I used to have a 480p projector back when 480p was still good (Xbox 1 days), and that thing made my room incredibly hot. The lamps in those things get up to insane temperatures. Do the new ones still have that issue?

Nah, I like watching TV on standard def still. It's becoming a pain in the butt to play any games on it though, since they design the games to be played at a higher resolution I can't read any of the damn text.

 

Still ain't gonna get an HDTV and an HDMI cord and all that other money-bleeding crap.

Yes it did. I played the crap out of that game for ages. The second one that came out in the early PS2 days was also very solid, but I was always partial to the original.

 

You could always try plugging into a monitor instead of getting a fancy TV. My friend plays his 360 on the same monitor he uses with his laptop. Much more affordable.

Any other US stoners going to smoke before Thanksgiving dinner? I got an eighth of Sour Diesel on Tuesday, figured since I'm home from school on break, might as well treat myself. The bud down at school isn't as high of quality as it is here in St. Louis. Anyways, about to take a shower, then pick up a friend of mine from his house and go on a bowl cruise, that way I can arrive at my relatives place a solid hour before dinner and just be feeling great and ready to feast. Yeah, that's what I was thinking of doing because I see a few that are a good 22", and my tv is only 27".

I have my TV connected to my cable box, 360, and my PC through HDMI. Can switch seamlessly between the three, but I usually don't use it as a PC monitor except for when I'm watching a movie, or when I have people over and we're taking turns on a game or something.

I've ran out of my supply, now, which is a real shame. My friend's friend (the one who gave us the 'goods') is out of town on a vacation too, so it's going to be a lot harder to get the 'goods'. I was just looking around the 'net, and it seems a few people have posted their mobile/cell numbers around various forums. I found a few, which say to call them any-time after 8pm, and they say that they'll drop the 'goods' off anywhere around the area where I live. I might send this number a text, it's the only source I've got.
