oldage
The SAS and NASCAR weren't exactly good comparisons to simple sports. also, doesn't kinect and PS move require a rather big room?

The_Mario_Man
join the REAL SAS Yeah because you can just walk up to an SAS recruitment station and just be like 'CAN I JOIN? OLOLOL!!1!!!ONE!'. That's the point. Also, you CAN attempt to apply for things like the Rangers and whatnot upon joining the military. Whether you actually make it is another story. The SAS might be different though, I admittedly don't know how the UK does its army stuff. Video games are a means to escape from things and do something we wouldn't/cannot normally do. If somebody isn't particularly athletic, I doubt they'd risk their health trying to play actual football. Although to be fair, I don't understand why you'd need to shell out 50-60 bucks for one of these fitness videogames to basically tell you to do some pushups. darthYENIK
I for one DO play real guitar, and really like Guitar Hero and Rock Band. What do you snappy, oh so witty, people have to say now? As for the new Xbox's old hardware, f*ck Microsoft. I hate to be that guy, but they build faulty hardware so you have to either buy a new system in three years, or have them repair it for an exorbitant fee. That has to be the worst excuse to be fat. I didn't say 'fat,' I said 'not athletic.' If you're fat then by all means go f*cking do some exercise, but as for saying "Hey, you want to play football, go outside and play it," not everybody wants to/can. If they did all of these sports games wouldn't sell, would they? Edited June 17, 2010 by The_Mario_Man

If they did all of these sports games wouldn't sell, would they? Calm down. Not being athletic and not doing anything about it is still an excuse for being lazy, just like saying you're too fat to do something. Seriously now, saying you play FIFA because you're not athletic enough to play football and have fun, even though having fun has nothing to do with athletic level, is some real bullsh*t excuse. The_Mario_Man
See, now you're saying that if you don't enjoy playing sports you must be lazy, which is not what I said. It's a requirement of my job to move around and stay fit, but I don't particularly like sports unless they involve standing still and having a weapon (hunting, archery, etc). If someone brings a copy of Madden or FIFA over I'll probably play it, but I don't know/care enough about either sport to physically be involved in an actual game. In addition, I live in a pretty crappy neighborhood, with not even a friggen backyard in sight large enough to have a decent game in. I'm sorry if my posts sound aggressive, it's hard to convey tone on the internet. And I don't like using smileys. Capricornus
Hmmm, so i am feeling that Nintendo came out on top at this year's E3. I know that the people on here don't really give Nintendo credit but they did excellent. New Donkey Kong Country, Goldeneye, Kid Icarus, LoZ, strippers, excellent work by Nintendo. They won this year's E3 IMO. But I was really glad to see some footage of Metal Gear Rising. Cannot wait for that f*cking game. And yes, GT 5 needs to get a release date. Seddo
I was actually looking out for info on FIFA 11 but come across Pro Evo 11 and for the first time in 4-5 years Pro Evo looks amazing, it's got a mega graphics over haul and the gameplay just looks great. Plus they've improved the jossling of players battling for the ball amongst a few other things Plus it's going to have an online Master League mode, now that will be class if they can sort out their online part of the game. I'm thinking that the NBA finals game 7 next door, will spur a riot that will spill into the convention center. Maybe that's worth following. Seriously though. My thirst for new interesting game news has been quenched. One more game would be perfect, but I'm not complaining.

Seddo
Has anybody seen this yet? So I'll also have to take back my words of it being more precise than the Wii, lol.
