have powerful weapons with very good accuracies. Also, while the player has a shotgun, it's less effective against enemies with high hp and no headshot options. The best option is to kill them one at a time from a distance. Also, your ally Ron can be annoying as he goes straight to the places who are most likely to be killed, hence failing the mission. Watch out of the enemy who throws molotov cocktails.

- Variety: Very Good. The characters include Dirk, Ron, the drug dealer associates and a kidnapping witness. The weapons include ak-47, smoke grenade, molotov cocktails, micro-uzi, tec-9, and shotgun. The vehicle includes Dirk's own car. The objects include crates, boxes and explosive barrels.

Information

- Length: Very Good, as it can be done in 8 minutes. The player Dirk tells Ron about Bambi's kidnapping and the latter tells to meet a illegal race sponsorer named Gianni at the tunnel of south Los Santos. Gianni wants Dirk to pass both the beginning and pro race which requires fast car and driving precision.

- Difficulty: Hard. There's no shootout in this mission. However, the racing part can be less forgiving for penalty, since the pro race is full of explosive barrels, while at the same time, have a strict time limit. Memorization and precise timing is key of success in this mission.

- Variety: Very Good. The characters include Dirk, Ron, Gianni and the racing participants and spectators. The weapon includes shotgun. The vehicle includes Dirk's own car and many different racing cars. The objects include crates, boxes, ramps and explosive barrels.

Overall, the missions are good icon14.gif . The missions can be quite hard and annoying for the average players, especially because of the enemy high accuracies and the explosive barrels. Otherwise, good job for the author and keep up the good work biggrin.gif .

Hello everyone,

Today, I'm going to play 4 missions made by Doublepulse. They're part of the chapter 3 of his Las Venturas Crew series.

Please go to the following link in order to download the missions: http://dyom.gtagames.nl/?act=show&id=13387 .

Now, it's time for the review,

- Writing: Excellent, as they're pretty much perfectly well written, and if it does have some typing mistakes, it is hardly noticeable for the overall experience.

- Presentation: Very Good. Great timing and viewing accuracy between different cutscenes. There's a lot of characters, objects, and vehicles in which give a lot of life into this storyline.

Los Santos Prison

- Length: Decent, as it can be done in 4 minutes. The player plays as Markus, who recently got into Los Santos prison by killing Officer Parker. At his cell, he meets a homeless guy named Leo, who latter task him to fight against another prisoners at the recess period in the LSPD parking lot.

- Difficulty: Easy. The main action focuses on brawl fighting. One thing that the player would notice is that the prisoners are fighting each other, which means that some of them are allies while the others the enemies, but they're hardly identifiable. So just knock everyone out except Leo and you are good to go.

- Variety: Very Good. The characters include Markus, Leo, the LSPD officers, swats and the prisoners as various pedestrian models. The weapons include pool cue, metal knuckle and desert eagle. The vehicles include LSPD and Swat cars. The object includes fences.

Williams to the Rescue!

- Length: Very Good, as it can be done in 8 minutes. The protagonist Markus got scheduled for his execution by the LSPD officers, when his father, as the player, Officer Williams (Tenpenny) came to the site from his vacation. He notices his son and together with him must escape the law enforcements by heading into their house in Las Venturas.

- Difficulty: Normal. The enemies have average accuracies. However the LSPD headquarters is a very compact area with very little room to cover, so the player would be likely get hit by the enemy shots, not to mention that some of the enemies aren't head-shot-able. Fortunately, the player has Markus to assist Williams into the gunfight.

- Variety: Very Good. The characters include Markus, Officer Williams, the LSPD officers and swats. The weapons include ak-47, m4, mp5, pistol and shotgun. The vehicles include LVPD, LSPD and Swat cars. The objects include fences and control panels.

The Family Night Out

- Length: Good, as it can be done in 6 minutes. The player Markus has been tasked by his dad Officer Williams to bring his family and relatives into a place dinner (Small casino) with their borrowed bus. Unfortunately, their peace were interrupted by the Russian mafia members who want Markus's head.

- Difficulty: Normal. The main action of this mission focuses on a big shootout between the Russian mafia and Markus family. The enemies carry powerful weapons and have very good accuracies. Fortunately, the area have a large amount of healthpacks and armors. Also hiding at the rear side of the pool tables are the best place to cover against enemy fires.

- Variety: Very Good. The characters include Markus, Officer Williams, his family members and relatives and the Russian mafia members. The weapons include tec-9, micro-uzi, mp5, m4, ak-47, pistol and desert eagle. The vehicle includes Markus borrowed bus. The items include healthpacks and armors.

They Got Themselves a Deal!

