Hello everyone,

Today, I'm going to review 4 missions made by maliksusanto. These missions are part of the

Mount chiliad clown gang series.

The missions can be downloaded at: http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showtopic=471138 .

Now, it's time for the review,

- Writing: Good. While there isn't too many dialogues or long mission instructions. They're a noticeable amount of typing mistakes. Otherwise, good text colorings in order to make the readings a little bit easier.

- Presentation: Good. Nice viewing angle between different cutscenes. Other than the enemy base which is made of metallic platforms, most of the cutscenes are pretty much about the communications between different characters.

Mount chiliad

- Length: Short, as it can be done in 2 minutes. The player Diaz, an LSPD officer who also desguised as a clown has been tasked by CJ to kill the remaining Mount Chilliad gang members (clowns) inside their metallic wall base at the top of the mountain.

- Difficulty: Hard. Almost every enemy the player faces are equipped with shotgun which is very easy to get damage from. Try to aim them to the head as quickly as possible with the pistol and use the vehicle inside the tiny base as your advantage against the enemy fires.

- Variety: Decent. The characters include LSPD officers, CJ and the psychotic clowns gang. The weapons include Shotgun and pistol. The objects include metallic platforms and the vehicle includes the 4x4 car.

Clown base

- Length: Short, as it can be done in 3 minutes. The player Diaz has been tasked by CJ to kill the remaining Mount Chilliad gang members inside their base (Area 69) and escape the area.

- Difficulty: Hard. There's a large amount of enemies inside the base and they're mostly equipped with shotguns, which is very easy to receive damage. To make it more challenging, there's a lack of healthpacks and armors in this mission. Use the surroundings of Area 69 base as your advantage against the enemy fires. There's also a 1 minute time limit near the end of the mission.

- Variety: Decent. The characters include LSPD officers, CJ and the psychotic clowns gang. The weapons include Shotgun, m4 and pistol. A few objects include fences and walls.

Reinforcement

- Length: Good, as it can be done in 5 minutes. The player Kane, a swat member, has been tasked by the law forces to kill the remaining Mount Chilliad gang members at their metallic platform base on the top of the mountain.

- Difficulty: Very Hard. The mission gets progressively hard from the beginning to the end of the missions, as the enemies carry melee weapons from the first horde until they carry deadly weapons such as minigun, combat shotgun and country rifle from the final horde. Quick headshots and keep the distance away from the enemies while they focus to your allies are key to succeed this mission.

- Variety: Good. The characters include LSPD officers, SWAT members, the army soldiers and the psychotic clowns gang. The weapons include pool cue, katana, chaisaw, knife, combat shotgun, minigun, country rifle and mp5. The objects include the metal platforms.

Flaming fraud

- Length: Good, as it can be done in 5 minutes. The player Diaz, has been tasked by CJ to save his Grove Street gang at the bridge west of mount Chilliad against the Psychotic clowns gang.

- Difficulty: Hard. Most enemies carry powerful weapons such as combat shotgun, shotgun, country rifle and sniper with great accuracies. The final enemy cannot be headshotted and takes a while to take him down. Use the car roadblocks as your advantage against the enemy fires.

- Variety: Very Good. The characters include LSPD officer, SWAT member, army soldier, CJ, the GSF gang and the psychotic clowns gang. The weapons include combat shotgun, shotgun, country rifle, m4, micro-uzi, mp5 and sniper. The vehicles include 4x4 car, taxi cab and some gangster cars. The objects include the metallic platform base.

Overall the missions are good icon14.gif . But it is not really recommended for the average players as there's some tedious road travellings to do, so as killing the enemies who carry some really powerful weapons. Nonetheless, the missions are still good as it's own and the author must keep the good work biggrin.gif .

Hi there,

Today, I'll review a mission made by guib called Family Disagreement.

Now, it's time for the review.

-Writing: Very Good. There are less errors than there are sentences. That's how I like it. There is no text coloring but since there are basically no errors, it does not matter.

-Presentation: Very Good. There are some cutscenes but they are easy to understand and it's easy to follow the story.

