Saw two plot points that don't make a lot of sense, even seeing virtually all of the Season now, One is the guy met on the tracks who says to follow them to safe haven, what does he know? How much that he's not letting on, state of sincerity, the other being the bus of survivors and how they possibly turned. If this much is a spoiler, just tag it and bag it. Don't delete this though!

As for the bus, that confused me too. They overturned out in the middle of a road with no obvious obstacle that could have caused it. Even if you say that the crash could make sense, I doubt EVERYONE on board would've died. Who knows, could be that only one person on board died and they reanimated quickly, spreading it to the rest. Either way, I doubt we should expect foul play, probably just some lazy/obscure writing.

 

Happy 50 pages! Wonder if we'll get 50 more?

Have been watching this on Netflix. Finished the first season and am currently about 3/4th through the second season. But I do have one question. Was it explained at all how the zombie apocalypse got started? Like where it came from? Or will I find that out later on?

I hate cliff hangers. I liked how this show's finales tied up the major story arcs of the season, with some cliff hanger type of stuff, but this is too much. It felt like the first half of the season was a good full arc, but the second half wasn't complete.

 

The episode itself was good. Thank f*cking god they gave Rick and co. an episode.

Didn't seem all that much more Cliffhanger-y to me than teasing the Prison at the end of Season 2.

Didn't catch it until after Midnight, since I was out enjoying fantastic weather today, but I'm watching the Talking Dead, and I found this site filling in non-discussion points, like change in the series producer who is on the show with Andrew Lincoln tonight.

Also the 'spin off' discussed I didn't hear about, but be aware of any spoilers there maybe here...

Hey, not to spoil it, but that last line was hilarious, they discussed on Talking Dead how we've seen Peaceful Rick come about in his character arc for the season to one who will do anything to protect his son,... Anything. The word 'Screwed' was used in place of any use of the "F" word, if they could get away with it, they probably would have said something like "That they're f*ckin' with the wrong people".

 

Paraphrased as he was replying of course, so it was a response to the question about why would they feel silly

Rick's always been the best. He's the one who's been forced to change the most because his world keeps turning upside-down. Insane just how much he's changed. That picture gives me chills.

They actually mentioned the different line takes for the finale on The Talking Dead after I typed it in, so I was ahead of the 8 ball. Pretty wierd

Both shows finished now, but my computer crashed while I was testing a USB audio device, so I had to close everything and reboot. I didn't get back to this right away, but it was pretty funny. Their new producer said the FCC's to blame, and Chris Hardwick tried to coax Andrew Lincoln to say the line but all he'd admit to is it felt pretty good to just say it no holds barred

Great episode, the beginning bit especially.

 

Can't say it was satisfying as a finale, though. I mean, we'll be waiting for Season 5 until October or so, correct?

 

But hey, that's still fairly close. At least there won't be some type of huge hiatus.

what exactly is terminus? i mean, is it a place where people are tricked into coming so they get robbed? or kept until they can be used for meet?

or is it a place for actual sanctuary but has crude methods of filtering people who can stay and who can't

I think it is a cannibal cult, when they were making them run there was this fence with what looked like bones and meat all spread on the ground (i'm not 100% sure though), and then there was that weird room with all the candles.

Terminus is almost certainly a death-trap, not a sanctuary of any sort, they are more than likely cannibals, this is why we see Rick knock the food out of Carl's hands and why the first thing that Mary does when she meets the Glenn/Abraham group is offer them the meat.

Am I the only one who thought the episode didn't live up to the hype? Don't get me wrong, I thought it was a great episode, probably the best of the second part of the season, but for all the hype there was surrounding the episode and how we would see a side of Rick we never saw before, I just didn't really think it seemed to live up to it.

It was my favourite episode of the entire show, when rick was biting that guys throat I was super happy and excited I was slightly disappointed with the way rick killed the other guy, I was hoping for something more violent like ripping his throat with his bare hands or cutting his head off, It was good how it was but it would of been better if it showed more of the stabbing though. i didn't know about any of the hype because the only thing I see from the show is the actual episode and none of the marketing, previews or stuff online.

Well judging from this, it'll be....

 

The bit in the comic where Carl almost gets raped and Rick just loses his sh*t and just won't stop beating on the guys who tried to do it. Dayrl's new group are a bunch of scumb bags so it does all kind of come together there. If this is the case, Michonne might lose it too and join Rick in his bloody beatings. He also f*cked up those cannibals in the comics too. Maybe Rick just snaps in the midst of all this horror at terminus and beats the sh*t outta everyone.

The other evidence is that Carl's been characterised as more innocent lately. To have that one remain scrap of his humanity ripped from him would be enough to get a big emotional response from us all. Maybe finally get rid of all this hate Carl sometimes gets aimed at him (which I never really understood)

 

 

Called it.... kind of. No one died, surprisingly. But Rick and Co were terrible at recognizing a trap when they saw one. They were obviously being guided down a particular path, should have doubled back or maybe not followed the carnage?

 

As for "what now?", I'm pretty sure Daryl has the blueprints for a train car tattooed somewhere on his body. The gang should be out of there in a season.

Talk about character development, damn! He literately has been on a trip to and from hell several times.

 

The series is sometimes pretty predictable, and the anxiety only builds when you aren't sure what is going to happen, but you kind of have an idea. I mean, the way how the characters actions and plots unfold just to keep the main characters alive, is kind of acceptable and laughable at the same time. In a real life scenario, those hunters that Daryl were with, would not count from 10 just so they give a reason for Rick's group to fight back..But of course it is a show ..

 

I could be wrong though, would anyone hesitate to take someone out who may decide to fight back?