- Length: Good, as it can be done in 6 minutes. The player Markus has been tasked by his dad Williams, along with commander Frank (Buff Agent) to investigate a weapon deal made between the Russian mafia and the Vietnamese gangs at the parking lot in Four Dragons casino, Las Venturas.

- Difficulty: Easy. The main action of this mission focuses on taking sight of the enemies activities while being unnoticed, which means no shootouts or any lethal actions to do. Just go to the designated objectives in order to progress the storyline.

- Variety: Excellent. The characters include Markus, Officer Williams, Commander Frank, the Russian mafia members, the Vietnamese gang members and some thugs. The weapons include camera, ak-47, m4, mp5, micro-uzi and shotgun. The vehicles include Frank sport's car and the enemy gangs cars. The objects include Cargos, drug packages and wheeled escalator.

Overall, the missions are very good icon14.gif . They're fun and balanced enough to be enjoyable for an average player and the storyline keeps getting interesting. Great job for the author for designing these missions and keep up the great work biggrin.gif .

Game mostly crashes at this mission, so skip this one, don't need for further in the storyline

AznKei, thanks very much for the reviews, really really appreciated. Maybe the missions are a bit challenging at times. As the creator this is less of a problem for me as I know where every enemy actor is. I have to keep this in mind when making my next mission pack.

Can I post the reviews in the storyline topic, with credits ofc.

edit: by the way, in the mission 'Back to Rags' you can shoot the driver through the window with the shotgun if you aim well. And the car will stop and not hit the barrels.

Hello everyone,

Today, I'm going to play 3 missions made by Notna. They're part of his GTA: Las Venturas series.

Please click on the following missions below in order to download them:

- Bandits Invasion

- Getting Ready

- One Man Army

Now, it's time for the review,

- Writing: Good, as it is generally well written, despite some noticeable mistakes such as the lack of punctuations and grammatical tenses. Fortunately, it's clear enough to understand the series storyline.

- Presentation: Very Good. Nice timing and viewing accuracies between each different cutscenes. The missions also have a good amount of animations, vehicles, actors and weapons which made them more alive.

Bandits Invasion

- Length: Short, as it can be done in 3 minutes. The player plays as Ken, and he has been tasked by Tim to fight against Loc's goons (Los Varrios) at Tim's house in Prickle pine, north of Las Venturas.

- Difficulty: Normal. The enemies have different weapons with average accuracies. Unfortunately, they're quite large in numbers, almost completely surrounds the player and some of them do drive-by shootings with their cars. Stay at the back of Tim's house for safety and lure them from there for a massive kill. Shoot at the gas tank of the enemy cars for massive damage.

- Variety: Good. The characters include Ken, Tim and Loc's goons. The vehicles include the Loc's goons cars. The weapons include shotgun, sniper, m4, ak-47, mp5, micro-uzi, tec-9 and pistol. The items include healthpack and armor.

Getting Ready

- Length: Good, as it can be done in 6 minutes. The player Ken and his allies Edward, Tim and Ozzie has been tasked to attack the Russian arms deal in Las Venturas airport and pick up their weapons.

- Difficulty: Hard. The enemies have average accuracies and are quite numerous. To make things worse, your allies have the headshot option and their survival are mandatory for passing the mission. So it is recommended to kill all the enemies one-by-one by going solo. Also, the wanted level is enabled making the whole shootout more tedious.

- Variety: Very Good. The characters include Ken, Tim, Edward, Ozzie and Loc's goons. The vehicles include the planes, Loc's goons and Ken's cars. The weapons include micro-uzi, tec-9, desert eagle, combat shotgun, pistol, mp5, ak-47 and m4. The items include healthpack and armor.

One Man Army

- Length: Good, as it can be done in 5 minutes. The player Ken and his allies are going to Las Venturas abattoir to kill Loc and his goons (Los Varrios) with their personal weaponry.

- Difficulty: Hard. The enemies have average accuracies and are quite numerous. To make things worse, your allies have the headshot option and their survival are mandatory for passing the mission. So it is recommended to kill all the enemies one-by-one by going solo. Also, the abattoir is a very narrow interior which makes the player more vulnerable to the enemy gunshots.

- Variety: Very Good. The characters include Ken, Tim, Edward, Ozzie, Loc and his goons. The vehicles Loc's goons and Ken's cars. The weapons include micro-uzi, tec-9, desert eagle, combat shotgun, pistol, mp5, ak-47 and m4. The items include healthpack and armor.

Overall, the missions are good icon14.gif . The only issue is that your allies can be headshotted, in which kinda ruined the whole teammate shootout experience by forcing the player to fight against hordes of enemies by itself. Otherwise, good job for the author and keep up the good work biggrin.gif .

Conquer the police station: Very hard (There's also an hunter who is trying to kill you!)

Raid the police station: Hard (You have to search for bags with money!)