-Length: Very Good. As it can be done in nine (9) minutes, the player plays as a Mafia mobster tasked to assist some guys of his family to kill some Forelli's.

-Difficulty: Medium. There are many enemies that can ambush you from behind and from the right and left side but if you take cover... You won't have any trouble dealing with them.

-Variety: Excellent. There are many different vehicles (with different colors) and actors for both of the family. We can also mention the variety of weapons.

Overall, the mission is great. It is recommended for the players looking for a shootout mission. There is also a drive-by part for vehicles shootout fans. It could have had been harder thought. Nonetheless, it's a good enjoyable mission you must not skip.

Hi there,

Today, I'll review four missions made by SevilleCheng. They are part of the Seville Cheng Chronicles.

Now, it's time for the review.

-Writing: Good. There are quite a lot of spelling mistakes such as lack of spacing between words but it doesn't make the mission hard to understand..

-Presentation: Good. There are many cutscenes but some actors lack some animations but that's not such a big deal.

69 Park's Fight

-Length: Very Good. As it can be done in nine (9) minutes, the player plays as a woman ped tasked to take a look on Johnny at Pier 69 during a confrontation with the San Fierro Vagos.

-Difficulty: Medium. The player has to snipe down the Vagos until the cops arrive. Then, the player has to drive back to Seville's house waving trough SWAT vehicles.

-Variety: Decent. The actors are almost all the same, there are a few different weapons and only one car, plus there are no pickups.

Downtown Shootout

-Length: Very Good. As it can be done in nine (9) minutes, the player plays as Seville Cheng. He is assisted by John Secronom to look out on Johnny but a P.D.A. group arrives and they must kill them.

-Difficulty: Medium. You must kill the P.D.A. guys then return to Seville's house waving through FBI vehicles.

-Variety: Decent. The actors are almost all the same, there are a few different weapons and two different cars. There are also no pickups.

Vagos' Last Night

-Length: Excellent. As it can be done in ten (10) minutes, the player plays as Seville Cheng. He is assisted by John Secronom and the same woman to eliminate the last Vagos in San Fierro whom are hanging at The Pleasure Domes.

-Difficulty: Hard. The mission is is easy-medium inside the building but when we are on the roof, we have to deal with an Hunter helicopter and some shooters on the bridge above us.

-Variety: Decent. The actors are almost all the same, there are a few different weapons but there are some pickups such as health and armor.

And Then There Were...

-Length: Long. As it can be done in fifteen (15) minutes, the player plays as Seville Cheng. He, with John, Johnny and a biker group must defend a position from the Ballas, Vagos and Grove Street Families while protecting John whom is sabotaging something from the house.

-Difficulty: Very Hard. There are many enemies but the most dangerous are the ones with Rocket Launcher. They attack from many different places. The bikers are not of any help apart from attracting the enemies attention towards them. Fortunately, the wanted level is disabled.

-Variety: Good. There are some different actors but not a lot of vehicles. There is an Heat-Seeking Rocket Launcher on the north-east side of the mansion and few items.

Overall, the missions are good. These missions includes many things like defending a position, sniping people, dodging helicopters missiles, etc... The players might not like the first ones because of their easiness but the last one is a good challenge for an average player looking for something different than his avergae type of mission. Nonetheless, the missions are good but toning up the difficulty would be a great asset.

Hello guys,

I'm going to review 2 missions made by Doublepulse. From a series called Las Venturas Crew.

- Williams to Rescue

- Phils Last Customer

- Writing: Excellent! There are many dialogs and have right punctuations etc. Author knows brilliant English. The Storyline looks very interesting.

- Presentation: Very Good.First of all, Nice Viewing angel between different cutscenes. And the stoyline/mission looks very realistic because the author put much effort on it and these normal cutscenes looks like watching a movie, So Very realistic cutscene, Best work on that. Also in cutscenes there are different animations. What a work! icon14.gif

Williams to Rescue

- Length: Excellent. The Mission done in i think about 10 Minutes. The Destination given to the player like Drive home at Las Venturas which is bit long but not far. The Cutscenes have right time. The Author focused carefully that in every cutscene duration will be Text per time. Like "I should be asking you the same! Let's talk in car. We need to escape" So the author set the time 5 or 6 seconds. Which is really Excellent work!

