iLiR
I changed the icon of gta_sa.exe. But, when I execute it, it doesn't start. Later I figured out that the icon was 48x48 and 32 bit, and gta_sa.exe only supports 32x32 4bit icon. But when I make my icon to 32x32 4bit (16 color), it looks to poor, very low quality [but GTA SA loads successfully]. Is there any program that can modify the icon of the .EXE file to look more better and loads more scripts because I used Resource Hacker, but it's a poor program. Or, can I change the structure of gta_sa.exe and make it like I wish? I dunno how R* codded the program? Edited June 25, 2010 by ilir
fastman92
You can change icon without any problem, but icon must be done to be aplicable into exe. I made one year ago 256x256 in GIMP, replaced through ResHacker and it worked. But there is other problem. Most of ASI plugins won't work, because their creators managed to intemplent checking gta_sa.exe size, which have to be default of hooldrum 1.0 version. Perfect examples are: Stream memory fix, Vehicle audio editor and others.
