When Daryl first met who I assume are "The Hunters", I predicted that eventually he would meet up with Rick and Michonne. Sh*t would go down and the trio + Carl would kill all The Hunters somehow.

 

I'm hoping this happens tonight.

 

 

Anybody else expecting that to happen this season? Or do you think Joe and "The Hunters" will be the next major antagonist(s) for season 5?

and i was expecting Terminus to be alot bigger that. I pictured a massive industrial place with some guards at the gate with alot of people around. Instead we got a medium size place that they easily walked into with one person in it that you could see.

I'm glad everyone is finally going to get a good ending. I guess this is going to be the series finale where they all set up in a nice train station with some good people and spend the rest of their days rebuilding the world they once knew.

Yes, I did. Not sure if you knew this, but that was the first movie that Greg Nicotero worked on, as the assistant of makeup and visual effects great Tom Savini.

Since one of them saw Rick under the bed, I assume that guy would've told the group. Then they would've pieced together why another member of their group died and turned into a walker, and then set off for vengeance.

That's enough for a reckoning.

 

So after 4 weeks, Rick's group returned for a 5 minute scene just to show us the best friend bond between Carl and Michonne.... meh. It was a nice scene, I was just expecting more of that group after all the wacky adventures the other characters have been getting up to.

Joe is a very interesting character, he's already grown on me. I hope he does actually stick around for season 5 as the villain, it's nice to have a bad guy that you hate to love as opposed to love to hate like the Governor. So far he doesn't seem very antagonistic with his rules, but you have to think he had to do something wicked to become the leader of that group of bandits and be able to enforce said rules. Also the way he calmly handled the situation between Daryl and Len by having Len killed was quite an evil trait, I look forward to seeing what he's like when he's actually angry.

I f*cking love Eugene! What a great way to open the episode after the depressing ending last week. Though I suppose it's necessary for the viewers who binge-watch the show on DVD or Netflix.

 

Oh yeah, Glenn and Maggie finally reunited.

Does anyone else think the burning of the picture of Maggie was foreshadowing her death?.... possibly next week?

I'm definitely hyped for next week's episode, which is nice considering that's rare for this show.

 

 

I'm betting that Beth was kidnapped by Mary's group at Terminus. And the "plates" she's offering Glenn, Maggie and co. are most likely parts of Beth's flesh. Judging by the preview it looks like Rick is extremely traumatized by something, my guess is human flesh.

 

 

I remember saying this time last year that I was probably going to drop the show but they really turned it around this season.

Perhaps I shouldn't have used that word. I mean it as a good thing, like he's a badass. I like his take no sh*t personality. He almost reminds me of Jack from Breaking Bad. Unfortunately it looks like he won't be a mainstay character for long judging by the preview I posted.

Oh snap. That footage just made me think way differently about this whole situation. Not that it's any secret that Terminus isn't what it appears to be, but I'm starting to look at Joes group in a whole different light.

I was re-watching the ending to the newest episode and I've really grown to like that song that plays as they enter the compound. When Mary's face was shown on the screen I don't recall being suspicious initially, but looking back she's creepy as f*ck.

This has been my favourite season of the show and the last episode looks like it will be good, I hope they don't stay at terminus for too long next season because I think the show starts to get boring when they stay in the same place (eg. the farm and the prison) but maybe it could be different with terminus since its probably evil. Also I really like Eugene but I think he's lying about knowing how to stop everything.

Dayum, that was a big steak on the grill that was the first thing i noticed. after seeing that, along with the lack of seeing or hearing any animals, it's a pretty obvious call to anyone regardless of their comic knowledge.

 

 

Wild speculation: So, in the "on the next episode" bit we see Rick seemingly searching terminus. We see nothing of the first group. I'm presuming that Glen, Maggs and co are all hanging from hooks somewhere, ready to be grilled. Someone's probably gonna die.

 

Has anyone else watched the re-airing of the first seasons in black and white? I'm intrigued and wondering if its worth the rewatch.