- Difficulty: Hard. The Enemies not have so great accuracy but they have powerful weapons like Ak47 or M4 which player can almost died, but author set Health and Armor pickups at right time to heal himself who is playing the mission. The car Flips sometimes if someone not have great driving skill but doesn't mess up the Storyline.

- Variety: Good. Characters include Markus Williams, Officer Williams, Commander frank and some cops. Weapons include Shotgun of Officer Williams, 9mm Pistol, Ak47, M4, SMG. Vehicle include LVPD Police car of Officer Williams. Objects include some gates to block the way to out of LSPD HQ where this mission sets.

Phils last customer

- Length: Excellent. Well i don't know the correct time of mission but it done's in 11 or 12 minutes. The Player Markus has been tasked to pay Phil a Visit at V-Rock or something, which is near where player sets somewhere at Construction site at Las Venturas.

- Difficulty: Very Hard!. Lol! The Mission is hard through because player goes to pay phil his las customer Markus. The Enemies have very great Accuracy and have powerful weapons. But player has given a Minigun which is easy to kill the enemies.

- Variety: Very Good. Characters include Markus playable character Salvatore (Sal), Johnny, Phil and some his guys (Enemies). Vehicle include I think Sultan. Weapons include M4, Desert Eagle, Ak47, SMG, Minigun, Rocket Launcher etc.

Overall, both missions are Impressive icon14.gif , The Missions are funny too the dialog and cuscenes are realistic and very funny. I Like the Presentation and length. Everything was great in the missions. I hope to see same effort in future missions, also keep up smile.gif

Hello everyone,

Today, I'm going to review 4 missions made by Secronom president. They're part of the Let Your Own Faction Rise (LYOFR) series.

Please click on the missions below in order to download each of these missions.

- The Triangle

- Road confrontation

-The operation

- Close to liberty

Now, it's time for the review,

-Writing: Excellent. Pretty much everything is well written. They might be some very few typing mistakes there, but it's mostly due for quick typing which happens sometimes.

- Presentation: Excellent. Nice viewing angle between different cutscenes. The missions really gives the impression that the 2 opposites factions are fighting in an intense warzone, especially with the random explosions. Some missions has even the foggy weather effects.

The Triangle

- Length: Good, as it can be done in 5 minutes. The player Jeff, a triangle member who fights against the San Andreas army soldiers, their nemesis, at Aldea Malvada in his first major gunfight.

- Difficulty: Very Hard. The mission can be divided into 3 events: fighting the horde of enemy actors, fighting the enemy vehicles like barracks and tanks, and fighting the hunter helicopters. The first 2 events isn't too difficult as long the player keep distance from them. The last event, however is brutal with 5 helicopters shooting missiles at you at the same time. Quickly use the rocket launcher given during the mission and shoot them as fast as possible.

- Variety: Very Good. The characters include the Triangle faction members, mostly consisting of important San Andreas actors such as Big Smoke and Ryder, and the San Andreas army soldiers. The weapons include mp5, ak-47, m4 and rocket launcher. The vehicles include the barrack, tank and hunter helicopter. The items include healthpacks and armors.

Road Confrontation

- Length: Good, as it can be done in 5 minutes. The player Jeff and his triangle allies are fighting against the San Andreas army soldiers from Aldea Malvada to Tierra Robada from the main road on foot.

- Difficulty: Normal. The mission is mainly about fighting against the enemy actors in an intense gunfight. Keep your distance away from them while shooting with the AK-47 in order to defeat them without too much trouble. Watch out for the airstrikes, aka random explosions, as they can be annoying if the player doesn't know where they are.

- Variety: Very Good. The characters include the Triangle faction members, mostly consisting of important San Andreas actors such as Big Smoke and Ryder, and the San Andreas army soldiers. The weapons include mp5, ak-47 and m4. The vehicles include the barrack, tank and patriot. The items and objects include healthpacks, armors and a computer cabinet.