Game mostly crashes at this mission, so skip this one, don't need for further in the storyline

Hello everyone,

Today, I'm going to review 4 missions made by Shoot-Boss. These missions are from his mission pack.

Please click on the following link in order to download them: http://www.mediafire.com/?m5g9w4qfv8d7pq9 .

Now, it's time for the review,

- Writing: Good, as they're generally well written with very few noticeable typing and writing mistakes. However, there's a not a lot of texts or dialogues in these missions.

- Presentation: Good. Nice timing and viewing accuracy between each different cutscenes. There's also a good amount of objects, vehicles, weapons in which makes these missions a little more lively, although some missions have some very nasty graphical glitches (Ghosts) or the objectives order look messed up (Conquer the police station).

Ghosts

- Length: Very Short, as it can be done in 2 minutes. The player plays as a no-name character (Maddogg's security guard) and he must escape against the drive-by enemies by going into the Los Santos downtown tunnel.

- Difficulty: Normal. By the time that the gameplay starts, the player will most likely to get run over by 2 enemy cars, while at the same time, are about to get blown off. Quickly get away from them in order to let these cars explode. After this and heading to the first checkpoint, he must go through the racing checkpoints in order to escape his enemies. Also, the graphical glitches makes the player walks through thin air which can be confusing to navigate over.

- Variety: Decent. The characters include the no-name guy and his enemy pursuers. The vehicles include the protagonist and the enemy cars. That's it.

Money gaining

- Length: Too short, as it can be done in 15 seconds. The player as a no-name character listens to his 2 buddies about the money gaining opportunities around Los Santos, while the 3 characters are walking through a narrow corridor.

- Difficulty: Very Easy. This is a cutscene-only mission with one or two objectives. Watch it and soon a MISSION PASSED! message appears.

- Variety: Could be better. The characters include the no-name guy and his 2 buddies. That's it.

Conquer the police station

- Length: Decent, as it can be done in 4 minutes. The no-name player wants to steal a large sum of money inside the LSPD parking lot, but to do so, he must kill an alliance of Russian gangs and the LSPD officers.

- Difficulty: Very Hard. The player must face the enemies inside their taxi cab, ambulance trucks and hunter helicopter. Not to mention the 4 wanted level which makes the whole law enforcements going into you. Due to a route points glitch the taxi cab will mostly collide into a wall, giving an opportunity to destroy it. After this, he must kill a horde of enemies, along with the hunter helicopter with the homing launcher and then head up into the last checkpoint.

- Variety: Very Good. The characters include the no-name guy, scripted pedestrians, the Russian gang members and LSPD officers. The vehicles include taxi cab, ambulance truck, swat truck and hunter helicopter. The weapons include homing laucher, desert eagle, pistol and tec-9. The objects include fences, crates and doors.

Rob the drugs house

- Length: Decent, as it can be done in 4 minutes. The no-name player has been tasked to kill all the drug dealers inside their crack house in Idlewood, along with their boss and steal their bags of money.

- Difficulty: Hard. The enemies have average accuracies but the crack house interior is far more dangerous due for his compact size, not to mention their 2500 hp, no headshot boss. Watch out for enemies throwing molotov cocktails and the drive-by enemy truck.

- Variety: Good. The characters include the no-name guy and drug dealers as various pedestrians. The vehicle includes the enemy truck. The weapons include molotov cocktails, pistol, silenced gun, knife, tec-9 and shotgun. The objects include crates, ramps and bag of money.

Overall the missions are decent. The main issue about of the mission pack is the lack of dialogues or texts to backup the whole storyline, which forces the player to use imagination in order to understand it. Also, the nasty graphical glitches makes the whole presentation looks less polished. It would be better if the author makes the missions independently instead of packing them into a storyline script in order to improve himself. Otherwise, nice try for the author for making these missions. smile.gif

Hello everyone,

Today, I'm going to review 3 missions made by maliksusanto. These missions are part of his Left 4 Dead 2nd part storyline.

Please go to the following link in order to download the mission pack: http://www.gtagarage.com/mods/show.php?id=16524 .

Now, it's time for the review,

- Writing: Good. While there isn't too many dialogues or long mission instructions. They're a noticeable amount of typing mistakes. Otherwise, good text colorings in order to make the readings a little bit easier.

- Presentation: Very Good. Nice viewing angle between different cutscenes. Since this series has a zombie apocalypse theme on it and it's based on the game with the same name, we could expect a lot of destructive stuffs going around. The author did a very good job for this by adding a lot of different actors, objects and vehicles.

Crash Course

- Length: Very Short, as it can be done in 2 minutes. The player plays as Bill and along with his allies Francis, Zoey and Louis, they're tasked to get into a safehouse in Hilltop farm countryside, north of Los Santos. While traveling they must fight against the infected, aka zombies.

