JGJONES
Rover 75 V8... This is a Rear wheel drive, V8 powered British saloon. It uses a tuned Ford Mustang V8 and is a rare car. This car is brilliant, it handles great, goes fast and has more sex appeal than any german bore mobile. This is my dream car, I would buy it in a heartbeat if I could. Sadly, not many other people seem to care about this car... Britain is the only country that hates it's own products, yet they will happily drive around in some crappy Korean budget mobile... this country is a shadow of it's former self. Anyway, enough of my sadness about this country, I guess I'm just more patriotic than most people. I hope this car one day gets the recognition it deserves. I didn't know they made a standard Rover 75 V8, I thought all the V8 ones were MG's. You learn something new every day. I drove a ZT260 and it was a riot. Drifting a grandad-mobile? Yes please. It surprised me how well the one I drove handle- not quite a BMW, but much more comfortable. I don't completely agree with the sex appeal comment though, unless your talking wife swapping circles. Oh, and I hate to burst your patriotic bubble but the 75/ZT was built from BMW 3-series spare parts, and was even based on an E46 chassis modified to be FWD (well in the non V8 models, the V8 was pretty much identical to a 3-series chassis). Brown Sugar
I have to agree with you I love the ford focus and i didn't even know about that one, but another car i like that nobody else seems to is the dodge neon srt-4 everyone thinks it is the same as the chrysler neon but its not, it has a new, better engine No it's not. It's a badge engineered version of the same f*cking car- I've already shown you link to the fact it is. its still a good car and it is the turbocharged version of the original neon so there is better performance Edited June 21, 2010 by gta3kuruma

The Dodge Neon is idental to the Chrysler Neon and the Dodge SRT-4 is identical to the Chrysler SRT-4. That's what I've been saying all along. Cursed
I have a soft spot for the old XR2s: As well as the MK3 Escort: And the MK3 Capri: Don't see many of these old Fords around anymore, I would imagine most of them have rusted away by now. Ofcourse when i'm done with it, it would hopefully look something like this one: At Santa Pod I met a guy who ran a street legal Mk3 Jetta 16v Turbo on 14" BBS Race wheels. That thing was pulling 10 second quarters all day long despite still being FWD. Besides having 10" wide front wheels it was a proper sleeper. Pat
I love the older Jettas (especially with a diesel), but I can't stand when they look like the one in your second picture.

Unless its on airbags it's a bit low to be daily usable, but fine for showing off. BBS wheels on VW = Timeless.
Black-hawk
I really dig the previous gen Sebrings for some reason. Yes they're sh*tty cars that fall apart after a month of driving, but man, they sure look good. They just have this sense of refinement going for them. The current gen one though, that thing is a real combo breaker.
Pat
I don't mind how the Sebring looks, but if I'm getting one of those, I'm going with the Stratus. Both are chick cars but at least the Stratus is somewhat sporty. @DDS: I love BBS wheels on VWs (remember the RAs from my dad's Cabriolet I asked about selling?) but any VW pre-2000 looks awful with wheels larger than 16". jake-dk
The Fiat Coupe Well Ive heard a lot of people dislike Fiat, I don't know about the Fiat Coupe though, Im posting it anyway I just love this car They are cheap because they have the same engine as the Fiat Brava, and its FWD Im going to buy one when i turn
matthew1g
As Far as cars go, I'm personally in love with anything german, specifically from VW/Audi camp (that said I hate mercs and bmw's are only just starting to look good again, the last couple of years, they were sh*t, the 3 series still looks crap imo) anyhow, with that said, When I was a kid, I was given a peugeot 406 coupe kit, I've been addicted to the looks of the bastard ever since: its a pity they're not really a sensible thing to buy, they're quite rare, they're getting old, have somewhat bad fuel economy and coming with engines starting from a 2L petrol, taxes and insurance are sky high. Also, the non-turbos are gutless and the turbocharged ones have engine internals made from chocolate and sponge. Handle well though. As for the Jetta earlier- some Mk4 Golfs/Boras left the factory with 18/19" wheels and two generations of Passatt were produced in the 90's, which look terribly under-wheeled on anything less than 17's. The Jetta isn't a small car, and those tyres are at least a 35 side profile and look like 17's. With 16's you be looking at either a 50-odd side profile (too much sidewall) or risk making it look like a sofa, with dinky wheels.
MrcTOtheJ
The car no one agrees with me on is the z31 style 300zx. Sure it looks like a stereotypical wedge racer, but good lord do I rubberneck everytime I see one. They are sooo underrated. Oh my god I love the Z31, in my opinion one of the best looking Nissans ever made, especially back in the 80's, most Nissans looked like sh*t in that era. Also I always liked the 1992-ish Nissan Sentra especially the SE-R though people think I'm strange for it. And ever science we owned a 1977 Mercury Grand Marquis I have always had a soft spot for them Though the one we had was in funky 70's orange, and don't let the looks fool you it can get up to speed, though you better have a good half mile to slow down for a turn. epoxi
Horrifically ugly hood, based on an old granny's car...but with some tuning (yeah, about £15,000...so what?) produces 500HP and can embarrass a Viper in a drag race. No one understands this poor Sunny.

Gundog
I'd want a 190E of any kind, hell I wouldn't mind a 2.5 EVO II, although I hate the spoiler. My friends are into Honda Civics and Toyotas and sh*t. They say a Benz 190E is a sh*t luxury car that wasn't made to go fast. If only they knew that a 190 could kick any Civic's ass, and is actually comfortable to drive, and it's pretty spacious. You are an aperture through which the universe is looking at and exploring itself.
chris
I had one as the screensaver on my phone and my mates were asking why i had a 20 year old vauxhall as my screensaver. They made about 5 minutes worth of jokes about how sh*t old vauxhalls are and how one of the lads 2.0 Volvo S40 would beat it in a race. I just laughed before informing them it was a twin turbo straight six, capable of 60mph in around 5 seconds before moving on to a ridiculous 170+mph. They're nowhere near as sharp as E30 M3's, but they do have a lovely air of opulence about them that you get from lots of fast Jags. They're also shockingly cheap to insure (I got quoted something like £700 fully comp at 19, with 2 years NCB), and will wipe the arse with any chavved up Civic. The suspension is quite soft, particularly on the rear, so they can hold slides very easily. Just don't floor one off a wet roundabout... The Lotus Carlton is an absurd and increbile piece of engineering. If only Vauxhall spent more them building things like that an the VX220T, and less pratting about with stupid MPV's, they wouldn't get so much sh*t... SLAYERMAGGOT
I love those old cars, like the VW Golf MK1, Jetta MK1 and old Audi's from the late 70s/80s. An VW Golf from the german post would be a car that would earn a lot views But personally i wouldn't buy a car from the 70s, better one from the 80s as i'm not a car mechanic and don't have enough money to buy an oldtimer, so a youngtimer would be perfect for me as i hate most of the cars from the 90s up to now. Also i love muscle cars and american cars from the 80s, but i couldn't buy one of them yet as they need a lot fuel, which is very, very expensive in germany. But maybe i'll pick up a hearse when i'm older