The Operation

- Length: Good, as it can be done in 5 minutes. The player Jeff and his triangle allies are fighting against the San Andreas army soldiers around the Tierra Robada bridge while on foot.

- Difficulty: Very Hard. The enemy actors can be defeated without too much trouble when the player shoots them in distance. However, the most difficult part is when the player must face against tanks, enemy actors and 3 hunter helicopters at the same time. Quickly use the rocket launcher given during the mission and shoot them as fast as possible. As usual, watch out for random explosions.

- Variety: Very Good. The characters include the Triangle faction members, mostly consisting of important San Andreas actors such as Big Smoke and Ryder, and the San Andreas army soldiers. The weapons include rocket launcher, ak-47 and m4. The vehicles include the barrack, tank and hunter helicopter. The items include healthpacks and armors.

Close To Liberty

- Length: Good, as it can be done in 6 minutes. The player Jeff and his triangle allies are fighting against the San Andreas army soldiers and detectives at the southwest of the Tierra Robada bridge while on foot and crossing the desert mountain at the same time.

- Difficulty: Normal. The enemy actors can be defeated without too much trouble when the player shoots them in distance while your allies are also assisting you in the gunfights. Also thanks to the hilly terrain, the enemies will have a harder time to punish the player even while they're in their vehicles. As usual, watch out for random explosions.

- Variety: Very Good. The characters include the Triangle faction members, mostly consisting of important San Andreas actors such as Big Smoke and Ryder, and the San Andreas army soldiers and detectives. The weapons include mp5r, ak-47 and m4. The vehicles include the barrack, tank and patriots. The items include healthpacks and armors.

Overall the missions are very good and has military theme on it icon14.gif . These missions are recommended for people who are looking for intense actions with massive gunfights between 2 opposite factions and constant destructive explosions. The only drawback is that the hunter helicopters can be very annoying with their deadly missiles, but this is mostly due to the limitation of the DYOM engine. Overall, great job for the author and must keep up the great work biggrin.gif .

Hello, friends!

Today I'm going to review a missions mde by maliksusanto. The mission's name is First war

The missions can be find here: http://dyom.gtagames.nl/?act=show&id=12042

Now, time for review:

- Writing: Good. I didn't love your style of writing, but I didn't notice any mistakes, so good work.

- Presentation: Very good. Nice viewing angle between cutscenes, I love the way how you using it.

- Length: Short, as it took for me 3 minutes to complete it. The protagonist, named Shinzo, is tasked to kill some pedestrians, so Allied Force can come. Butwith them, cops are arriving at place, and now Shinzo must kill cops. After it, one of remaining cops calls for backup, and Shinzo kills the backup.

- Difficulty: Easy, as the only difficult that can be is if you will be spotted by cops or soldiers.

- Variety: Good. Characters include Shinzo, Kenji, pedestrians, Allied Force, cops and soldiers. Vehicles include Burrito and LS police car. Weapons include MP5, Micro Uzi, SPAS12, Sawn-off Shotgun and pistol.

Overall, the mission is good but too easy and short. I didn't understand the whole story yet, but I think that it will be good. The idea isn't original, but I didn't saw anything about Japanese wars. I wish the author good luck in future works and keep up biggrin.gif.

Hi, folks!

Today, I am going to review three mission made by mati1501. They are part of the Real Muthaphukkin G's mission pack. You can find the missions in this thread: http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showtopic=473256

Now to the review;

-Writing: Excellent. Although the characters are gangsters, I found some errors that shouldn't have been there. Nonetheless, it's not making the missions hard to understand.

-Presentation: Very Good. They have the right viewing angle but, some of them lacks animated actors (Who's the Mack) or some have invisible (disapearing/appearing) actors (Introduction). Still, it's not a big deal.

Introduction

-Length: Short. As it can be done in three minutes, the player watches the story of the main character.

-Difficulty: Very Easy. The mission is composed of cutscenes that the player must watch.

-Variety: Good. The mission includes different actors such as Pulaski, FBI guy, SWAT guy, a Grove Street gang member and more. There are some different weapons and the Riot Mode is enabled. The only vehicle is a BMX. There is also a cigar in the Pulaski look-alike cop.

