That scene with Rick and the baby was the tops. I love how he just gets progressively worse at talking to anyone in the group other than Hershel. Hopefully Tyreese's group manages to integrate with the main group and weeds out it's less than spectacular members. As for Daryl, this is the way I wanted it to go, so hard. Merle and Daryl have some great chemistry and due to past events it's kind of hard to have them work together without the majority of the people around them angry at one of them. I hope they live on their own for a while but I can't see it lasting for long since Daryl was the main badass of Rick's group. If things went the way I wanted they would just take Merle, but I doubt anyone can handle that wonderful man for any longer than five minutes.

Finally caught up with the latest episode. Watching all these things back-to-back made me realize that I would be 100% worthless in a zombie apocalypse. Every time someone is in need I root for the group to help them. The way they turned away Tyreese and his group drove me nuts. Hershel is my favorite character so far (Daryll too, obviously). His calm voice and pleasant demeanor make me happy and adds some much needed humanity to the chaos.

 

I'm looking forward to seeing how the governor will attack the prison. I'm anticipating mass casualties

I felt like the heated discussion between Glenn and Rick was bit forced. I also couldn't help laugh when Rick was flippin' out when he seen Lori's ghost yelling for it to get out as Tyresse's group asked if they could stay in the prison.

 

When it showed the preview for the next episode, I gotta comic flashback seeing Glenn in that armor.

I loved the scenes between Merle and Daryl. Finally after three season those two had serious screen time together. I think they handled it really good. You got to see behind Merle's facade. He tries to act tough in front of Daryl, but his love for his brother showed a new side we didn't know about. Maybe Merle isn't such a sh*t head. At least not a total sh*t head. 85% sh*t head.

Good episode. The ending was just intense. Didnt see it comming at all and i didnt think darrel would return so early. So what happens now do they get rid of all those walkers and try to fix up the gate and what happened to the other group?

Axel's death came out of nowhere. I almost sh*t my pants when that bullet hit. I knew the Governor was going to the prison, but he just came out of the left field.

 

Some guy on 4chan's /tv/ spoiled last night's and last week's episode and he posted the plot summary for the next one too. I'm obviously not going to ruin it, but it's going to be a very slow one. More dialogue than action.

Yeah I agree. If a character doesn't talk, starts talking, they will die. Also where the f*ck were Tyrese's group?

 

Also the accuracy of the group, my god. They can shoot a zombie that is running towards them in the head, but can't shoot a guy who is standing still?

I think it was a reflection from a mirror he was looking in.

 

Also, about that girl who came running out of the van full of zombies... I'm pretty sure she was that gate guard Andrea was talking to.

The implication was that their father beat them and that Daryl took a lot of it when Merle left.

As for accuracy, you have to remember that shooting a slowly moving head is a lot different than shooting the head of another person that's firing at you, as well as seven other people firing at you, as well as you're in a sh*t position of hiding and there is literally a corner between you and like a f*cking hailstorm of bullets. For that, I can forgive the accuracy problems.

 

Seriously though, that was a good example of how a firefight goes down. Lots of suppressing fire with very little actual killing.

That's true.

 

I wonder who it could be than.

 

EDIT: But wait... the guard chick did get to the prison shootout a little ways into it (and she had some more time to get there during Axel's whole death scene). So it's possible it could be her. I can't think of any other chicks that are The Governor's lackies.