- Difficulty: Easy. There's a lot of enemies but none of them carry any weapons, let alone firearms. Not to mention that the player and his allies all carry guns which make the mission a whole enemy slaughter fest. Watch out for the explosive barrels though.

- Variety: Very Good. The characters include the Left 4 Dead 1 survivors Bill, Zoey, Francis, Louis and the infected which are mostly pedestrians along with some zombified army soldiers. The weapons include mp5 and m4. The vehicles include a sport car and a lift plane. The objects include crates, boxes, explosive barrels and fires.

House of madness

- Length: Very Short, as it can be done in 2 minutes. The player Bill and his allies prepare themselves with better equipments before they get ambushed by the infected inside their safehouse. Once killing them all they must exit the house.

- Difficulty: Easy. There's a lot of enemies but none of them carry any weapons, let alone firearms. Not to mention that the player and his allies all carry guns which make the mission a whole enemy slaughter fest. As the action happens inside a safehouse, it is easy to get stuck and sometimes the player might accidentally enters some doors in which can bug the whole mission if not careful.

- Variety: Good. The characters include the Left 4 Dead 1 survivors Bill, Zoey, Francis, Louis and the infected which are mostly pedestrians along with some special actors such as Big Smoke. The weapons include m4, pistol, shotgun, armor, ak-47 and mp5. The object includes a door.

Finale The bridge

- Length: Short, as it can be done in 3 minutes. The player Bill and his allies exit the safehouse in order to escape the hilltop farm countryside from the infected, and are heading to Las Venturas for their next destination.

- Difficulty: Easy. There's a lot of enemies but none of them carry any weapons, let alone firearms. Not to mention that the player and his allies all carry guns which make the mission a whole enemy slaughter fest. Be careful though as the action happens in a hilly terrain in the player and his allies can be injured by falling.

- Variety: Very Good. The characters include the Left 4 Dead 1 survivors Bill, Zoey, Francis, Louis and the infected which are mostly pedestrians along with some special actors such as Carl Johnson. The weapons include m4 and ak-47. The vehicles include some cars, along with an LSPD enforcer. The objects include fences and construction guard rail.

Overall the mission are good icon14.gif . For those who are familiar or played the original Left 4 Dead games would notice the similarity the original and the author mission storylines, although the gameplays from both are different. So unfortunately there's no medkits, pills or noise bombs, as they're replaced with GTA items and weapons. Otherwise, good job for the author and keep up the good work biggrin.gif .

Please go to the following link in order to view the topic:

http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showtopic=482514

Now, it's time for the review,

- Writing:Very Good . The text has very few noticable mistakes and also colouring of texts have been used.

- Presentation: Very Good. The cutscenes are timed well and also animations have been included which makes the missions lively.

Brother's Gibson

- Length: Decent, as it can be done in about 4 minutes. The player plays as Harry who comes from London. He then goes to his new home with Mac.

- Difficulty:Easy. The only way the mission can fail is when the player dies. The only game play there is in this mission is driving and the rest are cutscenes.

- Variety: Decent. Characters include Connor, Mac, Harry and the plane Captain. Vehicles include a plane and a car.

A walk in the park

- Length: Good, as it can be done in about 6 minutes. Harry and Connor has to drive to different places as Connor shows the different places to Harry.

- Difficulty: Easy. The gameplay mainly includes driving as Connor gives different information about the places.

- Variety: Decent. Characters include Connor and Harry. Vehicles include Alpha.

Robbing the store

- Length:Very good , as it can be done in about 8 minutes. The player has to rob a store and get to a hiding place in bayside.

- Difficulty: normal. The three security guards in the store can be easy to kill as the player has a shotgun. The hard and tiring part comes when the player has to drive to bayside while having a three star wanted level.

- Variety: Good. Characters include Harry, Connor, Security guards, Police. Vehicles include Alpha, police cars. Objects include explosive barrels, Police blockades. Weapons include Shotgun, pistol. Pickups include weapons, armour.

Safehouse

- Length:Good , as it can be done about 5 minutes. THe player has to get to a safe house and kill some mexicans. Then Connor and Mac go to meet a car dealer.

- Difficulty: Normal. The mexicans carry uzi's and they also have good accuracies.

- Variety: Good. Characters include some Mexicans, Connor, Mac and an unknown car dealer. Weapons include Uzis, pistol. Pickups include weapons, armour. Vehicles include alpha, and three vehicles at the auto shop.

Overall the missions are good icon14.gif . The first two missions did not have any action as they were the first missions of the storyline and gives the general information about what the missions may be about. But as we reach the third mission, action starts. The author did a good job in creating the missions and must continue with this work.