Blood Within

-Length: Excellent (but it can be variable). As it can be done in eleven minutes, the player must fight Bloodz members in a bare-hand contest. Then, he must find Cripz members and kill them. That's where the special note after "Excellent" comes in. It depends of the luck of the player to find them that will determine the length of the mission.

-Difficulty: Medium. You have to fight Bloodz members (one of the round as three of them at the same time). You need to find Cripz gang members and kill them while avoiding angry rioters, exploding cars and the police if you get their attention.

-Variety: Very Good. It has different actors such as Sweet (Doc DD), Bloodz and Crips gang members with different weapons. There are cars like BMX and Perennial. Riot Mode is enabled.

Who's the Mack

-Length: Excellent. As it crashed after the Latin Lords ho part, I don't have the actual time for the mission. Anyway, the mission can be done ten minutes until the part I mentionned above and the player must collect three ho's.

-Difficulty: Medium. You must collect three ho's and after each one there is a wave of attackers coming to kill you. After the first one, you must kill the Cripz. After the second one, you have the option to kill the Latin Lords or go to the next checkpoint directly. You must do this while avoiding rioters and exploding cars.

-Variety: Excellent. There are many different actors such as Carl, the Latin Lords, the Crips and Bloodz. They all have different weapons and there are cars such as a Perennial, Landstalker and Pony (or Rumpo).

Overall, the missions are good and they give the player a kind of nervosity since we must avoid the exploding cars. I also liked the idea of having the main character beeing forced to tell everything about how he got a Bloodz gang member. Toning up the difficulty a little bit would be a nice asset. Anyway, good job for the author and keep up the good work.

Hello everyone,

Today, I'm going to review 2 missions made by Jimmy_Leppard. They're part of The Forgotten series.

The link in order to download these missions can be found at: http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showtopic=466983

Now, it's time for the review,

- Writing: Excellent. The writing is pretty much perfect, with the right punctuations, syntax, etc. There's a lot of texts too, especially made for explaining the storyline in a much more detail.

- Presentation: Very Good. Nice viewing angle between different cutscenes. There's a lot of different animations that are used in these missions, whether they talk, a sudden explosion, a murder scene, etc. Otherwise, the missions are standard in term of design, not overly complex.

Step out

- Length: Decent, as it can be done in 4 minutes. The player plays as Tommy (Woozie), and he wants to take revenge against Patrick X (Kent Paul) and his henchmens at the parking lot near a small warehouse in East Beach, Los Santos.

- Difficulty: Easy. The enemies have average accuracies but some weapons can be damaging for the player such as desert eagle. Furthermore, the enemies cannot be headshooted, so just aim them to their bodies until they die. Don't let the enemies get too close to the player.

- Variety: Good. The characters include Tommy, Lance, Patrick X and his guards as civilian actors. The weapons include mp5, micro-uzi and desert eagle. The vehicle includes Tommy's motorbike.

Coming atcha Jimmy

- Length: Good, as it can be done in 5 minutes. The player Tommy and Lance want to finish the whole issue by killing Jim Slade (Torino) and his guards inside his mansion (Maddogg's mansion).

- Difficulty: Normal. The enemies have good accuracies and as the player progresses, they carry damaging weapons such as desert eagle and the sub-machine guns. Furthermore, the enemies cannot be headshooted, so just aim them to their bodies until they die. Don't let the enemies get too close to the player.

- Variety: Good. The characters include Tommy, Lance, Jim Slade and his guards as civilian actors. The weapons include mp5, micro-uzi, tec-9, pistol and desert eagle. The vehicle includes Lance's motorbike.

Overall the missions are very good icon14.gif . The author did a very good job to finish the series by closing all the mysteries of the main character with his detailed script. Great job for the author and I hope he keeps up the great work for his future projects biggrin.gif .

Yeah. I'll let AznKei have these two, unless he wants me to do them.

Thank you for letting me review Jimmy_Leppard's missions. I really appreciated this smile.gif .

Jimmy_Leppard
